This is so exciting when we have a card swap. I admit “HANDS DOWN” that I get as excited as you do because it is always fun to see others ideas and inspiration from people ALL OVER our wonderful country!
Just a couple of “Housekeeping Tips” for you….If you do not see your card here today….PLEASE DO NOT WORRY as I will be having several posts showcasing your cards. I guess that you will just have to keep popping back to see YOUR beauty on the blog.
I did my best to take photos for you and edit them…there might be some cards that I feel the necessity to take more than one picture…why???? Details, angles of placement etc….if you only have 1 picture, please do not be sad – I LOVE and SUPPORT everyone’s work…
Before we get to the cards for today, the LAST housekeeping comment” – Please, please “leave some love” with a comment to these people that have shared their talent. I am always so incredibly proud of each and every one of you.Thank you for participating in the card swap!
Remember, I am in the middle of no where so I will do my best to be back to you tomorrow. I am away for a while as after this is On Stage so it was a juggling act to get my ducks in a row for my blog!
LOVE the way that you stamped on the inside… this is something that I rarely show you guys as I seem to leave mine blank until I get ready to send it – SUPER FUN and I am happy that you are “NICE”
Clean, crisp and classic! This is my kind of card and I need to share…this card was made by a special person…”Margie…aka “Auntie “M” to me was a past Creative Memories person. She was one that I knew I could call at 5:30 in the morning as we are both early birds!
O.k. – is this cute or WHAT!!!! Lisa….you did it again – one super adorable card! I definitely feel a CASE coming on with this one. Just too darn clever how you cut the zig zag strips. This is a great example of how using multiple DSP prints work!
What an elegant Christmas Card. There is something stamped on the inside but I just had to take another picture to share with you the details and layers. The bow, ovals, the embossing – just wonderful
Is this super clever or what!!!! This is a 3 1/2″ square card and who would have thought to add this swirly top to the present!!! I cannot wait to try this myself. The shape is perfect for a present. Toni….please email me your address as I did not seem to find a return envelope for you. Just love your card and am excited to give it a try!
Great job ladies….a HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE!!!! I am looking so forward to my time today….learning, laughing and meeting new friends, life is wonderful!
And so it begins…what a beautiful parade of cards to kick off the holiday season. Some wonderful ideas ladies and you’ve set the bar pretty high!
I enjoyed scrolling through the parade of cards so much this morning! What a sweet way to start my day! They are all so creative and fun~
Great job, ladies! Each and every one of the cards is fantastic and I could see myself CASEing them all.
These cards are all so amazing. I really do love the creative idea of adding the swirly flower to the top of the present card. Also like the DSP for that card front. Or is it stamped? Great cards!
Wow…what a parade! Beautiful cards and so much talent. All of them are so unique and full of love! Thanks, ladies!
Wow! Love these cards and all the different ideas!
Thank you ladies. What a fun parade of cards. Love them all.
These cards are fabulous. The fun use of DSP, embossing folders, flowers that become bows are SO creative. Can’t wait to see more. I agree, you set the bar high.
How creative and how fun!!!! Each card shows so much talent and creativity!!! Yes, I also agree that the bar is set high with these beautiful cards!!
What a parade of talent ! There are cards to CASE for sure !
I must comment on that adorable card by Lisa ! How cute ! Love the stitching look and the different squares !! PSST….LISA ….you have my address (hint hint )
Thanks Susan …..and looking forward to tomorrow !!
Have fun in the woods !
Oh, my gosh! These are super cards. I love ALL of them! I know there will be some CASING going on at my house. Hello to Sandy from Iowa – I was born and raised in Iowa so have sweet memories of the Midwest – and always enjoy “meeting” new friends from there.. in addition, I really like your crisp, bright, clean and simple card. Kathy, yes, the front of my card is DSP but is not SU. It was purchased long ago in one of those paper pads from a craft store. This card is easy to make and can be done for birthdays too. With the bow on top it becomes a large enough card to use a regular size envelope.
Love all the cards but my favorite is the red tree card. I was going to make something similar but I may have to rethink it. It has gotten my creative juices going.
So much fun seeing the different ideas. Each is quite distinct from the others. I love the contrast between the Merry and the background plaid. Very simple. This is fun stuff!
I had a hard time tearing Ted away from his adoring public uptown this morning. I wanted to get back to see the parade of beauties and what beauties they were! Each one was so special and I would love to CASE each one! As Mike would say (more like a holler than speaking) military style, “OUTSTANDING!” If these did not get our creative juices going, I don’t know what would! I even had a little bonus of my card from a previous swap showing in the related posts! Susan, I hope you are having a good time at your retreat and On Stage thing and learning lots of great things to teach and share with us! Have a safe trip home!
These cards are fabulous! Hope you are having fun at your retreat, Susan 🙂
Such amazing talent exhibited in today’s parade. I’m glad my card was already submitted because I’d be intimidated with these examples. Great job ladies!
I love all of these cards!!! Nice job, ladies!!
Kudos to everyone! I appreciate the creative talent and effort put into each and everyone of these beauties. Thanks for the shout out Sonny.
Each card is so beautiful, I can’t even begin to pick a favorite I like all of them. My card does not even compare to the work of art that went into these.
Good work ladies! Each of you did a beautiful job creating them.
Susan, I am embarrassed that I forgot to enclose a self addressed envelope with my card. My brain only works part time and I guess it wasn’t “on duty” when I sent out my card. I am really sorry. I will get one in the mail to you ASAP. (sitting in the dunce corner )
Fabulous cards! These make me want to jump right into Christmas card making.
