Good Morning! This is such a strange time of the year for us…CHANGE….I know…I know – we all do not like to embrace change ~ but change is just a part of life!
This weekend I am showcasing some of my all time favorite stamps that are walking the plank! It’s ok as they will be available for a while so I say….if you like them…then go for it! We all know that it comes down to what you like…what your style is….basically, what makes you roll!
I have blogged about this stamp set before…and when I have been going down “memory lane”.….(I just love that lane)…I saw this stamp set, Pictogram Punches…and I knew that I had to make it center stage for you! Well….do you like it????
The other star stamp set that I used was Six Sided Sampler..another true blue! We have so many true blue’s that it is hard to showcase them all…but trust me, you will love the new catalog!
This is a clean and simple “Susan card” and again, I am USING UP MY DSP……how about YOU?????? This has been a fun challenge for me to do and I am feeling’ good about clearing’ out my DSP!
Remember a tip that I have shared with you….when you layer like this….always stamp the image 1st and then add the one that you stamped and POPPED out with the the coordinating punch…..this make it look so fun!
How about those pearls….they truly are a girls best friend! Little accents like this are truly the icing on the cake!
Me beloved envelope…to me it is the 1st impression to set the tone of the card and I highly encourage you to take a bit of “extra time” to do the same…the way that I look at it is…you will smile and the mailman will smile…..and then the recipient of the card will smile –
I ask you…HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG?
I do hope that you will pop back tomorrow to see how I changed it up a bit…and then you can decide….which one you like! Below you will see your 3 friends (the shopping links for the sale) and then the products I used for today’s card!
Have a fabulous day and I cannot wait to see how you like tomorrows card….(now don’t get too excited)…but I think that it will make you happy, and if you are happy….I AM HAPPY!
Until tomorrow! 🙂

I ADORE this card – You went above and beyond on this one and you ROCKED IT!
Wowzers! This card is really great….the color combo and layout are perfect! p.s. I really like it too!
Stunning card, Susan. The colors, the simplicity and the pearls all make it so pretty.
I’m lovin’ today’s card. I let out an audible sigh when I saw Pictogram Punches on the Retired List; Stampin’ Up can retire the stamp set but I never will! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s card will bring. Happy Saturday!
I really like it too! Nice colors. TFS
Sweet card. Sorry to see this set go. It’s so classically simple.
I had to smile as you talk about change on a post where you do a 2 day change up! So rich and colorful. Poor Cherry Cobbler has not been featured on many cards lately not even at Christmas. Looking forward to tomorrow’s version, I wonder what that will be?
Speaking of smiling, you should have seen me trying to do a two stamp leaf yesterday and then fussy cutting it out! I cut it out but nothing probably like it should have been. Oh Nancy, I had a cataract removed but there is a big story that I won’t bore you with going from migraines to a tumor to legal blindness etc. which all turned into a 2 month nightmare. I don’t think the word “Easy” is in my vocabulary! Anyway, I had to get that darn card in the mail yesterday and most of the card was made a month ago but I knew it needed just something – the darn leaves. So, I was going from the good open to using my one lens glasses to a magnifier and all kinds of tricks! Nobody probably gave a darn about the leaves but I felt they needed to be there! I will have the other eye done 5/4 but at least it won’t be such a dramatic time for me. I also quit my job too.
Oh Chris I will certainly remember you on May 4th! You sound like you have a great attitude. Thank God we have SU to keep us together! 🙂
P.S. I’m on face book . . . Nancy Farrell 🙂 you can look me up.
It is always “fun” to have an autoimmune disorder – you just never know what is going to happen next – sort of like a box of chocolates! I think all should calm down since one of the biggest stressors in my life has been eliminated – my job. The place was full of people who loved to “BULLY” people, esp. me as well as some of our customers. Plus the environmental hazards of all that mold. The anesthesiologist spent a lot of time talking with me and did a wonderful job. He even called the next day to see how I was doing which totally surprised me. Facebook, ummm maybe. Thanks again for all your wonderful comments, thoughts and prayers!
DEar Susan, Your card is so pretty. I love the simplicity of this card. Thank you for sharing your great talent with all of us. Hugs, Ellen Hinds
Dear Susan, Please allow me to send a note to Chris R. From Iowa. Chris, I am so sorry about all of your troubles. You are in my prayers. I truly hope and pray that God will walk with you and hold your hands and your eyes. I hope you will be fully recovered with lots of prayers going your way. Good luck on the next surgery. God Bless You, Ellen Hinds
Boy, I love going back and reading all these comments! Sorry Susan, sometimes it is all about me! Just kidding! Thank you Ellen for all your kind thoughts, words, and prayers. I know I am in good hands. I feel like I have the best friends through Susan’s blog! Thanks everybody!
Hi Susan, oh my favorite colors. So crisp and clean. Love the card. Can’t wait to see what you do tomorrow.
🙂
Love this card with its happy polka dots. So crisp and wonderful. Again I don’t see how you can improve upon it, but I know you will magically do so.
