I wish that you could see me when you open up this post as I have a BIG smile sharing this super cute card with you today as I call this a “Susan kind of card”!!!
Have you ever sat down and thought, I just want to do something so simple, yet so fun and be able to make “multitudes”!?!? Well…today’s post is for you!
Let’s take a dive right into this super easy and adorable card!
- I am going in “reverse” today and start with the envelope! You know by now that I absolutely love the note-card size of 3 ½” X 5” and Stampin’ Up! has this size in the Crumb Cake color! Better yet, it is on SALE …just until tomorrow! 40 cards for just $3.85 is WOWZERS!
- The liner was a cinch and I thought the stripes were very fun and whimsical for this card – it is from the Season of Style Paper Stack Pack and that has been a HOME RUN this season – with the help of the envelope liner framelit and Mr. Big Shot – this envelope came together in a snap! You can line (2) envelopes with one piece of paper….I say WOOT-WOOT!

- Let’s get to the card! A sheet of paper will produce you (2) cards with scraps left over for other projects! The finished size of the card is 3 ½” X 5”
- Pulling out Mr. Big Shot and the Deco Framelits, this quick turn of the handle to create the shapes was a cinch! Remember – use the Watercolor Paper!

- This stamp is from the Best of Snow and remember, these stamp sets have been monthly unveiled in honor of Stampin’ Ups! 25th anniversary and WOW – has it been a great year of celebration! Click here to see all the stamps sets over this past year!

- Stamp these adorable guys with Black Staz On Ink cause we are going to have fun with the Aqua Painters! To me, water coloring is one of these things that you simply get better the more that you do it! I have always marveled over stampers that “master” . The ink colors I used were Cherry Cobble, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and that dear little nose in Pumpkin Pie (how appropriate it at this time of year!)

- The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and if you do not have this stamp set, you need to hit the SHOP NOW button right now and get it! This is definitely on my “A list” of stamps to have! These simple 3 words are perfect with these 2 little guys!

- Did you notice that I cut another framelit in Old Olive the same size and cut it in half before matting it to the image and then used the next size larger and used the Stampin Chalk Marker to “dot” around for the WOW factor – so simple…so effective…so wow!

ta carte est trop trop belle – bravo désolé je ne lis pas et ne parle pas anglais ….
Super sweet!
Love the card but love your blog more. I always look forward to my “in” box so I can read your blog. It is always so uplifting and has so many tricks of the trade. I have used many of your ideas in my card making. Have a great day!
Happy Dec. 1st. Can it be? Your card is just the cutest. I love those little hedgehogs. So fun to color. Thanks for always providing us inspiration each day. You are the best.
My Christmas cards are all made, but I will make this darling card.
Oh Susan really so much to take in! The card is adorable and I have that set. I can’t wait to play. You are so good with your white dots around the red. I figured out yesterday I can use the piercing guide and draw dots with them instead of punching. 🙂
Dear Susan, You card is so cute. I love the whole card. I love how you can use the framelits and make beautiful frames for your cards. I have quite a few of the framelits. Stamping Up is so amazing how they keep coming up with wonderful products to help our stamping become even better. I love you colors and the whole card. You are amazing. Please give all of your family a big hug and safe travels for everyone. I love to see your daily site it is like having coffee with a great friend. Thank You, Susan for all the inspiration every day. OMG…..I LOVE this card! So stinkin cute! I know you are in your glory this weekend with the kids home. I bet that helps make John’s recovery faster than anything else the doctor orders. Safe travels to all!!!
I love this card, especially the hedgehogs. So cute! I am a little puzzled by the Best of December stamp set. None of those stamps remind me of December.
This post encouraged me to go get that Best of Winter stamp set. Now I absolutely must break out this very stamp and use it! I enjoy your blog and your inspiration even if I don’t post often!
