This is a card that can be whipped up in NO TIME at all! I had a call from a “peep” that was in need of a wedding card and I thought….hmmmmm wedding…wedding – and I was against the clock and POOF this is what I came up with in a jif!
It is all about having classic tools in your stash to make it “just work” when you are in need of a card! This framelit is one that I do not use a bunch but I do not think we will disagree, it is beautiful! (The stamp set is also a keeper but today I am just using the framlit!)
The BEST tip I can give you is to use Stick It on the back of your card stock. True, you can easily use mono glue and take your time but I think that you will agree that peeling off this release paper makes it SUPER EASY!
For those of you that do not purchase from Amazon, here are 2 other options other than Amazon. Click here and then Click here. I usually just show Amazon because so many of us can always find goodies to make it to the FREE SHIPPING!
You can see that this is 1 -2- 3Â putting it together and by having the adhesive already on the back of the intrigue die-cut….this goes very, VERY quickly. To me, there is just something classic about Very Vanilla – do you agree????? It just creates a softness, a warmth and sheer classic to the max!
The sentiment is from the new stamp set in the Occasion Catalog, it is part of a bundle and it is special….I have not even started blogging about this but you betcha that I will be. I love the font of the sentiment and that flower – WOW…a fun one to color with the aqua painters and/or the water color pencils!
Do you see those 2 flowers on either side of the sentiment? They are from the framelit…. if you look closely that you will see that the flowers are in there…and because there is already adhesive on the back – WHY NOT???? I think took the smallest hole punch that I could find and added a center to my flowers!
Well…thought? I was pleased with the amount of time that I had (little, very little) but it taught me that I need to play with it more! Another thing that I was super surprised about….using the Playful Palette DSP Stack to make the envelope have some love.
To me, this is a very modern paper collection but I think it worked out fine with the card. I am just always happy when we have a paper collection that matches up with Very Vanilla!
Have a great day….and if you have been like me, please keep our country in your thoughts and prayers with the Inauguration tomorrow. We live about an hour away from DC and there are plenty of signs as you drive towards the area about caution of backups and heavy traffic.
Until tomorrow…..you will CRACK UP!!!!

A perfect wedding card! The Very Vanilla looks so soft and elegant with this thinlit…..makes you feel that there is love in the air. Beautiful! ?
Thank my favorite sheep herder! It was a fast card to make and I thought that the WOW factor was there for a “quickie” !
Lovely card…..so many choices for color combinations. ?
Thanks Ann….very simplistic – just the way I like it! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. I hope that you will CASE this super simple card!
Ah, Susan you are enabling again! I had thought this bundle to frilly for me but I LOVE this card!!!! As for tomorrow, an hour on the other side of Washington, staying home and stamping. And yes, praying that all goes well for everyone tomorrow, my peep is in the middle of it at GWU.
Oh Ramsey….enabling you is sooooo much fun! You and I are totally on the same page with not being a frilly person…and I think that this is why I have not played with it a bunch but poor were we wrong!
I love this card with the little touches of Sweet Sugarplum. I may have to re-think getting this bundle.
I thought that the “peek of sugar plum” made the card look super special! This is one of those that you really need to see made up to appreciate the details!
Beautiful card. I too, will have to re-think about getting this bundle. TFS
I hear you and I think many have said the same thing. It would be one that will never leave your home as it always would be a classic!
Love this card.
Fingers crossed for Very Vanilla in heaven card stock when 2017/18 new catalogue comes out.
My fingers and my toes have been crossed! Hugs from Maryland….
This is a beautiful card. The new bride and groom will be delighted. Love the look of very vanilla. Your tone on tone is very elegant.
I thought that the trio sisters would like this!
Elegant but sweet at the same time. I am sure they will love this card and will keep it forever. I am definitely a very vanilla lover. I can see why you love your Stick It as it would be the best choice for an adhesive on this card in my thinking. We can call this Tip Carryover Thursday! Well, I had to come up with something a bit fun you know!
It really is a great product for these delicate dies…can’t wait to see how you comment on tomorrows card!
