It's back….the 2 day weekend format of showing something today and then pop back tomorrow and see how I have "stepped it" up a bit. Now don't click me off that this is not a card as I think that this is SUPER cute and I know that tomorrow you will enjoy that as well! (trust me)
CONFESSIONS OF AN HONEST DEMONSTRATOR: – I bought this die when it came out in the Occasions Catalog and I have never used it until now…(sound familiar to anyone else)??? On Tuesday when I saw it was on the weekly deals I thought – this is silly – pull that thing out and give it a spin!
Well…let me tell you – this is one that you need to hit that SHOP NOW button and get it especially since it is 25% off with the weekly deals. I am actually bummed that it took me so long to fall in love with this as I can see how much I will use it!
I do realize that the majority of my customers like to "look at" the 3D projects I make but are reluctant to make them. When I first started paper crafting I was the exact same way, I was truthfully fearful that I would not figure out how to put it together.
True the dies are more pricey but you will be amazed at how versatile they are and the longevity of them is fabulous as we always come out with new paper (and we all know we have a TON of discontinued paper that we scratch our heads and say what do I do with all of this)!!! and this die is a perfect example of how you can use it all year long!
Let's get to it – it is super duper straight forward…sometimes we just need to see pictures to help us "see the way". The thing that I really love about this die is that it is perfect with the paper stacks!
Now that the paper stacks are 6" X 6" – and in each stack there are (4) of the same print of paper – to make one bag you use 1 1/2 sheets of paper…so you can make 2 of these bags and still have a sheet left! LOVE THAT!
Enjoy the parade of pictures…so easy to do and today I chose to use the new adhesive Tear & Tape Adhesive. It is wonderful that you do not need to use scissors…a quick tear and DONE!
The next fun part is playing with the other dies that are in the set. The ideas are endless and the banner is perfect for the size of the adorable bag.
A couple of "dashes" add the fun flair and then the bakers twine….the BEST bang for your buck and I love that you can do so much with it – bows…loops – FUN!
Now to the parade of the others!
Please pop back tomorrow and see what I have up my sleeve!
Well….thoughts??? When I showed them to John he naturally smiled and said. "They are cute" – "Were they hard to make"? – Then he said…they would be great for my employees during tax season with a cookie in them…
hmmm – do you think he is taking advantage of my Stampin' Fun??? YEP, and I love it that not only he thinks about his employees…he knows that it brings me joy to do it for him! I just love making things with my hands!
I can't wait to show you what tomorrow will bring. I think that you will smile. I have had a lot of emails asking if I do a rewards program….the answer – YES! Below you will see it and please feel free to email me if you have any questions!

Have a fabulous day and go make some memories!
Thank you Susan! I confess – I have this set and I have yet to make the bag! I have used a few of the smaller Framelits though:-) You have inspired me to make up a few of these adorable bags! Have a great weekend! Hope your foot is feeling better and better!
I Love what you created using these mini bags, Susan! They are cute as a button! I just keep scratching my head at what I could use them for and why I would need them. My grandsons would tear them up and only care what’s inside….so much for the effort. Blah! For Easter, I made each of them those cute little black and white sheep, placed some chocolate pieces inside along with a check (since we don’t live close by I had to mail this and don’t like sending cash in the mail). Their dad was not aware of the checks until much later when he spotted one on the counter. Since he owns a landscaping company, he receives checks in the mail constantly and thought it was from a customer. He said, “What’s this? Oh, Nana gave you a check. Does your brother have one too? Go find it and give it to me.” See what I mean! Only the fun candy mattered to them! ; ) Kids….ya got to love them~
Susan I absolutely love these bags! When I saw them on the deals for this week I almost bought them! I am a lot closer now! Thanks so much for your great inspiration every day!
The bags are adorable, but I don’t have enough imagination to figure out what to put inside them, given the small size! Give us some ideas, please! My grandchildren are grown up now, so I have no little ones to buy little trinkets for anymore. See my boo boo face here?!
I was asked to work more hours next week – do I make them suffer and say no since they are the ones who cut my hours drastically or do I suck it up and work more and splurge and buy this die? So tempting as I have loved this die from the first time I saw it! Of course you confirmed this since I had forgotten about the little Enjoy die and the other fun little ones with the dashes and hearts etc.
Now for Barbara and some ideas. I bought the polka dot bags which have to be pretty much the same size. You can easily slip some cards in it wrapped in baker’s twine or just one special card and use it as an envelope. There is a boutique here that uses long check-style gift certificates and they fit in there really cute tied with a bow. If I had the stamp set about BYOP that would have been a card on the bag for sure! My step mother-in-law loves specialty teas – I popped in some tea in one and added a blue tag that said something to use when she had the blues or blahs, didn’t feel good or just whenever the hell she wanted to! I used a dreaded smiley face on there and she had the biggest laugh over it! The Christmas paper would make a great holder for an ornament or a Christmas card. I stuck a huge band aid and a bunch of Tootsie Pop suckers in one and put another dreaded smiley face sticker on the band aid. The little tag read “hope this helps the boo-boo!” A friend had broke a finger and it was her stamping hand! She laughed and said she was going to make a splint out of the Tootsie Pop sticks for her finger. I received a sheet of the smiley face stickers with an ad for Highlight Magazine for kids. I saved them for reasons like this! I am not sure if a CD would fit in there but a small paperback book fit in the polka dot bags. Oh, you can put the plastic utensils in them and use a bow to tie it shut for a place setting that would be so fun for a picnic. You could corral all of them in a mason jar or a basket too complete with a napkin. Use a flowery paper and put in a pack of seeds or the new veggie paper and seeds. You could use part of the basket die to decorate the bag as well. Dog treats in a baggie slipped inside with a tag about BFF (best furry friend) for our neighbor dog who Teddy loves to play with. A deck of cards would fit and you could use the Queen of Hearts card on the front saying something funny or for a guy the King. Do kids still play Go Fish? You could put a box of those in with a nautical theme on it. A newly divorced person who has a sense of humor – a pack of old maid cards! Even an adult would might like to color some cards you could make and add some colored pencils or markers. With the idea of the Buzzin Cuzzin card I had found an old photo of one of my birthday parties with my cousin in the photo and I thought about sending it to her in a little bag with a tag with the bee on it. On a grand scale – when donating little bars of soap, tooth brushes etc. to a shelter or wherever – make a bag to hold them with a tag for you on it. That could be a community project! About the holder for utensils – there is a new set with a place setting on it and something else. This could also be used to hold an invitation for a barbecue or something like that. Elaborate bags could hold something at a wedding or even the rice or bird seed to throw afterwards. With the Christmas paper you could either make the To/From tags and put in the bag or cut blank tags and add the stamp and ink spot or marker to make their own. Something as simple as candy or mints just because. How about a package of cough drops and little package of Kleenex for someone who has a cold and write something about hope this helps. Oh, I saw a gold star paperweight in a shop and wouldn’t that be fun to give in a little bag with an appropriate saying. Given more time and some specific papers I bet I could come up with more ideas! Boy, I am almost dizzy with all these thoughts! Of course nothing beats a good cookie though. We walked past one of the bakeries this morning and they had sugar cookies shaped like butterflies – now that is a no brainer with the new butterfly stamps and papers!
Susan ! This is one of my favorite dies !! I debated about the cost for a while ,but just look at all those extras that can be used on cards . I have these cuties in my Planner to slide 3×5 cards in …in my Smash Book….put it on the front of a card base to hold a gift card or book mark . Look at that cute little bow !
I am blushing to say I have never used it as a gift bag !!!
Waiting to see your reveal tomorrow !! FUN !
Oh Sonny, do you have a blog or something to show what you are talking about? I would love to see them!
