Well…I have been looking everywhere I go for more ideas for our Boxes from Thursday's Post and naturally I found some classics…the Hershey Kiss! I know that I have seen projects for this but I have never tried it!
You know me that I like "Simple things" and this might look like it is hard…but if I can do it YOU can do it. I thought that I took a lot of pictures….but I think I found a "new friend"….a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Brenda Quintana…Please go to her blog and see the talent that she has!
You do not need me at all as Brenda's directions are just FABULOUS and I adore that she takes a TON of pictures…pictures are such a help and I highly encourage you to go get some "kisses" & "nuggets" and have a blast making this adorable tree!
These use a minimal amount of paper and you will feel so good that you accomplished this! It made my day as I thought….WOWZERS – this looks way too complicated!
Another idea the you could do is to punch a hole in a gift card edge and tie that one the tree…a PERECT GIFT! (just make sure you do not cut the magnetic strip on the card)
Below is just a person preference for me! I have made up a bunch of these and these are simply some tips to pass onto you!
I hope that you have enjoyed this post and are inspired to make a bunch as they are super fun and oh, so festive! Just think of "how cute" this would be for someone in a home…they would ADORE having a cute little tree in their room…
I am ALWAYS amazed with the talent out there and a HUGE thanks to Brenda for such an AMAZING tutorial….wowzers, a girl after my own heart! Many , many thanks for your talent and clarity!
Enjoy the day and until tomorrow…..Stampin' hugs to all of you!

Your tree is just too cute! I can’t wait to get some candy and get started. They will be perfect little treats for my co-workers. Thanks Susan and Brenda.
What a great find! Brenda’s tutorial is wonderful. Thank you for sharing it with us
Good Morning Susan, This is fantastic. Just so cute. I can’t stop thinking of them. Really a great find. You make it seem so easy too.
Going to check out Brenda’s blog.
Thanks again, both of you!
🙂
Hi Susan,
Thanks for sending me an email, so I could find your version of my Hershey’s Christmas trees. I love how you wrapped the nuggets with brown paper. Great idea!! The ticket tag is also adorable. Love it!!
Love this! Have seen a version of it before, but thanks so much for sharing directions.
Oh Susan, your blog post didn’t show up in my inbox and I was worried. I googled your blog and here it is. Whew, nothing wrong with you at least! Am I the only one who didn’t receive it?
I have seen this project and always thought I would try it but never did! Thanks for leading us to Brenda too. She is great!
I am up to my elbows in these little boxes working on the charity project. Remember I am short so it wouldn’t take too many of these jewels to reach my elbows! I have belly bands on all of them now and starting the numbers and embelishments later tonight or tomorrow. Word of warning, I ran out of the green glue and tried just snail on the belly bands – well that new paper is heavier and a bunch of them broke free of their boxes. So, I resorted to the sticky strip. Now my other problem is that I decided not to tower them like a tree as I doubt it they would stand up. The tray I have that looks so recycled won’t be big enough I don’t think to lay them down on in that shape. I could put them on a wreath but didn’t want to glue them on. Eek, not sure what to do. Set up for the event starts Monday We listed it as a centerpiece so not sure what to do. Maybe lay the wreath down with hot gluing them on and put big candles in the center? Ywah, I know this is your blog and I make it all about me from time to time. Sorry about that!
Thanks for showcasing this today – I spent the afternoon making a dozen for a craft fair tomorrow as well as 10 of your boxes filled with nuggets. Thanks for sharing.
I knew that there would be lots of “runs to the store” for the Hershey Kisses! have fun making them…..
I agree…I agree! It is wonderful that there are so many talented people out there…like YOU!
This is right up your alley Nancy….I hope you make a forest of trees! Have fun!
Woot-Woot to you Brenda! Your tree is just fantastic and I adore your blog as well…It looks complicated to make but it really isn’t – thanks to your great instructions!
Oh Chris…you did it again, I am smiling at your comment! I would be saying YIKES if I ran out of “Green Glue” – it is like gold to me….just love it!
I would stick with the sticky strip and I can envision the boxes piling up with a big smile…
I would lay the wreath down and use that good old hot glue gun but be careful that you do not burn yourself! Let us know how it turns out!
YEAH FOR YOU!!! Mission accomplished – I always love to get feedback like this. Aren’t they are super fun to make and also easy to “mass produce”…adorable and just one fun project! Thanks for sharing your successes….did you eat a Hershey kiss along the way?
They really are fun to make. And quite addictive. Luckily I didn’t eat any kisses or I’d have had to run out to buy more. I did eat the leftover nugget though. 🙂
Hi Liz!…and Susan…
These are so stinkin’ cute!!!!!How much would you charge for the Hersey Trees at your craft shows?
