Good Morning and here is another card from that fantastic stamp set, Heartfelt Sympathy. Do you remember last month when we did that fun poll of favorite stamp sets and this one was not on the list but many of you said that it should have been on there and guess what – YOU ARE RIGHT!
This is the 2nd time I have blogged about this stamp set before and you can click here to see that post! I am using both of these cards for swaps at convention. I think that we do not show enough options for sympathy and this set is just fabulous!
It truly is as easy as 1-2-3! Here you go with the scoop!
- Card base is Old Olive
- The adorable print paper (1 1/2" X 5 1/2") is from the Pretty Petals Stack – (I adore the 6" x 6" size and the fun and fresh prints) Because you get (4) sheets of each print, think about it…you could make up 16 of these cards and then use another coordinating paper to line the envelopes if you wish!
- The pacific blue is 2" X 4" and then the sentiment piece is a smidge smaller stamped in Old Olive
- I took (4) strands of bakers twine and made a simple bow ( I think adding extra pieces really does make a fun effect.
- The envelope line was the reverse of this print….it truly makes a great card!
See how easy this is…you can do it – right? This is a card right up my alley as it is fast but it is still super fun and sweet and we both know that whomever gets this card will feel the warmth and love from this beautiful sentiment.
You know how easy this is…you can click that SHOP NOW button or click on the image in the below scrolling store! This is a total keeper and I think you can see how great it is from the (2) posts I have done showcasing this!
You know what today is….DEAL DAY! Please click here to see the offerings this week. Remember, not all items will be available all week as there are limited quantities on some of the items…so if you see something that "you just cannot resist", I say go for it!
It is hard to believe that tomorrow I will be in Salt Lake. I am so excited but also a bit apprehensive with being on my wheeler by myself. I know that once I get there I will be "good to go" being with the Pals! (It is a great thing that I have a non stop flight)
I am going to share with you tomorrow if I had a magic ball, things that I wish Stampin' Up! would unveil with the new upcoming holiday catalog (It will be fun if any of my wishes come true)
Please feel free to email me…and I hope that this post shows you that a cute card does not need to be hard!
Until tomorrow…..
I love the simplicity of this card sooo much – Can’t thank you enough! I wish you safe travels and a wonderful time at convention!
Susan, since you are such an animal rescue lover, and a horse lover to boot, would you be so kind as to share the below link? This is so, so tragic and it would be wonderful to find these two sweet horses in Stafford, VA a home together. Thanks in advance!

Susan, lovely card. Also, my husband and I will be arriving around 11:30 and can help you out if you need assistance. Please email me and I can give you cellphone and we can stay in touch that way. Want to make sure you have a good time. Stephanie.
I love this sentiment, and your card is gorgeous. Safe travels tomorrow. You will get the VIP treatment from the airlines because of your scooter. If you are flying coach, ask to be put in “bulkhead seats” because there is a lot of extra leg room there. All you have to do is ask them when you check in (or you can call in advance)…explain that you recently had surgery and they will “bump you” for no extra charge. I only know this from flying with my mom (she is disabled). You will have a wonderful time! I can’t wait to see pictures and hear your stories!!
This is such an adorable card – beautiful!! Have a super time at convention – you deserve it after all you’ve been through!! Safe travels!
Such a pretty card without dreary colors and I love the font .
I know you will have a wonderful time at the convention especially with all the “Pals”. You may have more help than you want (tee hee)
So glad that is a non stop flight for you ! Pictures Please !!
Oh Susan, I am so happy for you going to convention, especially the last one as we know. I have never been. I am looking so forward to seeing pictures and reading all about your wonderful time!! Again, so happy for you.

This is so pretty. I want to know how you get those multi-looped bows looking so good!
Love your card….have a safe and wonderful trip, Susan….you deserve it!
Great card! I really like the blue!
Tomorrow! Tomorrow! You probably won’t even see this comment until after I see you, but, just in case, see you tomorrow!
Cyberhugs!
Hi Deb and sorry for the late response…..I did not get on the computer yesterday….This is so sad – I have forwarded it to my “horse friends”
I feel certain that someone out there will help these animals – such a terrible story.
You are soooooo sweet – I am flying there right now…I cannot wait to meet – I will email you with my cell!
Darn, I wish I would have read this before now! Lesson learned! I am on Delta and I am actually amazed that the leg room is good. We are almost there and it will feel good to move around!
I promise that I will click away and share! Hope Caleb is doing well with Summer School
