I say "WOOT-WOOT" as today is my 250th post on blogging! I know that this might be hard for you all to "take in" but I will say 1st it is a joy and 2nd is does take time! This sentiment says it all and it is from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set…simply…
"I can't thank you enough"
This stamp set is not only fun but the sentiments are simply wonderful…one that should be an "A list" on your collection of stamps!
Another thing that is super is that this comes in a bundle that will save you 15% right away! (At the end I will share with you how you can also save an additional 30% off of this bundle)

I did it again, I changed my mind on today's card! I had many comments and emails about yesterdays post and asking how time consuming it was….and it was a snap!
As I was going through looking at the other Pals Paper Art Challenges and I went to fellow PAL Margaret Moody's blog to see her incredible work…I scrolled though her blog and I saw her post on a Christmas Card she did using a Mosaic Theme!
Margaret is so talented and her post brought back so many wonderful memories of when I scrap-booked a ton….and using 3" X 3" squares on 12 x 12 pages was my "go to" layout!
As I was driving home from work, I was taking in all of the beautiful colors I saw…Autumn is magical to me and I wanted to not only use the colors I saw but I wanted to share with you how darn tootin' easy it is!
Here you go….make sure you go to the end of my blog to win a chance to win the "Blog Candy"…my thanks to you!
The card size is a 5 1/2" square…(you know me – I like fun and odd sizes) and this was super easy to do with the right tools!
A ruler and the 1" square punch are key products to make this a cinch! The colors I used are what I viewed on my drive home…Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke and Baked Brown Sugar! Easy-peasy…do not stress – you can do it…I know you can cause' you'll have me to help you if you need it!
After cutting my paper, I simply took the ruler and made a pencil line to the center…lined up the middle one and then go to the sides! Don't stress…it is easy!
TIP ALERT: The adhesive to use is the Tombow Liquid Glue…not only is it super affordable , but it is super strong and you can "wiggle" it a bit once you put it on to keep them straight – but make sure you remember – a little goes a LONG way = less it best!
After doing the squares…as we all know, "It's hip to be square" on came the simple yet heartfelt sentiment! It sums it all up….just love it!
Going to another "A list" for me this Fall, the Best of Autumn…this clean and classic leaf is all this card needed! It is super easy to "fussy cut" out and remember…..turn your paper (image)…not your hand and work from the back of your paper snips!

Let's get to the envelope so we can get to the blog candy! The envelope came to life with the Envelope Punch Board, – this tool is on the edge of being back ordered so if you do not have it….click my SHOP NOW button and add it to your cart!
I chose to line the outer flap with the fall color of Cajun Craze but then I knew the front of the envelope was the center stage for the mail man!
Now to the fun…..BLOG CANDY!!! I have 2 different chances for you to win some goodies from me!
Get your thinking cap on for the 1st one….and it will be for the 1st person to get it correct…. and the 2nd one is for the blog candy below in the picture, and that will be a random drawn number from the comments!

I see 7 colors on your card Susan. Very interesting card.
Congrats on your 250th post! Fun card design. I would say the odd color is Baked Brown Sugar as it is an In-Color and the others are Regal Colors. I like the Fall foliage and all sweet things pumpkin (pie, cheesecake, donuts…).
Again with the squares! I must get on that idea!!!! Love the card!
I think that Baked Brown Sugar is the odd color because the other 4 colors are all Regals.
One of my favorite things about fall is the way the fallen leaves smell. It was an odd sameness that they smell the same way here in France as they do in the U.S.
I guess I can’t win any prizes, though you mail them to my daughter to hold for me for the next time we visit.
Have a beautiful day! Stay dry as the tropical storm comes north!
Love the card! I agree with Bridget, you have one of the new IN COLORS with a grouping from the Regal collection…..I think that shows how great and versatile our colors are! I LOVE FALL….the color, the beauty, the crispness in the air and the pretty things to decorate with!
Happy Friday.
So like the look of the squares on the card face. Beautiful choice of colors. I would say the odd one is Baked Brown Sugar as it is not in the Regals Collections, but then as I look at it you could say the Crushed Curry as it is the only light color. Doesn’t matter it is beautiful.
I love the cooler air and less humidity and the little change in color that we get here in Florida.
Have a beautiful Fall week-end and keep up your blogging.
Susan, I this this card is so beautiful and you do explain things so easily.
I love the fall because the weather is perfect. Not too hot and not freezing. Also it is my birthday. I have to admit, I hate that it gets dark so early. 🙂
O.k. readers…it is 7:15 and none of you have figured out the question #1…some are “warm”….
Thank you for the beautiful cards you share. I love fall because of the weather. I love to sit out back on the patio on these cool evenings.
Beautiful fall card. My guess for the odd man out is the new in color, baked brown sugar. All the other delicious colors are in the regal collection.
I love all the beautiful fall colors of the leaves and flowers, the crunching of the crisp leaves and laughing of children playing and rolling in the leaves. Must also mention going to farm to obtain that beautiful Indian corn and just that extra perfect pumpkin. Seeing the children’s carvings of those pumpkins is a treasure all it’s own.
Please keep posting your wonderful cards they are an inspiration!
Well, could the answer be “Baked Brown Sugar” but the reason it is “odd” is that you didn’t use any ink in that color? Just me thinking…
Still love the card! I’ll have to look at my leaf stamps and see what I have that would do for CASEing this card!
You all are getting closer….still not quite the answer I was looking for….a new hint – there is only 1 other color in all of the Stampin’ Up colors that is like this!
Well, I thought it was because Baked Brown Sugar was an In color and the others were from the regals collection, but I am going to guess it is because Baked Brown Sugar has three words in its name and the others all have 2 words to describe the color. (The teacher in me is always looking at things in a different way. LOL)
I love everything about the fall…the smells, sounds of crackling leaves, football games, bonfires, and the chill in the air.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful card!
P.S. Just saw your hint….the only other color would be Night of Navy (If I am on the right track).
Jeanie is soooo hot….she is almost in the fire….keep guessing….
all the other colors start with the same letter. baked brown sugar
has an “s” in it. it’s not all B’s.
It has an odd letter out – “s” in sugar and night of Navy has the “o”. All other colors are two word each starting with the same letter.
I would have guessed Baked Brown Sugar to, so I guess I’m not going to win #1!
The card is awesome and gives me so many ideas, love that your post included so many tips throughout your explanation, it’s the little things like that, that mean so much to crafters!
I love Fall mostly because in South Louisiana we have about 3 days of it, then it’s back to summer heat!
Actually, bake-ing is one reason I love the fall. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year: the aromas in the kitchen, sweater weather, loved ones gathered close, new friends to celebrate and hundreds of blessings to count. Enjoy these fall days, Susan.
WOOT-WOOT!!!! Dara h. wins the stampin’ Dimensionals!
Get get a catalog and see all of the names…they all with the exception of Baked Brown Sugar and Night of Navy just have 2 words in the color name and each color had the same letters…midnight muse, chocolate chip, island indigo, gumball green, old olive…….
Dara – send me your address and I will send you the stampin dimensioals! susanitell@gmail.com
BUT PLEASE KEEP THE COMMENTS COMING as you could still win the blog candy! Have a great day!!! Hope you found this fun!
#1 I was going to guess Always Artichoke, because I don’t think of some much as a fall color because we see green all year round on the evergreens, but I now know that is wrong and think that Dara has it with Baked Brown Sugar not be all the same letter in the name of color Sugar making Baked Brown Sugar the odd man out.
#2 I love fall for all of its gorgeous colors and the cool crisp weather.
Fall is my favorite time of year,…why, because it reminds me of being back home in Iowa,..yes a Iowa girl at heart. I live in Arizona,…but I have the best memories of the colors changing on the trees,…raking of leaves and then jumping on the whole stack,..and my mom’s cooking and the decorations that everyone put out every year by their front doors,…bales of straw and lots of pumkins. I miss it!!!
I love all the fall colors and here in VA the foliage is breathtaking. The crisp fall days are my favorites.
Beautiful card, love the layout,
I love fall because to me it signifies the start of a new year (since the school year always started in the fall growing up)…so it feels fresh 🙂
I love when the weather gets cool and crisp. And I enjoy seeing the beauty of God’s color show when the leaves change colors. Thanks for the great cards you share and for a chance to win!
Thank you for showing us how to make your card, it’s so pretty with the fall colors you used. Mary W
What a beautiful fall card! Love the colors of fall and all your colors except Baked Brown Sugar are in the same SU color family.
Keep up the great blog as your cards are always an inspiration.
Susan, I’m not even going to tell you my guess on the color because I was way off :). But I will tell you that you remind me so much of my sister in law. The first time I saw your blog I had to look twice. My favorite time of year is fall and I really wish it lasted longer. I love fall for so many reasons, all the colors on the trees, weenie roasts, hay rides, crisp cool weather, football games, sweatshirts and jeans. One of my favorite memories is the first time I raked leaves at my in-law’s house. They have a really big yard and I had no idea what I was getting into. My mother in law still talks about that today. My husband and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary next week. What’s not to love about fall. I love your blog too!
All of the colors are warm, except the cool green. Typical of fall with the green being the last hint of summer as leaves turn signaling fall.
Hi Susan…I love fall for the changing colors of the leaves, the cooler nights and most of all–eating a delicious carmel apple! They just taste better this time of year! 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win…I really enjoy your blog and the inspiration you provide! Karen
Fall has been my favorite season since childhood. I love the crispness in the air, the smell after a fall rain, the wide aray of gorgeous colors. Something about all of this says “Relax, breathe in, count your blessings, and savor the beauty of all God has made.” I just recently joined your blog and enjoy it very much.
Awwwww….I missed out again! Always a day late or a dollar short!!!
Thanks for sharing how you line up and measure your squares. Such bold and vibrant colors. I love the sentiment with all the dots and dashes. Such a neat added touch. Thanks for sharing!
Love this card, and I have to admit that I need to get outside my box and try a square card, the colors are wonderful, and fall is my favorite season because of the riot of colors. When we lived in Virginia, we loved to take drives in the fall just to see the colors, pick some apples and get fresh apple cider. I’m going to try this card today, makes a greatbThanksgiving card
Congratulations on your 250th blog post, Susan, you do a great job of sharing your ideas and telling us how you did them, not all bloggers do that, probably why you have a lot of followers, cheers to the next 250!!
Love the card design, I will be the first to admit that square cards are outside my box, but I’m going to try this one today! Love the colors also, reminds me of when we lived in Virginia and used to take drives in the fall to take in the riot of colors, pick apples and get fresh apple cider.
Congratulations on your 250th blog post, Susan, and here’s to 250 more. Thanks for sharing your ideas, tips, and instructions for your projects, that is probably why you have so many followers, it’s things like that, that set your blog apart from other blogs.
Pumpkin and the other flavors and smells of Fall are why it is
Hands down my favorite time of year. Love your
Blog Susan, you are very talented. Hope your hubby
Is feeling better each day.
The baked brown sugar is the odd color and you need this color to make the other colors “even” on the card. Also, I love Autumn with the crisp, cool air, the beautiful colors of the leaves and just being able to wear a sweatshirt and jeans (and not sweating due to the hormones!).
1. The odd color I would guess to be Baked Brown Sugar. Although I do like the shade of brown that it is.
2. What I love about fall… the leaves falling, cooler weather, campfires and my favorite holiday of the year Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the beautiful cards and inspiration.
1. Your colors are all A, B, C and work so beautifully together.
2. For me, the autumn has meant the start of a new school year, both as a child (I loved school) and as an adult (I taught for 34+ years). The crisp air take over from the sweltering (beach) weather and the colorful leaves fall exposing the intriguing figures of the tree trunks and branches. Bark has such beauty of its own and I love the new stamps from Truly Grateful that have the wood grain and tree rings and the birch bark paper from the new kit. Nancy B Hope your husband is doing better every day!
I love fall because of the smells! Burning leaves , apple cider , weenie roasts, making s’mores , and hayrides!
Just check out all these fancy smancy squares! Love the card and the fall colors. I still think there is a little square of raspberry whatever it is in there – well it looks to me like 3 squares upper right, etc, but maybe it is just my screen with the cherry cobbler vs. the cajun craze. Love those leaves!
Fall is sensory overload for sure! We have 2 bakeries within a 3 block area so there is richer smells of cinnamon and spices rather than the almond in the Dutch Letters they usually make. Plus, before the burn ban – you could smell burning leaves. We also have a meat place between the bakeries with a smoke house for making jerky etc. Just breathing in the cooler crisp air with these smells, you can gain 10 pounds before you even have breakfast! Sight, the colors are the big delight here! Hearing the leaves rustle and crunch as you walk along. Touch in the fall means sweaters with the fun fell of the yarns or flannel maybe. Then that brings us back to those darn bakeries for taste – all the fun spices and earthy breads whether Artisan or a quick bread like pumpkin bread come to mind. Sweet and crisp apples are a sensory overload in their own right with the crisp sweet taste or tart depending on the variety, crunch as you bite in, the colors of course, and smell esp when baked!
Is it a wonder I am a little chubbo? Did I make anyone hungry? Oh yeah, I forgot for sound, outdoor sports events between the bands and the cheering! I have a college in the next block but their stadium is several blocks away thank goodness! Sorry for such a long comment!
I just did a humongous comment – where did it go? Let me know if it didn’t go through. It was a doozy!
I love your card! What I love about Fall is the deep blue color of the sky especially against the reds, yellows and oranges of the trees.
The fall season is such a beautiful time of year with all the colors, smells and changes daily! Thanks for all the detailed displays and instructions you provide! Love your comments and all your cards, look forward to seeing them daily. Have a great fall season.
Thank you for the card idea. I love it. I would not have guessed the odd color correctly, but thanks for a chance to win. Congratulations on your 250th post!
I live near the Blue Ridge Mts. and I love seeing the leaves change across the Mts.
I love this card….The fall colors are my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
Your blog is new to me and I love it. Pat Shepherd
Well, I didn’t get to say it yesterday, but congratulations on your 250th blog post. You have such great inspiration for us and I really love what you share. I love fall most of all because it starts to cool down around here and we have such lovely weather for several months. Also I love the smell of the air in the mornings and the start of such wonderful holiday celebrations.
I think the odd color is Baked Brown Sugar. When I think of Fall I know brown is around but that’s after all the pretty Fall colors are dried up and gone. Since your card has the bright Fall colors I think with the brown introduced it is bringing in Winter. I love the card! M
My Fall memories have to be raking up a huge pile of leaves and jumping in them. Also love the smell of the cool crisp air. Thanks for sharing each day. Love stopping by to get inspired. Janet
