Happy Saturday…happy weekend!!! Today is a "happy type card" – to me that is when you see it…you smile and it just makes you happy!!! We all need these kind of cards!
I must admit that it is a bit unfair of me to tease you with this super cute Designer Series Paper as it is part of the Sale-A-Bration fun that is a "countdown away"….but it is soooo fresh and fun! You all are going to just love the Sale-A-Bration items ….each and every product is a "keeper"
This week, we made this card for the Breast Cancer project I do and the best thing is….with one sheet of paper, I was able to make 8 cards and also with 1 sheet of paper you can line 8 envelopes! I knew that this paper was going to be HOT….and I was able to get my hands on 2 packs of this paper….I that made 36 of these cards!
If you order through me during Sale-A-Bration, you will receive a note of thanks from me with this card! I am planning in advance as this will be a thank you card!
This is a super layout and one that can be adapted in many ways so have fun and CASE away if you wish! Let's get going as I have the measurements for you!
- The base is your standard A-2 size in Whisper White!
- The Pool Party is 4" X 5 1/4"
- The DSP called Sweet Sorbet was cut into strips of 1 1/2" wide and then I cut them to 3 3/4" (you will get 3 out of 1 strip)
- I used the liquid multipurpose glue to mount the strips…WHY? – to me you can "wiggle" them a bit…and that works for me! I would work on the outside pieces and then the middle last!
- Let's get to the Stampin' part…the "hey there" comes from the "Just Saying Bundle"…here comes a WOOT-WOOT….cause you are saving an instant 15%

- Before I adhered the sentiment that was also cut out with the pool party….I placed a piece of Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Ribbon around this base!
- Now you can add the Stampin' Dimensionals on the pool party base and the WOW is starting happening!
- Time for a little bit of bling…today I am using "simplicity" – that is using the pansy punch in crisp cantaloupe!

- To add interest….I rolled the pansy's around a pencil or you could use your bone folder and then adhered them with a simple glue dot! This is a great trick and tip that really adds a lot!
- POP goes to the Itty Bitty Punch in Summer Starfruit and a quick and simply white dot with the Uni-Ball White Gel Pen does a quick and simple WOW!
- Easy as 1-2-3! The liner slid right in with the help of the envelope liner framelit to finish today's project! Again….the printed paper from Sale-A-Bration!
I hope that you get one of these cards from me!!!! I think it is a great card to touch base with…thanks someone…or a simple "just because" !!! Sometimes we all need a simple card like this!
I hope that you have a great day planned….I am excited to go see our newest horse…then do all of the things that do not get accomplished during the week!!!! We are to get snow….just a little bit!
Thanks for popping in….I know and understand that it is hard to place an order now with our super SALE-A-BRATION around the corner….and to be honest with you – I understand….this is the best group of freebies out there! I just want to continue to inspire you as YOU DESERVE IT…..
I know that you have lots of choices…and I thank you for popping in today! I appreciate your time and I hope that I inspire you….cause' I know you can do it!
Until tomorrow….have a great day!

Colorful yet not too bold …pretty . Thank you for reminding me to get out my Itty Bitty Punches and I love what you did with the Word Bubble …Thanks for the idea !
Cute and cheerful card. I like how you layered the word bubble. Thanks for sharing.
I am in love with this DSP. So cheerful. Beautiful card as always.
Yes, it looks very easy. I like that you can cut one piece and get so many cards. I feel like I have a lot of little pieces and now I can jump into eight cards. Can’t wait to try it. Enjoy your day and your weekend. 🙂
another winner Susan. This card would just instantly lift the spirits of the recipient upon opening.
Is anyone else having trouble getting your e-mailed posts? Or did I do something wrong on my computer?? I signed up and have been getting your daily e-mails for a couple of months. Then Jan 16 is the last one I got. I’ve had to go to your web address and hit the home button to get your daily “wonderful treat” of card inspiration. You were the first e-mail I looked for every morning. I retyped my e-mail address into your subscribe box and it said I was already subscribed. I’ll still look for you but I sure wish it was easier (again, I probably did something wrong on my end).
Great card without making the little squares but sort of the same look. I love the way you did the two bubbles for the sentiment! I think I still have that starfruit colored ribbon – that would be a good way to get rid of it! Something about that color I just am not sure about. But, on this card, I don’t mind it one bit! Thanks for more inspiration!
Susan, What a cute card. Yes I did smile when I opened your email today. I love everything about that card. It is so simple and adorable. I love how you did the double bubbles. That set is on my wish list….
Happy stamping. Ellen Hinds
