Good Morning! I am doing my best to keep my blog alive and hopping with inspiration while I am away! (Trust me….it is a challenge but one that I love to do for you!) We have some more inspiration for you to CASE away and I have to say….I simply pull out 5 cards….take the pictures and drool (I promise, not on them!) 🙂
Before we get to the cards today…I need to say that my heart was as BIG as the WORLD yesterday and trust me, an entire day post needs to be dedicated to Millie and Alyece as not only was it THE BEST….it was a life changer for me! As I share with Hannah on the phone….I can only hope and pray that you have a day like I had!
Now I ask you….does this bring back childhood memories?!?!?! This is just tooooooo cute! I admit, i have a hard time working with the sequins but I say – Jeanie ROCKED IT.….and then ~ look at that stairway….can we all say ADORABLE!!! Jeanie~ please leave a comment and let us know the tips and tricks!
O.k – my heart is pitter-pattering ~ this is just sooooo beautiful and peaceful! There is just no way that you can go wrong with this one! I admit that I forget about this embossing folder but you better believe that when I get home….“I’m PLAYING” – Mary Ann is a sweetie but can you imagine being a child and spelling the name of her town….????!!!!! Super and lovely card
Do you remember at the beginning of this post how I was soooooo happy to meet Millie and Alyece? Well – Ellen is another one that I have on my list to meet. To me, she is a special person…I just “feel it” and look at this card….so special. There is something so special and so classic about this beauty! I just love the embossing folder and the extra details with the ornaments…..how about YOU?
What a great card! This is a Christmas Classic and I will say that I am OVER THE MOON that this classic stamp set is 25% off…~ A true Christmas Classic! I apologize that the colors are “OFF” with the (2) pictures…but I think that you can clearly see that this card that Mary Ann created was a super fun and classic card! She clearly used so many clean and simple elements to say WOW – “I can do this”
Before we get to this beauty….I have a confession (and one that soooo many were surprised about over the weekend) – I do not own this stamp set and this is one that has been around for AGES…. ~ BUT……I did break down and order it after seeing this card and also playing with the stamp over the weekend! 🙂
Is this a beauty or what? Just beautiful with the yummy coloring but then I adore the (2) different ribbons….so clean, clever and classic!
As the saying goes…“there you go” – I hope that I have brighten your day! I am just soooooo in awe with the talent and sheer FUN that you all do! Way to go and THANKS!
I am on to road to Atlanta…..my clothes are all wrinkled…but my heart is full and happy~ until tomorrow! Please leave comments….some bloggin’ love, ask questions for the artist and HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Each day’s cards are just the best!! I love all of them for their cleverness and creativeness! TFS Have a lovely time, Susan.
I like these cards very much. They are all great. Funny, as I was flipping through the catalogs yesterday, I was thinking I didn’t have that tree stamp set and it is a classic and wonder if I should get it . . . and here it is on the next morning. Thank you Susan and Gaylen for enabling me!
Happy Hump Day!
🙂

May God Bless you,and all of your Stamper’s Hugs ,Ellen Hinds
Such joy this card swap has brought to us!!! Another round of beauties. Thanks to the artists and to you Susan for sharing them in such a delightful way. Travel safely!
These cards are gorgeous! It is so awesome to see all the talent and ideas coming from all different states. Way to go fellow card makers!
Another day of beautiful cards. I love them all. Thank you ladies.
These cards are simply wonderful. Love the technique used on Gaylen’s Thanksgiving card. Jeanie’s Christmas stockings are so adorable and so do-able. Love when that happens. Mary Ann has me puzzled as to how she achieved that fantastic effect of the great background between the the embossed trees. Will also have to check out the classic stamp sets of the ornaments and the pine cones that Mary Ann and Ellen used. Both cards are classical beauties. Another fun parade of ideas. So many creative ideas. Thanks Susan for getting this together.
How much fun is this ? Just look at all this creativity at work ! Great idea promoters for CASE-ing !
Thanks Susan !
Wow! Another great round of gorgeous cards. We had a hard time waking Caleb up for school this morning (the fun of Halloween has caught up to him) but when I brought the iPad in and started showing him the different cards he perked right up and started picking out details he liked on each one. Mary Ann H., your card reminds me of winter here in Wisconsin…so cold but SO beautiful. We live near LaCrosse, WI, so I’ll have to look up how far away we live from one another! Gaylen, thanks for reminding me that I need to pull out my stamp set and use it again…it was one of the first Stampin’ Up! sets I purchased and it’s still one of my favorites. Jeanie, love how you hung your stockings and the use of sequins. Ellen, your ornaments are simply gorgeous! Mary Ann E., I think I’m going to have to CASE your card! It’s always been a challenge for me to work with sequins (or other bling, for that matter) but I’m always amazed at what a nice finishing touch it makes. Whew…I’m surprised Susan doesn’t ban me from leaving comments on her blog since I’m always so long-winded. All the cards shown this past week have been amazing. Darn, I wish Caleb and I would’ve had the time to contribute to the swap. Maybe we’ll make them up now so we’re ready for next year’s swap!! 🙂
I love all the cards!
More cards to love!!! Gaylen, Lovely as a Tree was the first stamp set I ordered and I still love it to this day. Probably one of the most versatile stamp sets I own… I use it for many different cards. I love your background! Mary Ann E., we live so close we’re practically neighbors! Who knew!! I bought the framelits that goes with your stamps and am hoping I can CASE your card using those. So pretty! Ellen H., I love that meeting Susan is on your “bucket list”. I am honored to call her my friend and upline! Love your ornaments!!! May Ann H., I love the background with your embossed tress. So serene even though I wish we were heading in to summer, not winter! As for my card, glue dots are your friend! LOL Susan asked me to leave a tip…It is very easy to make just adding glue dots to hold sequins, ribbon bows, and twine on the back of the stockings. I featured this card on the PALS blog hop. Here is the link: https://juststampin.com/2016/09/14/j-is-for-jewels-for-the-pals-blog-hop/
Jeanie, I received your card and was thrilled! I had gone to your blog and couldn’t find any other way to reach you so I just wanted to thank you for such a lovely card with a lot of work put into it.

Every card is so nice. So many different ideas. I wish I could buy all the stamps and thinlits that I see used with so many of these cards.
I can’t believe you didn’t have Lovely as a Tree?! You shock me, Susan! I’m glad you’ve rectified this. I’m looking forward to making Christmas cards now that I’ve been so inspired. Your comment about the stockings card making you think of childhood made me think….. where did we hang the stockings? We had a fireplace but I don’t remember then by the mantle…. they weren’t off the stairs as we didn’t have a banister (just walls)… they were off the bookcases!
Susan, thank you and everyone for those kind comments about my card. I do love the set, Lovely as a Tree. That double ribbon thing was a mistake! It looked like the glue was oozing out to the top of the ribbon and I didn’t want it showing up when you pictured it! Also, next time, on the return address, I will be sure to put my name, not my husband Gaylen! He is not a card maker! haha
I am with Lora, I wish I could buy all the stamps and thinlits that everyone has used. All the cards are just so wonderful. I will be so happy with any card I get in return as there is not a bad one in the bunch! Darn, aren’t we good?!? Every card has been so special!
So many pretty cards. I love them ALL~ Looks like there was a good turnout for this swap, with quite a few cards. Mary Ann H I had to chuckle at Susan’s response about Oconomowoc. My aunt and her family lived there in the 50’s and it is such an easy word to spell. Just put an O in front of all the consonants. I think it may have been Lake LaBelle where we went swimming? I remember there was a park and the lake and a white gazebo. I was young enough that I only remember the fun things, not really much about the area. I remember going to the downtown to a consignment shop where my mom and her sister looked for clothes. LOL.
