I have a true confession – when I was making this card for you today I started to make it WAY TOO COMPLICATED and I was getting a bit stressed and then I looked at it and said – enough….do what you do best – less is best!
This card is going to a special person to all of the PALS and especially to Mary….her wonderful neice Kris Kilcoyne. I shared with you yesterday a picture of the 2 of them and it is sooooo darn cute and special I just need to share it again!
True, Kris is Mary's neice (and that is super fun in itself)…but Kris is so much more to Mary and the whole PAL team…she is Mary's assistant and is nothing short of amazing!
I think it is the "coolest" thing that these 2 incredible ladies live across the country from each other but with the power of technology and sheer "synergy"….together they make it work for all of our benefits! I am sure that Kris was beaming seeing "Aunt Mary" at convention!
I think I summed it up with this Clean and SImple Card….WOW…WOW…WOW!!!! I am lovin' these photopolymer stamps and I must admit, it was nice not having to use the stamp-a-ma-jig (but I DO adore it)
As I said in the beginning, I was being super fussy about adding stars….flowers…..arrows…..yada-yada and then I just stood back and said DONE…these words speak LOUD and GREAT with nothing!
Lesson to be learned…when in doubt – LEAVE IT OUT! Less is best and this works….just fine! I did corner round all of the edges (probably because deep down I felt guilty about being so easy-peasy!
I think when you had big and bold images…there is an opportunity to keep it super clean and simple! Also, these images are GREAT heat embossed!
I am just head over heels with this DSP Stack and YES – Stampin' up! is coming out with more in the holiday catalog! WOOT-WOOT! These are such a GREAT BANG for your BUCK!!!
You can line (2) envelopes with each sheet….they are perfect for the front of a card…the sky's the limit!
I naturally had to jazz up the back of the envelope too…..I just could not resist! This sentiment fit perfectly right on the back of the envelope and I know that not only will the mailman smile….but Kris will smile as well!
Well Kris…hat's off to YOU for being the amazing helper to all of the PALS! I know that I drive you nuts in emailing you at the wrong address but you are an amazing organized person and I appreciate all that you do! I marvel at your computer skills and ability to have everything at your fingertips!
Kris is an amazing photographer and also adores My Digital Studio (something that I need to do more of as it is amazing). She loves Yoga….is a great Mom and Wife and the BEST to all of us PALS!
Congratulations Kris for all of the hard work that you and Mary do….I appreciate YOU!
Until tomorrow….

I love you clean, crisp and somewhat simple cars!! How do you resist not going overboard?? I want to get back to the “simple” card but feel as though the recipient will not enjoy it as much! I really enjoy your talent. Thank you
Maureen
Oops! Just looked over my post…sorry for the mistakes!
Wonderful card. I agree less is best. Fits your POV. Have a wonderful day despite the rain in our area.
I like your card and simple is definitely the way to go with what you intended the message to deliver . Kris will love it !
This set is WoW with all of the different sentiments and just look at the sizes !
Happy Thursday !
Susan, this is a “simply” perfect card for Kris! She’ll love it! I do have 2 questions for you. You said that you get two envelope liners out of one piece of the DSP above which measures 4 ½ by 6 ½. Is your card a 4 ¼ x 5 ½? or is it smaller? OR do you not cut the full liner when making a 4 ¼ by 5 ½ card? I know with a piece of 5 ⅞ x 12, I can get one whole liner and almost another whole liner. My DPS would go farther if I didn’t do the full liner, obviously. I just never thought to cut them that way. Thanks, Susan!
Gee, great minds must think alike!!! I have the exact question Suzie Cullen has.. How DO you get two envelope liners out of one sheet of the DSP paper stack ??? Love your simple, clean and perfect cards, Susan !!❤️??❤️
WOW is right! This is so much fun and Kris will love it! I think it is as close to being perfect as possible! I know I would putz around and try adding at least candy dots or something and spoil it! You just totally amaze me with your talent!
I know one time I was able to get two liners out of the paper stack size but I think I had to really think about it. Or, maybe I finally got it but haven’t used two for awhile. Maybe some photos would help us. How about the 3×3 card envelope size? I know I don’t line the whole way.
Let us know what Kris things – I bet she says “WOW” to it!
Great card! I’m sure it will be appreciated!
Can’t wait to meet you tomorrow or Sat.!
Cyberhugs!!!
Great card, thank you Kris too! ?
Love the card but was wondering what colors you used. I just love the color combination. I might have overlooked it in the post but couldn’t find it. can’t wait to make mine.
