Happy BOO day to you and for all that have little ones, have a fun and safe trick -n-treat!
WOW, I have AMAZING memories of being a child and going to have fun with my siblings and then coming home and dumping out the loot and swapping back and forth with candies!
I know that many children do not get to enjoy the fun that we had ourselves and that makes me sad. My memories were always handmade costumes that were FUN.
Yesterday, my new friend from Canada and I went to an adorable town called Georgetown TX while we were on our way back to Austin….One word for this town = ADORABLE!!!!
They were as a community having a safe trick -n-treat and it was FABULOUS to see so many adorable costumes and parents having good old fashion fun with their kids…this just made my day!
Just a reminder, today is the LAST day that you can take advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free DSP SALE! You can click on the image below to see the offerings!
The past 24 hours have been a pack up and move to a new destination and truthfully, my time and internet have been minimal….so in advance, sorry for this short post.
Still having a BLAST and tomorrow I will have more parade of beauties for you! Living out of a suitcase is challenging….but I love a challenge, especially when you meet new people and create new friendships!

I was just thinking about trick or treating today. I remember the last ToT I did in Ohio before we moved. It was a gorgeous day and only slightly chilly night. ToT in Ohio can be tricky as sometimes we had to wear our winter coats. Anyway I was feeling bad that kids don’t know ToT like I knew it. So fun! I live in a neighborhood now so hubby is hopeful we’ll get some trick or treaters. I suspect we won’t but have a few if that.
We stopped in Georgetown one time for lunch (I am pretty sure) going to or from Austin when we lived in Houston. We had a book on day trips and they talked about the court house and Mike decided we needed to stop and see it and have lunch. I think we were going to Round Rock or somewhere close to there too. Love the Devil Dog! Continue to have a great time! Be safe! Looking forward to more great swap cards!
Happy Halloween! My mom had made me a bunny costume when I was a kid. Complete with a rabbit ear hat. It was made to be worn over clothes which was a good thing because Halloween was usually cold. It got many uses because after I grew out of it, my brother wore it.
Susan reading about your trip through Georgetown on your way to Austin I couldn’t help but ask if you happened to eat at the Monument Cafe (I think that’s the name of it)? My son and his family live in Austin right around Round Rock. They took me to that Cafe on one of my trips there (I live in Utah) and I LOVED IT! Do you live in Austin?
Glad you are having so much fun. I’m looking forward to another parade of great cards.
Sounds like you are really enjoying yourself! Have fun and soak up all the “smiles” you can!
Susan, Your trip sounds great. Is this a stamping up trip. Your Trick or Treat with the community sounds wonderful. Great memories for everyone. Looking forward to your next parade of cards. Both parades so fear have been wonderful. Such great talent out there. Have a save trip home. Hugs, Ellen Hinds
I’m so glad to hear that you’ve been having a great time! It has been quite a fun Halloween day here! Looking forward to seeing more beautiful cards tomorrow. Happy Halloween everyone!
