Happy Thursday to all and you know what Thursdays are for me….it a PPA Day and this week we have a fabulous color challenge that my sweet and super talented friend, Michelle Gleeson came up with ! These 3 colors together are fantastic – (just like her) I wanted to make a card that “looked like her style” and this gem is on the way to her!
Check out these colors and then please make sure that you go to the Pals Paper Art Site and see what all of the other designers came up with. There are some BEAUTIES….I just think that it is so fun to see all of the different ideas that come from the same color palette!
Do you know where this stamp came from??? PAPER PUMPKIN AUGUST 2016!!! YEP, I thought out of the box and I have a treat for you tomorrow to go even DEEPER with this kit and YOU will have the chance to not only win THIS card (I made many as it was sooooooo fun to make) and also some others that I used with the kit!
Here is the image of the Stamp Set this month! Honestly, when I first saw the stamp that I used for this card…..I did not like it…actually not one bit but then I was determined to try it and guess what?
Not only do I like it…..I LOVE IT!!!
I just love these colors together…so beautiful, so classic…just like Michelle and I know that she will love this card! The envelope punch board was the smile maker and the perfect finishing touch to this 4 1/4″ square card! Don’t you love the Dapper Denim DSP? This is from the paper stacks and remember, these are offered in my product share (share #3) and they are always a hit…..I know that if you were to purchase these a la carte – your piggy bank would be sad!
Here is your 411-Directory Assistance Photo for you to hover over and Pin. I hope that this shows you that it can be done….to take “what is suggested to do in the kit” – and make it something totally different! This is why the Paper Pumpkin Program works!
Please remember, POP back tomorrow and you could win some BLOG CANDY….I have something FUN planed for you all for just coming in…..seeing what I am up to and then leaving me a comment! I know that we all have mixed thoughts and feelings about the Paper Pumpkin Program, I was determined to make it work for me this month!
See you tomorrow…..but in the meantime….how do you like this card – I would love to hear your thoughts with a comment. Water-coloring is fun and the Aqua Painter makes is easy to feel like Picasso….we all are Picasso’s!

Susan, I love it! Yes it is me and it truly made me smile. I love your blog and look forward to reading it every morning with my cup of joe before heading off to work. Have a fabulous day my friend.
YOU MAKE ME SMILE! It is a pleasure to have coffee with you…and I am looking forward to have a REAL CUP OF COFFEE with you in Atlanta! Great color combo…thanks!
Susan, love the card and the stamp from this month’s PP. It’s so easy to use, but I haven’t colored it yet! Will definitely be trying it soon … thank you to you and to Michelle❤️
When I saw the stamp set….I was scratching my head a bit as I thought that we had many sentiments like it – my favorite it the BIG ONE….you will see that tomorrow…..please pop back!
I love your card design Susan! I also like the size – another “outside the box” idea. Thank you for sharing your talent and so much of yourself!
This made me smile and I appreciate your comment, I have been feeling in a “stamping rut” and this means a bunch! We all just have to keep trying…keep spreading our passion and have fun! I adore Micelle and I knew that I wanted to create a card that made me think of her….

You card looks Amazing, Susan! I’m loving what you came up with…the placement of the stamp in the 4 corners is a marvelous idea~ Your sentiment really shines! Just think how nice this would be as an autumn card using darker, more vibrant colors. The possibilities are endless! Kudos to you for giving this a try~
I totally agree – When you pop back tomorrow you will read my confessions about this stamp….then I decided to take the “bull by the horn” and make it mine! LOVE the idea for Fall!!!

Such a beautiful card today Susan! The Paper Pumpkin images are so pretty for Sept. And what’s not to like about these colors? I am in love with So Saffron. It is just the prettiest and most soft yellow I think. It is my ‘go to’ yellow almost always. Thanks for such great inspiration.
I recognized the stamp right off the bat which is pretty darn good for me! Love the colors she picked out for the sketch and your coloring is always the best! Love the mats on the card and the cute envelope with it’s dots. I am really having a good time with the Paper Pumpkin kits looking at all the alternatives. This month’s is just a riot of color and so fun to play with. Looking forward to blog candy tomorrow. Well heck, I look forward to your blog everyday even without the blog candy!
