Woot-Woot! It is Friday! I sure hope that everyone has had a great week! I am super excited that my daughter came home from college last evening! It is wonderful to have her home!
I have been needing a bunch of thank-you notes for my job and I needed a beautiful feminine one for a special lady and I hope you like it!
I have posted before on this stamp set, Stippled Blossoms, and as I said before I was on the fence until I saw some actual samples and then I fell in love with it! (this really look better in person) but the depth and richness is beautiful! ( also…this is in the NEW catalog)
Here you go with the "to do's" Please email me or leave me a comment on how you like this! I hope that you enjoy my "bullet point" postings…if not – please let me know and I will go back to my other style!
ENJOY and please CASE away….its a "keeper" card! To order products…simple – click here and they will be delivered right to your door!
- Whisper White A-2 card base.
- Wisteria Wonder cut to 4' X 5 1/4"
- Whisper White cut to 3 1/4" X 5" , before I stamp – I do put this on a sheet of copy paper just so when I stamp off the edge…it won't mess up my work area! again, the stamp set is Stippled Blossoms!
- The colors of ink I used were Wild Wasabi, Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder. Stamp the flower – Lighter color 1st (WW) and then use the other stamp in the (EE)
- Before adhering this to the white base, I put a strip of Sticky Tape down the middle of the 5/8" Organza Ribbon – I know…not necessary but I hate to see ribbon wiggle!
- Out came Mr Big Shot and the Apothecary Accents Framlits! I cut (2) out of the Wild Wasabi and 1 from the white!
- Back up…before I cut the white one out – I used the sentiment from the Curly Cute Stamp Set in Wisteria Wonder! I also added 2 regal brads for a bit of bling!
- Out came the Stampin' Dimensions to POP it up as it should be for a "centered stage" effect!
- Lastly, the envelope was made special with the In Color Designer Series Paper…I just love them!
That's it! Now that wasn't hard was it! Please try this…it truly is a beautiful card and it would make a great birthday…thinking of you…sympathy….theme of a card!Email me your thoughts!
You all know that I simply adore the Designer Series Paper…well – in the new catalog…there are new prints within each color family as they currently have it…I would definitely put this on my wish list. I ALWAYS find these papers to be my regular"go to" to make a card go from o.k. to WOW!!!
I now that we all go through "waves" of making different types of cards…I have been using the Big Shot a bunch lately and I have been having fun!
Did you just see the word FUN??? Well I have learned in life if you are not having FUN, than you should re-evaluate what you are doing….well… I am here to tell you that I am having FUN each and everyday inspiring and creating for you!
I do admit it is a lot of work and a big time commitment …but the outcome is sooo well worth it! I thank you for being such great customers, great inspirational supporters and friends! Have a great day and I hope you like waking up to my inspirations each morning!
Until tomorrow……

Love the colors and the design. Just beautiful.
Beautiful card. Enjoy your blog each morning.
***BEAUTIFUL***
Love the card. Love the bullet points. Enjoy your daughter being home – it is so nice when they come back from college!
You were right, this is beautiful! I’ve been putting off getting this set since I have Field Flowers, but I may have to give in.
LOVE the bullet points – so easy to find details and read that way.
Thank you for your inspiration!
The bullet points are very helpful, though I know they take extra time for you. Thank you for sharing your time with us!
I am beginning to think I will have to put that stamp set on my wish list. I was not interested in it until, like you said, I started seeing examples of cards made with it. Your color combination is beautiful!
Thanks again for sharing!
I LOVe the directions/bullet points with the cards… makes my job easier to CAS and we know it’s All About Me! LOL Absolutely Beautiful card!! Enjoy Hannah being home!!!!
This is a great card and another any occassion, I’m traveling this week, but will have to try this one. Can’t wait to order a bunch more goodies from the new catalog and Susan, you do know you are an enabler, right:)
Have a great weekend.
Wowzers! This is one gorgeous card! I think I need you to send me one of these cards to thank me for my comments! Just kidding! Seriously though, this is just perfect with the colors you chose. I especially like the center with the two framelits! I had to laugh though – I totally missed the ribbon until I read about it in the bulleted section. Using bullets take longer but it sure sets it all apart when you read each section. I enjoy reading what you used and all your little tips. Using sticky strip is a great idea – much better than snail and having it move!
Have a “Fun” time this weekend with your daughter home. Is it for the summer or just a short visit?
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card!
