Ok…I know…I know – I have been doing lots of fall cards but after all – it is Fall and it is my favorite time of the year! We had an absolutely beautiful day yesterday and it was wonderful to carve pumpkins…take in the fresh and crisp air that the season brings!
Now how about this card for a clean and simple card! This is a “Susan
style of card” and I love everything about it! You all know by now that I adore
the Note card Size of Cards!
Do you know what color this is…I am sure many are saying Sahara Sand….
but it is something that I would put a pretty good bet on that you do not use!
It is a “sleeper” in the catalog in my opinion but remember I shared it
with you several posts again in the white? This paper is called the Naturals
Ivory Paper! Love the little “flicks” in it!
Let’s get to the fun! This is a classic example of this being a great
card to of making a bunch of cards with this simple and very duplicatable
layout….
- I used the base of the Card in the note card size on Always Artichoke
in the 5” X 3 ½”
- The top paper is the Naturals Ivory Paper cut at 4 ¾” X 3 ¼”
- Using the Gently Falling Stamp I first stamped the Always Artichoke and
then the Sahara Sand on either side!

- With the help of my fun tool….the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig I lined up the sentiment which is from
the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set…(love it!)
Now
to this point – you can definitely agree with me… this is one super easy and one super straightforward card!

Can
you see how cutting all of the paper…then stamping all of the images…it is a
breeze to make a bunch of!
Now
to the envelope! Again…you know me well enough…it needs to match my card…after
all – first impressions are key!
- Using the Naturals Ivory Paper and cut it to the size that the Envelope
Punch Board guided me to do….cut a 7 ¼” square! This tool is the must have tool
of the year and being under $20.00 – I say….woot-woot!

- I need to make the mailman smile so today I did a double whammy! I
stamped the leaf and sentiment on the front and then I also lined the back flap
with the Regals Designer Series Paper Stacks!
Cute,
fun & done! I was tickled with this card and again, this is a layout that
you can use over and over again…. think about with flowers…. think about with
ornaments…super cute – right!!!
I
great tip I can give you with a card like this is…make up an extra one for you
to have for the future – put a post it note on the inside with the dimensions
sizes that I have given you…why take you time in measuring!
I
hope that you have enjoyed today’s card and I hope that you CASE away with it!
It’s a keeper and I know whomever receives it will be super happy!
Today
is the last day that you can take advantage of the $25.00 Starter Kit! The
growth of the PALS has been super and I would love for you to be another one of
the fun group that has taken advantage of this unreal offer!

Susan,
I love your cards. As much as I enjoy stamping, sometimes I am pressed for time or need to mass produce a card. Your layouts and easy to follow instructions take care of so many things. Glad I found your blog. Keep up the inspiration 🙂

Thanks Mary! I am just finishing up making 20 of these cards and they are just beautiful! The colors do not show up as good in the pictures but the colors together are so warm! When I was trying to come up with a name for my blog….it was “simple” as that’s what I like to show…thanks for the comment and I hop you pop back!
Great colors and again my favorite clean and simple. Of course it does give you lots of ideas:)
Very you card. I love it. I’m making 25 thank you’s too. So far I have done six and none are the same. I am just enjoying using my toys that I don’t use as often as I should. I’ve embossed some of the fronts, and some come out backwards, but no one will know that part. I used edge trimmers on some and I used ribbon on some. I am using note cards which is a first for me. It is hard to not fill up the whole card too much.
I like the tones on your card and I love that paper. I love your tip too.
Dear Susan, I am new to your beautiful site. I love your clean and simple cards. I love the colors and the tips you give are great. I am so looking forward to seeing more of your talent. Thank you for sharing, Ellen Hinds
Stunning in its simplicity!
So glad everyone is liking the card….it is a Z O O M card to make!!! You know me…simple works!
Now you’ve done it! So easy and actually elegant and classy. I will have to try this, love it! Thanks. Hope you, your hubby, your kids, animals, and your FIL are all doing well. Nancy B
Love you card Susan. I think you are talking me in to getting some of this paper! =) Thanks for sharing!
I love it as I usually do! I love ivory or vanilla card stock. I bought a couple of the packs when they had the confetti flakes on the ivory or vanilla colored card stock. You are right this might look real cool with the element of three – as in snowflakes for a quick and classy card. Same for flowers etc. Of course your envelopes are always the best!
Another beautiful, simple, classic! How do you do it? 🙂 And for me, another addition to the ever growing wish list….love the look of the naturals ivory paper. Can’t wait to see the 25 stamp sets on sale tomorrow!!!! The suspense is killing me. LOL
