Well this card sums it up…"You made my day" What a great week for me, for you and I am happy to report for "Jack". He is doing much better but did stay at the Vets another night for observation – John has his bed ready to take to work with him today and he will pick up our little buddy if the vet says its ok and he will go to work with John.
Please make sure that you go to the end of the post as I have (2) adorable pictures of "Jack" – He truly is the sweetest little Jack Russell ever and you will enjoy them – many thanks for your kind concerns and emails!
For those of you that are new to what I like to do on weekends…here you go! Today I am going to share with you a super simple and clean card and then tomorrow I will show you the same basic card, but just "stepped up" a bit!
I blogged earlier this week with this stamp set and I shared with you that I think it is a "sleeper" in the catalog – I simply adore it….actually so much that I think I could use it as a Stamp of the Month Kit because I think it is that versatile.
What more would you need? This card does the trick each and every time and the best thing is – just change the sentiment to make it work for you! The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts and that is definitely on my "A List"
The card base is my good old faithful "go-to" Whisper White Cards and envelopes – they just make my life easier as it totally takes all of the guess work out! You know me…I always like to cut another piece just 1/4" smaller as I think that this gives your card projects a special and simple touch.
The main key was the use of the Stamp-a-ma-jig….it is a dear friend to me and it should be for you as well! I find it to be like riding a bike – once you get it – you get it and you'll never look back!
Last but not least = envelope fun! I couldn't have a card go out with a naked envelope! I used the Island Indigo DSP Stack, always a great choice as you will get (4) different prints of paper in all of the colors!
I know that today is such a super quick card and I hope that you were not bored with it. I think it is super sweet and carries a big statement. I adore the flowers and using a simple glue dots makes it a cinch!
I was able to make it to the Horse Show in time to see Hannah ride. She did a great job and her main competition is today and tomorrow. It feels WONDERFUL to be back at a horse show – it is very, very muddy but I adore being around the horses and seeing my "barn friends"
In closing, here are (2) pictures of my little buddy "Jack" – he truly is a very special little Jack Russell and he adores me – we have always had a bond and the rest of the family says he is a "Moma's Boy" – I like to take him to Horse Shows with me if we are gone for a long time.
He is incredibly loyal to me and will never leave where "I put him" – the 1st one was when we were in Gulf Port MS and it was soooooo chilly and windy…..we was shivering (He is wearing my vest) and it was also during Mardi Gras….so in style he is wearing his beads (you can put anything on him and he will not take it off)
Here he is back at the barn….all 5 of our dogs have these matching coats – they love their coats! Isn't he just adorable – he makes me melt!

Such a sweet card! I need that stamp set the next time I get to order. It is on my wish list, but I ended up banking on the thought that it would carry over to the new catalog.
Good luck to Hannah in the horse show! So glad you got there in time to watch her yesterday!
Cyberhugs!
Great simple card and I love the colors. Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s version too. So glad “Jack” is ok and the pics are adorable! Good luck to Hannah and enjoy your time with her!
I love Jack Russels too. We lost our Jack last September. He was 19 year old! I still walk in the house and wonder where he is. He was truly loved in our home. Enjoy your Jack!
Cute simple card. Jack is adorable, what a sweetheart! Let us know how Hannah does in the show.
Susan,
This card may be simple but I love it!! This is a favorite set of mine as well but I don’t use it enough. In fact, I’m ashamed to say, it hasn’t seen ink yet. But you’ve inspired me. Looking forward to tomorrow’s version.
Jack is SUCH a cutie!! I’m a dog lover as well. Mine would never pose for pics like these.
Thanks for sharing.
Love the card. Have the stamp set I need to get it out and CASE this card! Hope Hannah does well at the Horse Show. Jack’s picture with the beads and your vest was priceless! Keep them coming!
Love the card, but the real show-stopper is Jack in the vest and his beads.
Hope Hannah enjoys her weekend too. Have a great weekend.
Not sure which is more adorable – the card or Jack’s photos! The look on his face – I dare anyone to say something about my beads not going with the vest! the last photo is just plain sweet!
Henry loved his sweaters as he would get cold and his teeth would chatter. I had a hard time getting it off of him once it turned 80 degrees! So how I doubt it Ted would even consider anything more than his collars.
Looking forward to seeing a stepped up version of this cute card.
Wishing Hannah a great ride! Enjoy the show.
