Happy Monday! Yesterday afternoon I sat and worked on product shares and as I wrapped and wrapped ribbon I decided to watch some videos on You Tube to pass the time away. It was fun, super fun!
First I ask you – Do you subscribe to Stampin’ Ups! You Tube Channel? If not, I highly recommend that you do so as there are some GREAT and super short videos that will give you a spotlight on a new product…I watched a BUNCH yesterday and I was super impressed with them and the best part – I learned something! Click here to see the channel and then I would subscribe to it so whenever Stampin’ Up! has a new video, you will get a reminder…. 🙂
The next question for you….you know that I am SIMPLE SUSAN….but the trend is and has been shaker cards – with Stampin’ Ups! new Foam Adhesive Strips…Would you like to see me blog about Shaker Cards? Please give me some feedback and if it is a YES – I will do my best to GO FOR IT!
Here is a video from the Stampin’ Up! office about Shaker Cards…it is a great snap shot of the ins and outs of making a shaker card! This thin strip of foam adhesive will be a life saver in making this technique.
I LOVED the comments from yesterday and I am so happy that you LOVED the inspiration from Lisa – you see….this is THE BEST THING about Stampin’ Up!…learning, sharing and growing…together ~ and oops….the most important part…the friendships and genuine care we have for one another….even if we can not be together, thank goodness for the internet!
Enjoy the day!

I haven’t subscribed to the channel, but I’m hooked into it now because of you! I made 2 shaker cards, and they are so much fun to create and to play with! You know how happy you are when you see the embossing powder melt and give your card that extra shine? Well, you will undoubtedly be as happy to shake your card and know that it was created by You! I’d love to see you give it a try~
Hello Susan,
I would love to see you make a shaker card, please will you very soon x
Yes please!
I love the SU YouTube videos! So informative! I have made a few shaker cards at a class and I always seem to have a problem with the jiggly inside stuff sticking to the foam strips when I put down the plastic cover (static). I would love to see your take on making one and all your helpful hints. Hugs!
Yes, a video on shakers would be great. I have the foam adhesive strips on my list for my next order. I think they will be great for a variety of projects. Have a great Monday.
I would really love it if you made shaker cards! Your directions are always so clear and puts me at ease that I can do this!!!
Yes, please!
Yes ! I would love to see a Susan Shaker ! Shaker cards are tricky ,but so much fun .
Waiting in anticipation and a lot of YAYS !
Yes, please! I already purchased the new foam tape, but would love a card tutorial from you to case. Thank you for asking!
I follow Stampin Up on YouTube. Lots of great information. Will be looking forward to see what you make your shaker card with.
It can still be a simple card with a shaker fun to it, so I’d love to see your spin on one (some!). Your explanations are always so clear and the new dimensional strips should make it easy. Can’t wait to see!
YES! Totally love your cards….can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I would love to see you make a shaker card! Thanks for wanting our feedback!
I love, love, love shaker cards so it would be great to see what you come up with. I’m very happy SU has the foam strips in the new catty, they are hard to find locally.
Yes, Susan I would love to see a shaker card video . You are the best . I have a question for you, in the videos from Stampon Up how do you subscribe to them. I do it see a place to press to subscribe. Thank you ,Ellen Hinds
First off I’ve not seen the SU YouTube channel and I’ll be sure to check it out. One thing I love, absolutely adore, about SU is that there are so many resources for ideas, tutorials and videos!!!! You should never be stumped for ideas.
Second, yes! I would love to see you do a shaker card. That’s because you are Simple Susan and any shaker card you did would be simple and to the point. It wouldn’t be so outlandish to be ridiculous (sorry to all the ornate shaker card people out there).
Would love to see you do a shaker card. Always enjoy seeing them and just about to get brave and make one myself.
PS… am I the only one who keeps thinking the new color is “Filthy Flamingo” instead of a Flirty one? Dang!
I have some of the new tape that I won from Rae Harper and I have been looking for something fun and interesting to put in the shaker cards. I am bored with sequins. But, one of these days I will shake my booty and get started and keep shaking until the card is done! The tape seems the best way to make them in my opinion. So, heck yes, I would love to see you make one. I still have some of the stuff from the Paper Pumpkin ones I can always make. I don’t subscribe to the SU channel but have seen several of their videos and such. When, I tried to subscribe it said Mike was the only one on our computer who could subscribe to videos. About the time I interfere – well, my booty will be shaking out the door! Just kidding!
Although shaker cards are out of my comfort zone, I’m sure whatever you do will be great! Looking forward to learning a new technique.
Oh, yes please. I think shaker cards are so fun but I have been intimidated by them. I would love to give it a try with you you. You always make hard things easy
Hi Susan, I know this was yesterday’s post, but I would love to see you do a shaker card. I am a subscriber to the SU You Tube. Every now and then . . . we need a super stepped up card. I think I have only made one.
🙂
I have a request — I think I must be super slow at understanding, but this card of Lisa Poe’s is SOOOO cute and for the life of me I can’t seem to get it to work out. Would you consider doing a video on it? There is a possibility I am not the only “dumb” one here. And if I am, well, that’s OK. I still would like to see it actually being done! And yes, I answered before but I would LOVE to see a shaker card video too.
thanks
