Here is a super short post for you that carries a big punch…when I say that – it is little things like this that make me smile and I just love making treats like this up!
The other thing that I adore about projects like this is YOU CAN USE UP YOUR SCRAPS! This always makes all of us smile!
This is a yummy piece of chocolate wrapped and fru-fru'ed with love! I made a bunch of these to take to convention.
Here you go with how to make them….pull out your paper….find the little pieces of scrap ribbon you have and have fun! I have used the "Num-Num" Stamp Set but really you can use a variety of stamps!
- Piece of paper 2" X 7"
- Take piece to Simply Scored and score it as shown in below picture (I do find the "markers" when making a bunch as you do not have to think!!!!)
- Use the tag topper punch of your choice and punch the ends…scored/fold…
- Stamp a sentiment on a piece of scraps and use a punch to pop it out! I love the Tag Topper Punch for this project.
- Use the Itty Bitty Accents Punches to add the perfect touch and the glue dots work great to adhere.
- Tie a fun piece of ribbon to close.
DONE….now go give these away and make someone smile!
I hope that you go to the store…get some yummies and whip some of these up! You can use them for so many occasions. I shared with you that I am taking them to convention but these would be great for co-workers, bridge club, holidays….the ideas are endless!
Thanks for everyones kind words of kindness to us. We had another great day at home and I will leave you with another "Eddie" picture that will make you smile!
Until tomorrow!

Love the “sweet” tags and LOVE the Eddie pic – Thanks and have a wonderful day!
Have a peaceful day.
🙂
Oh sweet Eddie ! He reminds me so so much of Penny (the first pet that my hubby and I had together ) A Jack Russell …
This is a cute idea and I have the Tag Topper and Scoreboard (love those markers ) and I know somebody that would love this “goodie”.
Well, truthfully I know a lot of people that would love to get one of these!
A fun project !
Great treat idea and love how you decorated them! Eddie looks simply adorable and cuddle worthy! You can see he is treated with much love and affection!
I really liked the “change up” of today’s post! Cute, simple idea. Can never have too many of those. Eddie makes me smile 🙂
Oh, Eddie is So Adorable, Susan! What joy to have all these sweet 4 legged animals all around you! I L♥ve your chocolate wrappers! I’d almost NOT want to eat the candy with a pretty wrapper like these~
I haven’t made these in awhile. Thanks for reminding me how much fun they are! Have a wonderful time at Convention – I can’t wait to hear about your adventure! (Wish I was going! 🙁 )
Love, love this idea – can’t wait to make a bunch.
Great treat idea Susan. Always looking for some quick treat ideas as I help in a 4 yr. old class in the school and like to take treats to them and there teachers for all holidays. Kids love getting treats.
We always have scraps of CS and SDP and don’t know what to do with them, this will help with the scraps.
These are adorable! What a great idea for a sweet treat!
Cute idea for a little treat gift. Have fun at convention and take care of yourself during all the excitement there.
I make these treats all the time for Caleb’s teachers. They LOVE them and are always so grateful to receive them. The picture of Eddie is absolutely adorable!! He is so sweet. Caleb started summer school today and was a bit nervous and clingy this morning, so he hasn’t seen this post yet…darn it! The Eddie pic would have relaxed him. Oh well. It will be a nice surprise for him when he gets home. i hope you had a nice weekend with your family.
Fun idea and will be well-received as most everyone loves a little sweet treat! Eddie looks so sweet and it’s nice to know that Rosie is so willing to share her things! Have a great week!!
What a great idea! I’m so out of time, but if I weren’t, I would do that for the Belgian chocolates I brought for the party before Convention!
See you on Wednesday! Call me when you get to Salt Lake City!
Only 2 days!!!!
Cyberhugs until then!
What can be better or sweater than this – a Ghiradeli chocolate holder and adorable photo of Eddie?1? Well, getting the chocolate holder and eating the chocolate I guess but it is too hot here and it would melt! These are so cute with the little flowers on there. I don’t have the ornate topper but I have the scallop top punch and it will just have to do when I make some later when it is cooler. Wouldn’t be cute to have the shape of your state with your name on it? I am getting a kick out of Bridget with her count down to convention! She could have punched and stamped on the flight! Have a great time and we all want to hear all about it!
