When you are in need of a super quick card…this one is for you! Not only is it perfect for this time of the year, it comes together in a snap! The paper, Color me Autumn is just beautiful and it really makes the fall season come to life!
I received a card from my friend and downline, Jeanie in a Spring theme….and I knew that this "layout" would be a "keeper" for a future card! She does amazing work and she totally loves creating and Stampin' Up!
If there was one thing that I wish that Stampin’ Up! had it would be….to have the notecard & envelopes in the Very Vanilla color…but no worries – I cut my own and then used a crumb cake notecard envelope…so it works for me!
Pulling out the Cajun Craze from the DSP, I used the simple leaf from the Fun Fall Framelits, I simply cannot get enough of these! To me, these are great “fillers” to place “here and there” to make a statement!
The sentiment is from the Feels Good Stamp Set and I was so happy that it was carried over with this years catalog, as it is a keeper! Just look at these wonderful sentiments…I have made many cards with this set!
I stamped it on a piece of Very Vanilla in Crushed Curry and then using the Scalloped Tag Topper - a simple press did the magic! I took a piece of Cajun Craze a “smidge” larger and then did a quick “fussy cut” around the scalloped part and then threaded the Hello Honey Stitched Satin Ribbon with a quick “Susan knot” (remember….I am bow challenged)
Popping this whole piece up with Stampin’ Dimensionals did the trick! How quick and easy! This is a card that you could make in “mass quantities” as it is so easy!
Adding this beautiful Fall Paper to the back flap is the perfect finishing touch! I think that I am going to use this paper and layout for my Breast Cancer project next month - changing up the sentiment.
This post is a great example of it being “ok” with a clean look. I would be thrilled to receive a note from someone with this card…how about you?
Make sure that when you are creating cards…look beyond…like pulling out a simple framelit like I did today with the leaves. This not only does “fill the space” but it adds interest….always think out of the box!
That’s it for today…so easy – please whip up a simple cards and let yourself be proud that you did it without having to stress!!!
Please feel free to email me if I can be of help! I have been in my glory this week being able to be at a horse show seeing Hannah's horses….it feels great to be at the barn and being around my "horsey friends"!
Until tomorrow!

I love this card! Enjoy the weekend.
Cute Cute Cute ! I think the little leaves from this set are the cutest and I like this dsp a bunch !
I think we all need to write SU to nudge them into making those note cards in Very Vanilla . Yes, you can make your own ,but it would be faster to be able to just grab an all ready to go one !
Glad you are having such a fun time .
Oh this is a beautiful card. The DSP is really great. Great sentiment too. Have a great weekend!
🙂
I really enjoy your work, thanks for sharing
This is another beautiful Card!
I was very impressed with the white vellum flower with white staz on ink and I happen to have both that you did a couple days ago. I have a question or two. Did you stamp on the top or bottom of the vellum….wondering because of curling the petals will it scrape the ink?
Thanks for the lovely idea!
Now that’s my kind of card. enjoy your blog & inspiration so much!
Awesome card Susan. Love the DSP colors and how you put the two single leaves on the tag. Fabulous color and layering!!!
Thanks for sharing with us! So very nicely done!
You have used that paper perfectly! It is beautiful! The framelits are great. Definitely on my wish list!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Cyberhugs!
Great card, Susan, in every way:)
I’m in love with this new DSP! You’re card is just beautiful!
Hello and I stamped it just like it was ink! It did not effect the White Staz On at all…I used the bone folder to curl it but you can also use a pencil!
I hope you try it….thanks for popping in!
I also wish that SU! would make at least the note card envelopes in Very Vanilla. I can cut the cardstock, but I’d like to have that nice weight envelope already made. … Love your card, you’re right, it is a very versatile layout.
