Good Morning and before we get to today’s fun I want to say a very heartfelt thanks for all of the comments and emails on our dear Charlies’s passing! We are doing well and the other dogs are good but I do think and worry about JakK, his brother! I am tellin’ you all UP FRONT…..I really do not think that I can take anymore animals sadness as darn, they DO touch your life! Again, thank you.
With that said – I probably have a ca-zillion emails to go through and I will do my best to pluck away at them but let’s get to today’s card…as it is a ZOOM card and yep, it uses DSP and I know you have it….probably LOTS of it!
This simple card centers around the stamp set, Sending Thoughts! Remember what I have shared with you before and they are wise words from my wonderful upline and friend, Mary Fish…..when in doubt – GO FOR THE SENTIMENT stamp set….and YEP, this is a great example
This is a simple and go-to Vertical card and you really do not need me….so I will let the picture do the work! Remember, the BASICS are the keys to clean and simple cards! I love this style of card-making as face it, we are all super busy and to me…this card works!
The below picture will show you how the basic framelits make this work! I thought that it was fun to mix the stitched and the regular ovals in one card! Having the sentiment POP up was also a dimension that give a quick and simple PUNCH!
Now let’s chat about the white dots….face it, I adore them! I know that we do not still sell the white get pen BUT…..you can still get it on Amazon and also most craft stores. I would not, could not be without it! A simple touch does the trick – EVERY TIME!
Here is your picture to pin….and I hope that you do pin it and CASE it – how can something so simple be so beautiful!
Thanks again for all of the well wishes – I hope that you can find some “me time” to get inky and create…I admit, I have missed popping up to my work area the past 2 days!
Until tomorrow!

Good Morning Susan, I was thinking of you all weekend. 🙂
This card is perfect and I will definitely be CASE’n it!
🙂
You are the best! CASE away my friend!
Sometimes getting inky helps me through the tough times. Beautiful card and perfect sentiment.
AMEN SISTER!
A clean and simple sentiment is the perfect complement to paper with lots of pretty pattern. Beautiful.
Thanks Mary…..I do love this paper and YOU are the one that taught me about – GO FOR THE SENTIMENTS!
This is pretty and the sentiment quite fitting . I had the same thoughts as you about Jack . Well, you could always bring a new PUPPY into the family . That would be a total distraction !! BTW ….loved all of the pictures !
Missed your two Step Up Days and hoped you were staying busy off and on with some sort of paper and stamps .
I feel like you are a mind reader with me! Thanks for your kind words and I will say…who knows – we are always open and up to rescuing another misfit!
Beautiful sentiment and the perfect DSP. Thinking of you my friend. ?
Awe….you ALWAYS make me smile – inside and out!
So glad to see you back. Our hearts were with you all weekend. Such a lovely card to mark your return. Thanks for taking the time to create!
WOWZA – I am blessed….thank you!
We missed you but were with you in our thoughts. When I lost my basset hound, I took her collar to the shoemaker and had him make it into a key fob. It serves as an ever present reminder of “my little clown” who made me laugh every day.
That is FABULOUS! I love that idea…..
Pretty card and envelope. I can’t think of anything really fun to say about this type of cactus or succulent. Chris R. at a loss for words? Well, I have a lot on my mind crowding out idle thoughts including on how you and John have been doing. Dorky Mike managed to hit the mute button on the phone and another button so the line was tied up for maybe a day? Who knows. I guess he thought it was the TV remote and I am the one who has a strong family history of Alzheimer’s. Anyway, I noticed it when I went to make a call and it said Line in Use. Anyway, I gotta run….love the pretty card for the image as well as the colors. It looks so fun and springy. I am going to have to look at that stamp set again, it looks better than I remember. Hugs my friend.
You sure do know how to make someone smile….ALWAYS! I have missed you my friend!
Just wanted to say, this is such a pretty card! Love the simply beautiful layout with the designer series paper…and those dots bring the whole thing together!!! #loveitso
SMILING…again!
Lovely card and envelop set!!! Makes me think of spring and the warmer days ahead of us!!????
AMEN….I am WITH YOU….we are having such STRANGE weather on the East Coast but I will take it! LOVE IT!
Gorgeous Card Susan. Glad you are back, lots of attention & treats for Jakk I think. Stamping Hugs!
Thanks Theresa – it is such a simple card but it does carry a FUN punch!
Susan, I’m so glad you are all doing well. Losing a pet leaves such an absence everywhere in our day…they are just so much company and love 🙂 I have to say that i just love your card today!! The colors and layers are just gorgeous. You have the best ideas for using DSP, and I am tidying my stash of DSP up and will be looking back at this card and some of your other good “DSP users” to case. Thanks! Sending you a hug 🙂
Hi Amy…I say – YOU GET THAT DSP together and HAVE FUN!
Susan, I had knee replacement surgery last week and I’m way out of my normal routine. I’m finally catching up with snail and emails. I was sad to read about your loss. You and your family are the best fur parents. My heart is with you.
Oh no…..How are YOU!!!! I hope that your recovery is smooth sailing for you…..thanks for taking the time to pop in and leave a sweet comment!
I like how you cut a hole out of the DP to put your inset ovals into. Brilliant idea as you now have a succulent oval to play with on another card. I just ordered SU’s ovals. I have an old set of ovals but thought i should get myself current.
You will be happy that you did – it is the BEST to have the basics and the layering framelits are THE BEST!
I thought of you all weekend ,sorry I have not contacted you but I have had a few family and personal problems I was dealing with but did think of you. I have lost several animals I was very close to ….someone said all the sadness is worth it just to have had an animal to love and loves you back….so get another dog to fill the void . This is a bautiful card I will case. My love o you and hugs from your Texas friend…Alyece
Awe….I hope that you had a great weekend and thanks for the comment! You know that I love my fur babies. Even tonight when I was going to the barn….I was “counting every one” – and I still am shocked that I am “down ” my dear sweet Charlie!
Susan, This card is so beautiful. I love it. This is a card you could make a bunch of. Just change the words. I am so sorry about Charlie. I am glad you are doing a little bit better. Hugs, Ellen Hinds
You are SOOOOOOOO right – this is a perfect card to make in the “masses” – the sentiment is a great one that would be just perfect when needed…….it is soooooo super fast but still has a great wow factor – you know me, SIMPLE SUSAN!
Love those colors and your dots. Thought of you and pray for healing.
I missed you over the weekend and even missed this beautiful card. I love it. It’s definitely a good one to case and use some of my DSP stash. Buying your paper shares keeps me loaded with beautiful DSP :-))) Yes, we’re loving this weather and will take it when we can get it. Have a good day. Every day will become easier.
