Today I am showcasing yet another goodie using the SALE items!!! To me this is super cute, super practical and super fun and rewarding to make!
I was going to break this into 2 posts but then I thought…
“Why would I do that to do as it is so easy and
I want you to whip out projects and have fun!!!!”
This little gem of a box holds (8) 3 X 3 cards and lined envelopes that will surely put a smile on anyone’s face!
Think about the possibilities of this…a perfect little hostess gift, a hairdresser gift, a neighbor gift,an office friend…and I will show you after the holidays in different themes…Birthdays…just because/general themes etc…but for now we need to get serious for the Holiday!
Let’s start with the enclosure cards…super easy as Stampin’ Up! has the envelopes for the 3 X 3 cards and using the envelope liner framelit with the big shot makes even little things feel special like a BIG thing!
I used on all 4 different designs stamps from the Very Merry Tags Stamp Set that YES – is on sale as a bundle and the great thing is that each one coordinates with a punch!
TIP ALERT: PLEASE make sure that you see the different options in purchasing this set as a bundle – you can choose different punches…if you are confused – email me!

If you do not have the punches – no worries – just “fussy cut” them and you’ll be good to go! While I am bringing up punches…let’s talk about our punches – it’s simple = they are just the best on the market!
I have had many, many different punches and some have been great (for a while) and then they start jamming or simply get stuck…only to be totally frustrated! Our punches are fabulous and guess what – they are guaranteed just like all of our products!
The coordinating punches that are used with these stamps are : Artisan Label Punch, X-Lg Oval Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch and the Decorative Label Punch!
When you see a punch that is on sale or a style that you think will be very useful – BUY IT! You will never regret it! It’s kind of like that “Peanut Butter and Jelly” thing I talk about….
Having the right tools + the right product =
a great end result!
If you have the Whisper White in the 12 X 12 size, you can get 8 cards from 1 piece of paper and if you have the 8 ½” X 11” paper you can get 3 cards PLUS lots of scraps to use for your stamped images!
I simply stamped up the stamps…pop with a coordinating punch – layered them on a 2 ¾” square…popped a stampin’ dimensional on it….DONE!
A quick liner is all that is needed and it completes the look! The paper I used was from the Seasons of Style Paper Stack and from 1 little sheet – you can line 4 of these cards…I say a big – WOOT-WOOT for that!
Let’s get to this fun box….easy-peasy!!! I know that if I do not give you the dimensions 2 things would happen!
- You would be sad…
- You would email me and ask!!!
I couldn’t leave you hanging because it is my mission to have YOU create projects and for YOU to walk away with confidence that YOU did it!
Here you go! Please email me as always if you get stuck…I know, I need to do videos as it has to be easier than writing everything down…hopefully it makes sense!
- From one sheet of paper, you can make 2 of these boxes! Cut the paper to 8” X 5 ½”
- Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool…take the long side (8” one) and score at 3 ½” and 4 ½”

- Turn to the short side (5 1/2”) and score at 1” and then rotate the paper around and score again at 1”
- Use the bone folder all around to make the edges nice and crisp! To me this is truly a necessity to make your projects crisp and professional!
- Cut in at the score lines as shown in the picture and then I have found that making the snip (kinda like a triangle) does make it cleaner when putting together!
- Use Sticky Strip…why? – It really is the best when keeping projects and cards nice and tight! When you have change in temperature in your home…then a car….it effects the adhesive…especially in 3-D projects – I recommend using it!
The top of the box:
- Cutting a 5 5/8” X 3 1/8” piece from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack is the start…then scoring a 1” score all the way around is all you need!

- Finish the top just like you did the box and BAM – you are done! SIMPLE…right???
Continuing with the theme of this set…I stamped a “Bah-hum Bug” and matted it with the Artisan Label Punch to give it the finale it deserves!
HOW ABOUT THIS!!!!
Isn’t it super cute?
I truly hope that you make some of these to give as gifts this year! It is a great way to use up scraps…provides a WOW factor…and it is such a thoughtful and useful gift! We always need little gift enclosures!
I am having fun showing you ideas with these great items on sale!
Remember, click on the below picture and you will see the whole list…I would say – print it out and see what you have…and then make your list to what you need to accomplish this holiday season!
The majority of my gifts at the holiday are handmade gifts…just like these and I adore making cakes, cookie and sticky buns for my family and friends over the season!
There is nothing like a homemade gift from your heart! I hope that I have inspired you and I hope that you pop back soon!
Until tomorrow!

Cute box, and I even have that set, guess I’ll be playing with this one:)
Super cute indeed! But, you have it wrong! 1. we would E-mail first and then 2. be sad until we heard back on the measurements! You had me at the mini cards but with the box and the envelope liners – a win-win situation! Totally love these little gems! I need to get another pack of this paper, I used my favorite pieces out of the stack and shared with a friend some of the less favorite sheets which she liked. I have not used the envelope liners yet but I have the framelits now so I think I had better get busy trying them out!
Cool Box! I know what I will be making this weekend. You are so right…they make perfect hostess gifts, hairdresser, etc. as everyone needs little gift cards! Thanks again for sharing! Love, love, love your ideas! And so appreciate the measurements! I hate it when I have to think and try to figure it out. LOL
I have a lot of work to do fast! I thought these would be great gifts for my neighbors, perhaps with all different or all the same sayings. I love all your directions! Thank you very much!! Hope hubby is doing all right now. Nancy B
Adorable! Love it but then again I love ALL of your creations!
Chris….you totally make me smile each and everyday! These are so cute and so easy to whip up! How’s Henry?

Nancy – you will be amazed at how fast they go! Do them in steps if you are making a bunch of them! Have fun and let me know if you need help!
