Good morning! Here you go….you have asked my for a video on how I do the water-coloring and the highlighting of Sahara Sand….so grab the popcorn and watch this video….(be easy on me….I am trying)
I really, really adore this single stamp – a true blue keeper in my eyes! I was a SILLY SUSAN again 🙂 as I wanted to also tie this in with the Pals Paper Art Challenge….it is a color challenge and below you will see the colors….(I did it – might be hard to see….the dots in the DSP are pool party and the ink I used was daffodil delight)
I hope that you will pop over to see what is going on over there this week…the designers did a fantastic job….always inspiration to the max!

This is truly my kind of card…clean…simple…yet FUN! The sky is the limit with the colors and also the total feel of the card by changing up a sentiment here and there! This is a notecard size….love the convenience and also the price! 🙂
I had a ball making this card and I was serious….I think that I made 25+ of them. I am finally getting caught up on notes that I needed to write and I thought that this was a great card to make up int he masses and send a super sweet card!
I love it, what do you think? You can see that I am keeping true to USING UP THAT DSP …..because we have some BEAUTIFUL papers coming our way before you know it and YEP – I will be doing a product share….
Here is the 411 on the card so you can file away! If you are new to my blog…WELCOME and I hope that you subscribe to my blog so you do not miss a dose of fun and inspiration! I am going to try to be putting more videos out so also…please share my videos and if there is something that you would like me to do a video on….please let me know!
Loved your comments yesterday….it seems like Daisy needs to make an appearance . I must say (and I am not being mean as I adore her) but she is not looking to good right now. Pigs shed their hair once a year and she is going through and (awkward time – notice I did not say she looks ugly) as in my eyes…she is the most beautiful pig in the whole wide world!
I’ll work on it…I also have a great series of pictures to share with you with the dogs and a bone….it is tooooooo darn cute!
Continue to have fun with the retired products…there are some keepers. Remember, with an order of 35.00 + I will send you a beautiful handmade card that I water colored and with a 75.00+ I will love to send you an aqua painter as I showcased in the video as well as the card!
I hope that you enjoyed the video and please feel free to email me if I can be of help! Have a fabulous day and until tomorrow…

Loved this card AND your video. Coming home directly after work to make one myself. Or maybe 25! I start each and every day with an email/ blog post from you and I feel like you are a dear friend! Maybe we will get to meet at an Onstage Local event this year. I looked for you in Baltimore last year but never spotted you! Have a great day, Susan!
I took a sneak peek at your post (Caleb will kill me b/c he is still asleep)…and I am seriously laughing because yesterday I cut my paper and stamped the images to make a dozen cards nearly identical to these. I am having surgery this next Thurs (28th)–and it’s a surgery I’ve been dreading–so I decided I’m going to plan ahead with some fun Stampin projects to do while I’m recovering. I’m saving the fun assembling and painting to do later, although my painting might not be so great while on drugs. LOL. I haven’t watched your video yet; I’ll wait to watch it when Caleb gets up, but I’m anxious to see it!
I am so glad that you will be doing more videos . Love your Sahara Sand shading on your little vases . Sorry I missed John`s BD congrats ….kept having problems getting into your site . So happy belated birthday to John !
Love this card and video! I felt like I was right next to you being a good student, listening and absorbing all the tricks and tips! Tricia…I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
Dear Susan, Ilove your card and your great video. You always make all of us feel like you are sitting right in our home, and teaching us great tricks. Happy Birthday to John. Good luck on your surgery . I just had hand surgery a few weeks ago. I will keep you in my prayers. Ellen Hinds
I just knew it had to be those little vases! Great job as always on the cards and video! Another thing for my TO DO :LIST….stamp some designs for paper piercing and then cut them out while watching TV! Plus, get that darn Sahara Sand ink pad – I keep forgetting! Oh, that is two things! Whatever. The video was just like being there in person, I love that! When I first saw the colors I thought, ummmm but your final cards were sensational – or should I say scentsational? I can almost smell those little hyacinth’s done in the wisteria wonder color and we have some in the yard! I don’t know if they have any scent to them as I can’t smell anything with my cold anyway. I could just see my neighbor watching with my butt up in the air and nose to the ground trying to get a whiff of them without getting in the mud to cut one to check it out!
Maybe Daisy could wear a wig until her hair comes back in? Well, maybe some clothes or a pretty bow around her neck or tail?
Well wishes, speedy recovery, and prayers to Tricia and Ellen. Have a great weekend everybody!
Hi! I’m still thinking of getting this stamp…I’ll have to study the new catty first. Speedy recoveries to all.
🙂
Fun watercoloring..great job! You always do a great job with paper snipping!

Simply lovely card, Susan. I will also miss this stamp set, it has been a lot of fun to play with. Thank you for making me think of pulling it out again. The way you used this week’s colors really work so nicely with these vases and the dsp we all need to clear through.
