Happy Labor Day!
I bet that you are wondering – “What the heck is up with that subject line” and if I were you I would be thinking the same thing!
I am taking the “creative day off” to enjoy the day but I have been just ” itchin’ “ to share these videos with you… Stampin’ Up! teased the Demonstrators with these 3 videos (one everyday) to get us excited to see the Holiday Catalog!
I thought that it was a clever way to introduce the catalog to us before FINALLY getting to see it in its entirety! They are cute….( trust me, it is a good thing they do it right with making stamps as no best movie award will be given) but I do think that it was a clever way to get us excited!
Enjoy, I am sure that Chris R. will have a comment for us that will never make us not think of her the next time we see a gnome! See you tomorrow with some Tuesday Tips!
Enjoy the holiday!

Yes, enjoy your Labor Day (and family).
🙂
Very cute and enticing videos. I especially liked the beautiful doilies/scarves in the display tray. Make gnome mistake….Chris R. will be funny! Happy Labor Day everyone!
Happy Labor Day to everyone!!!!! Enjoy your blessings. ?
Susan, What a great way tohave a preview of the catalog. I like all three videos. Those Gmomes get into a lot of mischief. I hope you have a great day today. The catalog is a great one. Thank You,Susan,Hugs, b Ellen Hinds
Oh man, the heat is on I have been asked to comment. Gnomes, nobody knows the trouble they can cause. Whatever. First of all, they need help in their endeavors. I suggest they get in contact with the gnome on the Travelocity commercials. He seems to get around a lot and he definitely can find them a speech therapist. I couldn’t even understand the little devils. Heck, munchkins are easier to understand! They just want to see the goodies from the catalog, they don’t seem to want to mix up or mess with anything. I would suggest they come in with the UPS man or Fed Ex guys and check out the shipping dept. They could hop on his 2 wheeled cart when he comes to cart away the packages for shipping. They can look at what all is being packed. Hopefully, they won’t think someone needs different products that what they ordered. They seemed to be cool with that and just wanting to look the stuff over. In the one video they could easily pop up on the back of the couch and eyeball that suite of things. They really screwed up by lying in the display tray covered up with the lacey scarf. How could they see through that, that was a really dumb move on their part. Really, the woman didn’t need to just toss them either – that might cause them to act up – I know it would make me want to act up! They needed to visit demo support maybe. If their speech was more understandable they could call on the phone and ask about something about a product and maybe the support person would have the product out and looking at it as they talked. Like measurements etc. Man, they need to use their imaginations better. The photo shoot had promise but they could have gone about that differently too. Maybe stand out of the photo? DUh! I think they need to map out the building and make their plans for seeing the spring mini and the Saleabration catalogs before they come out. It looks like it might take them awhile to do this as they didn’t seem too organized in their planning. Personally, I think they need to make friends with the demonstrator people in the videos and then they could hang out in their studios and watch them create etc. They could steal some cookies to bring as a present – that would work wonders. Everyone would like a good gnome to sit on their shoulder I would think.
As far as the videos – well, no award winners there but they meant well. I think the title Mission Impossible was just too much for the little guys too. One would think there would have been a little more action involved. Maybe they could get the Travelocity Gnome to take on more of a James Bond mode or better yet, get the Pink Panther involved. Then they could even see the stamp sets in French with Inspector Clueso (spelling) involved. They just need a little help. Maybe the camel on Wednesdays to get people’s attention so they can get into the products to see them. But, if all else, they need to just find a demo and be their lawn ornaments and check all the goodies out then. Then again maybe they could get McGuyver to help if they haven’t filmed all the shows for the new year.
Speaking of such, I need to go over to my local demo’s house and pick up my order and the new catalog. Ted is looking for a new BFF so the gnomes could come to our house if they behave! Maybe that is one of my problems – I have a mischievous one who keeps moving stuff around so I can’t get organized in my craft room!
