Yesterday was just “one of those days” I wish that I could give you a funny about it….but not yesterday…..the great news is – today is a new and great day! 🙂 You know that I am a huge quote lover….I thought that you would like this one!
Good Morning and welcome back to the weekend editions that you all seem to love and enjoy! Now before you take a big sigh of disappointment that there is not this fun, unique…Susan card….I ask you to HANG IN THERE WITH ME…and PLEASE do not click me off! (I would miss you plus you would miss the opportunity for BLOG CANDY) 😛
We all know that we are in the midst of Sale-A-Bration, (the sweetest time of the year) because of the freebies! Yep, when we hear that word FREE it is natural that we PERK UP and then naturally smile! So…..for every $50.00 you get to pick a FREEBIE and this FREEBIE that I am showing you today is over looked and I wanted to give it some love!
WHY? Well, I really like it. I hope that you click on the video above and watch how incredibly easy it is to put together…There is NO stamping as the sentiments were pre-printed on a sticker for you to place.
Now many of you might way – why would I or you at that matter like this? Are you ready for my answer? It is cute. It is easy. It is a lifesaver when that “TIME” thing happens to us.
Because the cards have the printed polka dots, I decided to continue the fun with the envelope! A simple tough that make you smile, the recipient smile and even the mail man.
I know that tomorrow….you are going to love the changes I made. You know me well enough – I love to share, show and teach you in how to do something simple to change the WHOLE look and feel!
To me, it’s a fun game to play and one that we all can do! Now for some blog candy…..tell me what is your favorite SAB item and why? I will randomly pick a comment and I will send you that goodie…..I can’t wait to hear your responses!

These cards are super cute, but my favorite SAB choice is the “Hey Chick” stamp set. I just love the hair sticking up on the skinny chicken! It makes me laugh every time I see it.
Beautiful job showing off that little Sale-A-Bration kit. You convinced me to earn it!
My favorite SAB item is the “Hey Chick” stamp set. It’s so fun and whimsical. Makes you smile every time you see it.
You are such an enabler, Susan! You have even convinced Mary to get that kit! : ) I would Love to have the Hey, Chick stamp set! At first, I did not care for it, but the more cards I see using this set, the more it is growing on me. I think it would bring a smile to the recipient, and that really matters to me. I know it’s made me smile more than once! Thank you for another opportunity to win some goodies~
I love motivational quotes, also, Susan…I’ve never seen this one! Love it, and that sweet little pocket card kit!
I am going for the Hey, Chick set also. It is a happy set and when I send cards I like to make people happy.
Oh this is a toss up Susan! I love the So Very Much set for it’s practicality and awesome font but I also love the Hey, Chick because it is so much fun! Can’t wait to see what you do with this kit tomorrow!
I have to say that at first I did not get the hey, chick set but I have seen some fabulous projects with it!
As I clicked to leave a reply, I was thinking, “I’ll be the only one with this …,” so imagine my surprise to find that “Hey, Chick” is leaving everything else in the dust! And no wonder … the “girls” are adorable.
My favorite is Avant Garden. Not a fan of Hey Chick but reading all the comments, I will keep an open mind! Thanks for the quotes. They are very inspiring.
BEFORE I read your post, my choice would have been different!! AFTER reading your post – I must say my favorite SAB item is the “Pretty Pocket Card Kit”! Thank you for this chance to win (it)!?
My favorite is the Hey Chick stamp set. I enjoy smiles and those images are so cute!! They certainly create smiles!
At first my favorite was Avant Garden, but the more I thought about it the more a wanted something different. SU has sooooo many flower stamp sets that I love but now my favorite is Hey Chick. It’s very different from anything they’ve had and I see the cutest cards made with it. Thanks Susan for the chance to win a goodie. Have a great weekend.
Cute cards today. My favorite has to be Hey, Chick. I had a pet chicken as a kid.
I like Avant Garden. It’s so pretty! Thank you Susan!
Actually it is hard to choose one favorite. After seeing your card today, I’m going with the Pretty Pocket Card Kit. It is cute, easy and I can’t wait to see how you step it up tomorrow. Thanks for offering some blog candy. Have a great day…you need one after the week you’ve had.
Love the “hey Chick” stamp set but also love the ribbon !
Love Hey Chick! The Phyllis Diller hair makes me laugh? Since I already ordered this one I am going with The Card Tin. I like the colors and I like Jeanie’s idea in one of her past posts. Enjoy!
So very much, that big sentiment is a keeper!
I’m going to go with the card tin this time. So many great choices. Thanks for your blog!
I like the So Very Much stamp set. I think it would be great for making a set of TY note cards which could be a cute & simple gift.
My favorite is “Hey Chick”. (Will ink it up soon). I did get the DSP “Carried Away” and really like the patterns and colors.
Well, I guess I am the only person on the planet that liked that adorable Tasty Truck ! Which I got with my first order . Love love the tiny taco and hot dog and …and …. Brian did an adorable card with the taco that sold me .
This set was my second choice plan because it is really cute too ! I bet you could turn that one with the polka dots wrong side out ….can`t wait to see what you do tomorrow !
Oh and by the way ….I just got The Designer Tin of Cards because you sent me a card from that set when I won the green glue and I really liked it . Who wouldn`t just love those baby paper clips ??
Yup I’m a lover of Hey Chick ? too! And being able to use the watercolor pencils on them is a huge plus!!
Hey Chick is my favorite. Adorable, the chicks make me smile every time I see them.
I am so glad you highlighted this set….I had skipped it and now I will be looking to earn it. My fav is Hey Chick and Mary Ann H. made me laugh out loud because it was the Phyllis Diller hair that got me too. ?
Inside the lines DSP is top of my list then Avant Garden.
It’s funny that you would showcase this set on your blog today as this is my favorite option available in the Sale-abration collection. I love the colors and easy assembly. Plus they are so very cute. Thank-you for the generous chance to win!
I watched the video of the Pretty Pocket Card Kit when it first came out bc it looked interesting but those chicks took first place with me. Since I’m waiting on it, I’ll vote for the card kit and can’t wait to see what you do with it tomorrow!
Well, the fence sitter is here. I thought this Pretty Pocket Card Kit was dumb. But, you have changed my mine as well as the video. I think that flower at the top was what I didn’t care for. But, you don’t have to put it on there – you could stamp something even. Now, I am thinking wouldn’t Phyllis the mop haired chicken be so funny stamped there instead of that flower sticker? So, both of these are pretty fun. I can say I wouldn’t get the Any Occasion or Designer Tee set. The Tin might be a good idea. I saw Brian’s taco card and loved it and that was my first thought that I would want it. Now, with a quick masking of the window on the truck we could make it into the UPS or Fed Ex truck or even the mail truck. I could see putting the little taco, hot dog, etc. on the envelope in the corner as well. Ummm, this is getting complicated and I don’t have tons of money to just get several items. I have seen a few Inside the Lines DSP cards and loved them but would I really use it all? No idea of the ribbon and probably wouldn’t get it either. The Delicate Details has merit but I have some lacy stamps that are similar so that is out. I love the So Very Much but honestly I have a few big thank you stamps I could use. The Carried Away – well then I would have to get that Lift Me bundle and I really don’t need all of that. I do like some of the paper but, well, whatever. Avant Garden was a favorite but like Mary Ann mentioned I do have a “few” flower sets already that could be subbed in for if I liked a certain card etc. So, I think I am back to the truck, chick and the kit. Phyllis would be most welcome to roost at my house and I could see me using it a lot with my sense of humor – so maybe that would be my choice. I would have to get her a cigarette holder and gloves and perfect that laugh! Well, crap as I look at her – her wings aren’t showing and that would be part of the fun! So what should I pick? Maybe after tomorrow I would go back to that kit – I do love the polka dots on those envelopes!
Hey Chick is my favorite! So cute and funny. Makes me smile!
I love the Hey Chick stamp set. It is perfect for my “egg lady”……I buy farm fresh eggs from her & it will be a perfect set to make some cute cards for her! Seems to be a popular set!
The metallic ribbon combo pack is my favorite SAB product. Love that gorgeous bow in the catalog.
You took 2 SAB items that were least favorites of mine and made me reconsider…Hey Chick and the slider cards. This little slider kit is putting a smile on my face!
First of all, that quote is wonderful. Thank you for sharing it. Secondly, this card kit was something I wanted to earn from the get-go; it will be a perfect gift to give my young nieces. (Un)fortunately I’ll have spent enough on all my purchases this month to earn enough sets so each gets her own…! I love the gold tin, too. Wish I could afford to earn multiples of THAT to give as special gifts to some elderly friends in a local nursing home. I’d fill it with cards for their use–that generation sends cards for every little (and big) occasion. It would be dressier than a plastic case (even if the case has a fancy decoration) and more durable than a CS box. As always, thanks for your generous offer of blog candy to your followers. Hope you feel the love from all of us and that we can put a smile on YOUR face, as you do for us.
Most everybody seems to like Hey Chick, but I like the Avant Garden stamp set. I just love flowers.
Hey Chick! Why? Because it would make me stretch my creativity and yes the more cards I see the more I like it. I love flowers and trees but agree with many of the others I could easily sub but it may still be on my wish list….Avant Garden for later
Hi Susan and friends,
I love the “Hey Chick” stamp set. I regretted not having any sort of animal since the retired frog stamp set. The new frog is cute but I preferred the first one. I fell in love with the chicks immediately. They just put a smile on my face. Happy Saturday to your all.
🙂
By far the “Hey Chick” stamp set is my favorite. They make me smile. TFS
I love the Hey Chick set. It makes me giggle every time I see a card made with this set. It is so different from any set I have. I tend to get too many flowers.
I think my favorite sale-a-bration item is the Carried Away DSP – I know – no hoarding!
I like the thank you set you showed the example of. Thanks for sharing I would not have picked that set without seeing your card. I also think the tasty trucks set would be fun to play with. Love your great ideas and your blog is so fun!
My favorite SAB item is the Avant Garden stamp set – because I never have enough flowers! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas – they’re a joy to read!
My fave “WAS” the Hey Chick stamp set. But, now that I see your post (and yes) how easy it is to put this kit together, I really have to say I’ve changed my mind to the Pretty Pocket Card Kit. I really do have so many stamp sets that I haven’t even used. I like the “Chicks”, but one can never have too many thank you/hello notes. And such a cute way to have it in a holder of its own. So, to answer your question, my favorite sale-a-bration item now is the card kit.
Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy!
I think I’d chose he Carried Away DSP-I love the perky springy colors-looking forward to that while I’m in the house looking out at the freezing rain! The metallic ribbon looks fun, too 🙂
Hope you have a happier day 🙂
I like the So Very Much stamp set, especially after seeing the nice card you made using it earlier in the week. I have lots of thank you stamps, but I am drawn to this stylish “Thank You.”
I think my favorite, at this point, is Advant Garden, but Hey Chick comes in a close second 🙂 Thanks for the contest!!
I actually am having a hard time picking only one! I think everything is fabulous. I put the Pretty Pocket cards together last night. Easy and cute! I always need quick thank you cards and note cards. I’m anxious to see what you do for tomorrow because I have another set to put together! I love the quote…..good reminder. Stay warm!
I love your energy and positive outlook Susan, it is always a pleasure to stop in. My favorite Sale-A-Bration item is So Very Much. I always seem to need thank you cards (what a dilemma, I must be pretty blessed). I love the sweet font, large size and add-on sentiments. So many possibilities with this set.
For me it was a tie between the Food Truck and the Chickens, however “food truck” is a bad word at work (our cafeteria quit making food saying they would get food trucks in instead and they did for 3 weeks and then left us high and dry the rest of the semester) so that bumped the chickens to the top. I still want the tasty trucks because they are much too cute. I admit that I didn’t care for Avant Garden but the more I’ve seen it used the more I like it.
I chuckled at your reminding us that you like quotes. I was making cads with a bunch of friends yesterday and we were talking about what well used saying would be quoted on each of our grave stones. Mine was, “Wait!…. What?!” Isn’t that inspirational???!
My favorite is the So very much stamp set. I make quite a few thank you cards and I love this font.
