Good Morning and I hope that you do not click me off with this being such a super simple card….hopefully that you know me as simple makes me roll!!! I have tried many (and still do) different styles with my designing but I always feel like I come to my comfort = simple & clean!
The card today is a whisper white note card (but this could easily be an A-2 card) if you prefer…"Thanks" is so easy with this super quick card!
I did the "Susan go-to" by cutting a smaller piece just 1/4" smaller and then let the (2) simple stamps and the Aqua Painters do their trick!
If you do not own the aqua painters, I highly suggest that you purchase them…not only are they super easy to use, you will be surprised as your inner Picasso will be unveiled in no time. Today I did not use water color paper as I barely used the Aqua Painters as my touch was super light…and the paper did not warp!
I used the Memento Blank Ink to stamp the images and the placement was super easy for me as I have both of these stamps in the photopolymer….(you can see that the Mother's Love comes in all 3 mounts)
You can see that I used the simply scored to emboss simple lines to the edges – a easy technique that literally takes seconds! Did you notice the little trio dots….these take seconds and make a great touch!
I did use a good amount of dimensionals to make sure that I had the look I was going for…when in doubt with dimensionals – use more….they are sooooo affordable yet carry such a WOW factor!
I thank you for your time…I know that we all lead very busy lives but I thank you and what would make me super happy is….please share my blog with family and friends – referrals are the best and I blog everyday and to make sure that you stay in the loop, please subscribe to my blog so you will get a daily dose of simple fun!
Tuesday is a GREAT day….as it is when the new weekly deals will be unveiled!….Please click here to see what is up this week – What is your favorite? I am super happy that Stampin' Up! does this, is the best to have this to look forward to each and every week!
My pick…hmmmmm – that is hard but if you do not have the in color markers, now is the time for them….that ribbon is gorgeous but then….if you do not have the hexagon punch, what can I say – our punches are the best and are the key to quick, clean and simple!
Enjoy your day, make some memories and I hope that you try a simple card as simple works and never goes out of style – a true classic!
Simple but absolutely stunning! I can’t wait to CASE this! 🙂
Just beautiful, Susan! I love it.
Your “simple” always look so nice. I don’t know why it is such a struggle for me?
I hope you have a good day!
Cyberhugs!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card – Another stellar job of simplicity. You are the best, and thanks for making my day AGAIN. Happy Tuesday to you!!
You might call this card “simple,” but I call it “simply lovely.”
You do a great job sharing your talent with us Susan. Never underestimate yourself.
Love this card!
I don’t think anyone “clicks” you off….ever! All your cards, including this one are always just right on point. This card is perfect. Have a wonderful day!
Elegance! That is this card! I prefer simple also….always pleasing to the eye and calming,. Great job, Miss Susan!
I just love your super simple cards.
And I can’t wait for the new heavy weight Whisper White card stock.
Love your cards, love your blog! Thanks for sharing them with the world.
I realize this is my second post, but I wanted to comment about your trio of dots…every time you do them on a card they look so nice and perfect, as if you used a stamp. It is a simple and quick detail but adds a huge punch. I also love that you remind me that extra details don’t need to come from additional card stock layers — just adding score lines provides so much detail without adding any excess bulk. You never disappoint Susan! I admire your talent and am thankful you share your work with us each day.
a great one! And I love the aqua painters, too. You have inspired me today!!
Sometimes, the most simple, are the MOST BEATUIFUL!!!.
So you DO NOT get dumped for such a easy card.
Have a great new day!!
I certainly agree with Nana Vonne! I also believe that a lot of people love to do CAS cards! Some of the most beautiful cards are simple that still have a certain “wow” factor to them, such as this one! I love it!
I love everyone’s comments! This is just so pretty and has that “_______” (insert your favorite word!) factor. Who wouldn’t love to get this card in the mail or find it on their desk.
If anyone chooses to click off without viewing this – so be it – they don’t deserve to see such a wonderful card!
I personally want to make this card in various colors but I will have to use a different flower stamp. This card is a keeper of a card and I am sure all of will be CASEing away!
I just love your super simple cards.
And I can’t wait for the new heavy weight Whisper White card stock.
Such a sweet card today! Simple is timeless, I agree. I LOVE my Aqua Painters too! They are well worth the price. My favorite on the Weekly Deals this week is the Lullaby DSP. Hope you are having a great week!
Love the card Susan! Super simple, as you say.
I think I’ll make a few for a fundraiser donation.
And I even have some of the notecard size cards I forgot I had.
YEAH – so glad you like it…please case your little hearts away!
p.s. – Hi Caleb!
You are making me smile!
Thanks Dorothy – sometimes I think that I do such simple cards that they are not worth your time to see and read – I adore a quick card like this!
Thanks for your sweet words…
Calm is a great word for it – I think that the blushing bride is such a fantastic color!
A girl after my own heart…me too – it will be fabulous!
p.s. – I have always wanted to go to Australia! Thanks for popping in….
Awe….you are sweet – I love my dots…my kids always tease me about them but I find that when Hannah makes something…hmmmmmm – I see some trio dots in her work –
It is simply amazing how dots and dashes make such a difference!
So glad I inspired you….I used to be afraid of the Aqua Painter but it is the best… it does take a bit of time to learn the “just right” amount of water/moisture to have but once you get it…you’ve got it!
Thanks for mot hitting that trash can! I do agree with the beauty of simple!
Thanks Tonya, while I do enjoy trying to do a more challenging card from time to time = simple ones are my comfort!
You did it again, I am smiling….darn, we need to live closer!
Now YOU are the queen of watercoloring!!!
What a great idea! I am sure that they will sell like hot cakes! Love that note-card size!
Such a pretty set…and what a beautiful CAS card!!! Sorry this one went away with the last Mini. I have so many flower sets but never seem to get tired of them.
