Simple works for me…how about you?
This card is super-duper cute even though that the pictures do not do it justice. I adore it…why? It came together in a snap…it uses minimal product…you get to heat emboss (which is always fun) and it is super cute!
The card size is a notecard and I am super happy that Stampin' Up! has come out with these in crumb cake….now all we need is for them to come out with them in Very Vanilla! (my fingers are crossed)
The stamp set is Festival of Trees and wowzers – this has been a huge hit this year! Simple works….and I was happy with the end result. I stamped the Mossy Meadow on scraps of Very Vanilla and then did simple POPS with dimensionals!
After stamping the trees, I pulled out the versa mark and then used the gold embossing powder to give it a bit of pizzazz. ( I am sorry that the pictures did not come out great – they really are pretty but the pictures to me, look like the embossing is blurry)
If you follow my blog ( and I sure hope you do), you know that I am "bow challenged"…I will go through hoops to figure out how to add a bit of fru-fru….."my way"….I like what I did….it works!
I laid a simple bow that was made out of the gold bakers twine and then made a simple knot from the in color mossy meadow satin stitched ribbon!
I lined the outer flap of the envelope with the mossy meadow in color DSP stack! You all know that I love these and would never be without them! I just love that they come in all color collections so you always know that you will find a perfect option!
Remember, tomorrow is the last day for you to get this sentiment stamp set, Good Greetings. It is just adorable and I do hope that SU continues to come out with more stamps in this font!
With an order or event of $300.00, you will receive this free along with $50.00 worth of free product! This is a woot-woot all around!
Please feel free to email me to let me help you set goals and also to talk about the free paper for 6 months! Each and everyday I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do, it would be great to have you to! The PALS are the best and making a difference by touch so many is the BEST way to wake up each and everyday!
Until tomorrow!

That is a sweet fun card! Love the bow and twine too.
Pretty ! I know it is much prettier seeing it in the real . I like what you did with the ribbon and twine . Also the close up pictures of the ribbon show how pretty it really is . I think SU needs to have close up pictures of these beautiful ribbons in their next catty. And I am a note card fan too . Love those trees and embossing !
I too love this little Christmas Trees, with their golden, embossed garland. The ribbon is so beautiful too and with the Gold Baker’s Twine, even more.
Simply beautiful card, thank you for sharing.
Fun simple and sweet card today! I just love this notecard size. The sentiment collection is the greatest too. I’ve used it so often. Thanks for your support!
While all of your projects are awesome, I have to admit this is one that really made me say WOW! There is something that is so peaceful and relaxing about the colors. Good work! I enjoy all of your projects and appreciate what you do. Thanks!
This is soooo cute, Susan! I haven’t jumped onto the note card size bandwagon yet, but you sure make me want to give it a try. I just love your posts everyday. On a side note, I really think you meant to say that the “Good Greetings” stamp set promotion ends tomorrow instead of “Endless Wishes”. “Endless Wishes” is in the Holiday Catalog and is available until January 5, 2015. Thanks, Susan!
Thank you…thank you for the “heads up” – I did go in and make the change……don;t you just love this stamp set?!?!
Yes, another beauty!
🙂
Love this card and have finally started using the notecard sets which are great since they have an envelope also. And Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon are fast becoming favorites.
What a cute (and easy) little Christmas card! I may just have to CASE it. Love the Festival of Trees stamp/punch bundle and am eager to try it over the weekend. Thanks for the inspiratSherryion.
Oops! That should read “inspiration” without the Sherry in it. LOL
I like this! Quick and simple, no fuss, no muss. A friend asked me to make her a few quickie Christmas cards so this is extra inspiring!
I smell the sweet scent of pine! Hey, the neighbor has pine trees what did you think – smellavision? This is simply gorgeous! I ordered this bundle and it is on backorder. but, I did plan on using the gold embossing powder on the trees like you did and thought the gold baker’s twine would be cool but couldn’t quite figure out what needed to be on the left side. I thought 5 trees might be too much. You solved the problem for me! I had better order that ribbon! I wish I would have had a $300 order to get that fabulous set but I just can’t justify it. So, I will substitute something else. This is definitely being CASED this holiday! I better go, Teddy is chewing on the bottom of the door! What a dog, 5 months old this week.
Yes, I do love it! And, like you, I really like the font, too!
I am glad you are posting on Facebook, as I still can’t receive your daily posts to my email. Love this tree set. I received the stamp set, bit the punch is on back order. Love this card, will have to case. Thanks.
