As the saying goes...Out with the OLD and in with the NEW! Yep, that’s right…today is the LAST day to snag from the Holiday 2017 Catalog. I know that we are super excited for the new catalog to be unveiled tomorrow and trust me, “I get it” as I feel the same but at the same time there are a couple of retiring products that are leaving that I feel are total keepers and they a will always be warm on Randall Lane!
Please make sure that you check the “walking the plank” items before they sink into the “I do not know where they go Stampin’ Up! Sea” as I really think they are classics that will simply be timeless.
I have already separated my stamps that are leaving us and have tucked the ones into a special section of my work area of retired folks that sill live with me….here are the ones that I am keeping….just another peek for you…..because they ARE walking that dreadful plank….
There is nothing more classic that Mittens….from the moment I saw this bundle I knew that it had a permanent home with me!
YIKES – This Mitten Bundle is already sold out but you can still get the Mitten Framelits!!!
This Stamp Set is hands down the most Holiday Stamp Set I used and I will always keep this one – Watercolor Christmas. You know that I am nuts over great fonts…and these fonts in this stamp set is the best! I made the card on the left and the fab-o card on the right was sent to me from my amazing downline, Karen Hallam….please check out her blog as she is one talented stamper! How classic and simple is good old fashion Navy, White and Silver!
This next section are BUNDLES THAT ARE BEING CARRIED over but they will NOT be at the 10% off discounted price after today….so the moral of this story is…..I would SWOOP them up to get that 10% discount….
I am thrilled that these are staying with the Stampin’ Up! Family….great products to carry on the Stampin’ fun! Do you see in the card on the left below….where I showcased the Painted Harvest? That “merriest Christmas wishes” is from the Watercolor Christmas Stamp….it is just one FABULOUS STAMP!!!!
I LOVE this bundle and YEP, I will send you this card with a qualifying order….CLICK HERE to see the current incentive and hostess code…this ends today!
I think we all know that it is COLD outside…..I mean REALLY COLD….here is a super silly picture of my dear John – I think lost his mind yesterday….I came down from my work area and looked outside – he had built a little fire in the fire-pit and was sitting all bundled up with the dogs….
When I asked him what was he doing he looked at me and said – “What does it look like? I decided to have a little camp fire out here with the dogs!” Silly if you ask me….as they looked like they were having fun BUT…..it was COLD!
I wish I had a better picture of our riding ring….I have shared that John loves to decorate for Christmas….well over his shoulder is our ring and he has little white lights all around the ring and then has but a wreath on each of the 12 jumps that are in the ring with some spots lights….it is just beautiful at night when you drive down our lane and see the lights!
There you go! A little reminder of the last day to take advantage of the “bye-bye birdie” items….click here to see them and also do not forget to pop into the clearance rack as there just might be something in there to tickle your crafting fancy!
See you tomorrow…..YIPPPPPPEEEEE – a new catalog and Sale-A-Bration….the SWEETEST time of the year! Stay warm and let’s all have a wonderful New Year!
I am assuming Milo was with you and not so silly to be out with the others. The photo of the dogs and John made me smile. I sure hope it is not as cold as it is here. On the news it said Iowa was the coldest state today or yesterday. We are to break over 0 I think today. I hope so but there is a bit of a wind factor. Teddy has already gotten cabin fever and wants to go for a walk.
Oh cool, oh sorry no pun intended, I see hearts on the Smitten Mitten set. I can maybe make a valentine out of that set since I haven’t used it yet. I am in the thick of making valentines for the hospitalized kids and nursing home folks. Everybody stay warm and enjoy the catalogs.
Thanks for the reminder, Susan. It is very cold here as well. Stay warm everyone!! Hubby went grocery shopping this morning to get out for a little bit, but I’m snug in my craft room today. Yesterday I saw someone had posted a funny that said “I have not bought any craft supplies this year!” SU has a way of nipping that in the bud right off the bat. Enjoy your day!
You should post pictures at night of your lighting creations from John. That man has a little “adventure” in him!! Glad to hear that your Dad is doing better…..it is always a good feeling to be in your own home. Happy New Year & look forward to some great posts on your blog.
Love the opening pic of the car with the tree on top. Sad to see some of these products go but waiting with smiles to order some new stuff! John seems very comfortable with all the “fur warmth” around him! Enjoy!
I am in John’s camp!!! Embrace the weather!
I shared the weather with you in Richmond area. Happy to be back home in SW FL. Thx for sharing all your lovely, simple, beautiful card ideas!
