Good Morning! I crawled back up in the saddle to do a post….(we still have more card swaps to view) but I thought that I would give you some good old fashion Simple Stampin’ Thank You Card! I brought lots of posts with me and I thought that you might like to see something that I made!
You can see that this is my kinda card, clean and simple and the polka dots embossing folder = INSTANT SMILE! 🙂 This is the type of card that you could easily make in the masses as it is a keeper!
I would wager to say that most of you do not own the below framelit. I personally do not do Project Life but I will say, this framelit gets a great workout in my studio! The shapes are perfect for so many sentiments that we have.
Look how simple this is…some good old basic shapes, a great sentiment, some classic fall leaves creates a simple yet so sweet card. I personally love using linen thread especially in the fall and the best tip I can give you for adhering bows…a simple glue dot!
Envelope love as usual and using the embossing folder piece is a perfect finishing touch. Darn I love my envelopes! I know that I have used this stamp set a bunch….and I never get tired of the font! The “thanks” is from Cottage Greetings and the leaves…the oh so classic Vintage leaves!
It felt GREAT to open up my suitcase and put clothes away…..(I figured being in one place for 4 days deserves a drawer) 🙂 This is going to be a super busy and FUN time in Atlanta….today I get to attend a training with the FABULOUS duo Brian and Nicole who are the masterminds of my blog (they are really my lifesavers as we all know I am not the best with technology)….
Friday – ALL DAY FUN with Brian King and his upline Pam Morris with a Card Making day of FUN and FABULOUS SPEAKERS…….
Saturday – On Stage – a Stampin’ Up! mini conventions….and yep, the NEW CATALOG unveiling….super fun but I also hope that this card was a super fun one for you today!
I was getting worried that I might forget how to do a regular blog post….remember, all the the products I used will be listed below and shopping in your jammies is FUN!
p.s. – don’t forget to order the SUPER HOT Stitched Framelits….they are flying out the door!!!!
Good Morning Susan, Just have the most wonderful, great, super weekend. I’ll be following along social media as much as I can. I love the circle EF too. The card is great, love the “Susan Look”.
🙂
Great card…..simple and elegant with a touch of warmth. I, too, love linen thread and that circle EF (any dots put a smile on my face). Brian King is a hoot! Enjoy your time with him and all those beautiful people! Stamp away and make some great memories!
Your card is great! I love the colors and the polka dot TEF. I know you’re going to enjoy your time in Atlanta…I can’t wait to hear about it! Here’s a little factoid for you: Brian King and I share the same birthday (the same month and day at least).
I love, love, love your card today! Have a GREAT time and bring back all sorts of ideas and fun!
Susan, this is a beautiful card!!
A simply beautiful card. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to hear more about your special time!
Back in the saddle again, indeed. What a fun and wonderful card! Sounds like you will have a great time learning and laughing a lot while in Atlanta! Oh darn, can you tell Brian I completely forgot about the cold hard cash in his package with the swap card. I hope my little goodies makes up for it. I was in such a hurry to mail it!
This is a particularly pretty card, Susan. I really like it!
a cool Susan card. I like how the leaves are subtly there and not the focal point, makes it more fun. I love your multi-looped bow. I wish I could master those.
Pretty as usual. Nice card to make a few to have on hand !
Hope you have a great time ! Pictures please !!
Great card, Susan. I love the “Susan” style. It is a very versatile design. Have great fun with Brian and gang. Can’t wait to get sneak peeks at new catalog and all the things you’ll learn.
