Shhhhhh….I am trying to keep it a secret from the “Mr. Frog” that we have loved and will continue to live as he is carried over in the new catalog but LOOK…..he has a cousin! The minute I saw this I know that it was coming to Randall Lane!
Now lets chitty chat about this AMAZING square background – don’t you LOVE IT? I ask you…why in the heck have I not used it before? I adore it and as I was separating my stamps that are going to be retired, I took another look at this and said…..pull them out – grab the ink and go to town! (It will not be leaving me as I love this style of card and I also love the dream big sentiment)
You really do not need me for this card but I do have a tip for you and one that I have share before when you make a card like this. Because I used a 1″ punch for the FUN of this card…I like to work off of a “base” and adhere the squares to that to make it easier for me to line up…and then I add this to the 4 1/2″ Square Base. Hopefully this makes sense to you….it is a technique that I use often and one that I love – clean and simple!
Isn’t he just adorable? This is a hostess stamp set and trust me….with the new catalog coming out – you are going to have no problem either having your own cyber event (I’ll be glad to get you a hostess code) or if your order is $150+ you can earn your own rewards….and this stamp set is just $9.00.
The other part of this card that I want you to check out is the Square Framelits. I am OVER THE MOON with what they did – the collection of framelits consists of both square and scallops dies that build on one another….there are 19 in total – so you can see that there are many ways to mix and match!
One more look at this little dear frog. He will be making lots of appearances on my blog and I also hope that he will find a way to hop to your house! To me, this is a SMILE card – you just can’t help to smile when you see it and I love the new In Color, Emerald Envy..
Please do not forget about our 3 Amigos…they have been chatting too….saying that the bye-bye list is selling out – make sure that you pop in to see if there are any deals that you just cannot live without! Remember to use the hostess code at the top right of the blog to receive your goodie from me!
I almost forgot….the WINNER – WINNER CHICKEN DINNER of the exclusive Stamp Set from the April Paper Pumpkin…..the winner was JUDY PALMER!!! Woot-Woot to you and it will be in the mail today with your Catalog….get ready to have a GREAT weekend in your NEW HOME looking at the catalog and getting inky with your new stamp!
(The best thing was Judy gave a 1 month subscription to a friend for a Birthday Gift – isn’t this a great gift? She can pay for it and Stampin’ up! ships it directly to her….as she lives across the country) Please keep this fun kit in your “memory” to give as a gift – how can you go wrong for $20.00 🙂

I absolutely adore this card and the emerald green color – Oh. My. Head! Super cute and thanks for your daily inspiration!
Thanks Deb… it is a SUPER easy one to make! Try it….you’ll like it!
This is really cute, Susan. Sorry for my absence. I had my surgery two weeks ago…it turned from a 7-hour operation into a 10-hour one because they had to do more bone grafting than expected. (the surgery was to repair damage to my jaw/face caused by a car accident 20 years ago). Caleb has brought the iPad to me each morning to see your daily card but I’ve really missed being able to read your daily blog posts. I’m hoping I’ll be able to do that soon. For right now the computer screen is a bit to hard to focus on for long. I’m not posting all this to complain or anything of the sort, rather, I know we have all become cyber friends and I wonder where others are when there is an absence from one of your “regulars.” I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day!
Oh wow, wishing you a speedy recovery with excellent results. I think Susan better send you this card! I have my frog card by the TV so I can see it a lot and it makes me smile. I hope you had a great Mother’s Day – sounds like Caleb did his part bringing the IPad so you could check out Susan’s blog posts and cards. So, glad you let us know as I was wondering if you were just busy or something. Cyber hugs to you and well wishes.
You read my mind…..Mr. new Frog is on his way to our dear Tricia along with a special book that I know will bring her joy!
Our dear Tricia…we are ALL so glad to hear from you and you are right, we are one big cyber family of friends. All of us are with you and I am sure that we are on same page that we wish that we could be there and do something for you….you are in GREAT hands with Caleb and Dan…you are blessed to have bother of them and please rest and let your body heal.
I wish that we did not live so far away from each other because of so – I would be there to cook, clean, make you smile….just “be there” for you…..PLEASE KNOW that we are ALL with you….Hugs my friend!
Tricia, I wish you well and will keep you in my prayers for a gentle recovery. I am sure Caleb is taking good care of you. Susan, I absolutely love this card, color and frog! Can’t wait for the catalog!
Hello my Sheep Herder – You might get lucky and receive your catalog today!!!! Get ready to order pizza out because Mart Ann is not cooking – she needs to look at the NEW CATALOG!
Healing wishes to you Tricia ! Big smile to your Caleb too !
Susan ! I love “squares” cards and this one is too cute ! This stamp set has a lot of cute critters and I plan to get it ! I also like the new green …. it is my favorite …. I think .. . .
I am with you…LOVE this green…but then the Dapper Denim….and then there is Flirty Falmingo – YIKES – too many fun colors!
I have mixed feelings about this set. Theres something I don’t like about it but not sure what. I LOVE the color and the patterns / layout of this card tho. Maybe the frog just needs to look happier??
Oh Pam….our new little friend needed to sneak in for a debut and I know that he is pretty “plain jane” but the other Mr. Frog told be to just put him on with no frills….I will jazz him up and I am sure he will make your heart pitter-patter!!!!
Tricia, glad you are in recovery mode. Hope you are feeling better every day!
For as long as I have been making cards, I have never made a card of squares! I am inspired…..I really like this card. Without your explanation, I would have guessed the pattern was stamped all on the same sheet!! So glad for your tips, Susan!
YEAH…..I am glad that the explanation worked for you – I knew that many of you would think that it was a hard one to do but you can see how EASY it is – I cannot believe that I had not used these stamps in this set before….you bet it will not be the last! Thanks for popping in.
This is another cute frog! I love the squares and the new Emerald Envy. They make a very cute card and the added details on the envelope as very fun.
Tricia, I wish you a smooth recovery and will keep you in my prayers. I know it makes your day to see Susan’s creative, fun cards. Caleb is a dear to make that happen for you. Take care of yourself.
Thanks HJ for the comment and I am so glad that you like this new in color – I adore it! One thing that is for sure….Tricia had the BEST nurse in the whole wide world….Caleb is a very special boy….I keep his picture at my work area and smile every time I see it.
The envelope is so fun! I wasn’t sure if you had stamped the pattern or had punched out the 1″ squares. Thanks for letting us know how you did it. Having a hand held 1″ square punch would make it easier than using the Big Shot. Maybe I had better see if I still have that punch and if not, see if it is still available. I made one using the trimmer and it just wasn’t the best as a few of my cuts were a bit off. Cousin frog just needs some accessories or something to give him personality. Maybe we need to name him? Anyway, a fun card and love the patterns.
Wishing Tricia well wishes and a speedy and good recovery!
I agree….a punch makes this super quick and I can remember years ago trying to cut with a trimmer and mine were ALL WONKY!!!!
I love the idea of naming the new Mr. Frog…..I’ll do a post on that! Thanks for the great idea!
Whoa! I’m a winner! That’s so exciting!!! And it makes my day since I woke up with a cold. I’m glad I could send that Paper Pumpkin to Helen for her Bday. I know she loves Stampin’ Up but I know she buys her own, so how to get her something she doesn’t have? Ah… yeah for paper pumpkin!
I thought those squares were designer paper but I see that you STAMPED them. That’s patience right there. I think the froggie looks a bit pensive. The thought balloon with “you” is good for him.
YEAH FOR YOU!!!! It is on the way to your new home but I am sure when you get the mail – you will care less about that stamp and GO FOR THE NEW CATALOG!!!
I thought you all were going to love the squares – HOW EASY IS THIS STAMP!!!! Just stamp and POP out with a punch – easy-peasy….just like I like it!
Oh so cute. I knew you would love this little frog, Susan, as soon as I saw it. Love these square layouts too. Have you heard from the gal who was having surgery on 05/04/16? I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name.
🙂
Hi Nancy….you are sooooo right, this guy was on of the TOPS on my list – he is so darn cute, the “other” Mr. Frog is a bit jealous so he has asked him to be on another shelf in my work area!
