Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for July. This month we are excited to show off the new 2015 – 2017 Stampin' Up! In Colors, namely, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. The In Color products include card stock, designer series paper, ribbon and other embellishments. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Beth McCullough's Blog, number 9 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Hello everyone….we have 5 new friends that will be with us for 2 years and I am super excited as I can honestly say that they all are dynamite! Now I know that Mint Macaron seems to be a favorite so I thought I would pass on that today….
And then there is Delightful Dijon….poor color…there are not as many that like this one but I will think that you will fall in love with it especially in the fall…I adore the boldness of both Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush…and to bring the family together, Tip Top Taupe…a fabulous neutral that we have been needing !
I am going to let the pictures tell the story of this clean and classic card. I love the fact that it uses a single stamp and then there are coordinating punches to use to make the WOW happen! Remember, you can see the whole line up in the scrolling store at the end of the post!
The "thickness" of the sentiment really makes a statement but it totally finishes the card. Next time you place an order, throw some coater board in the shopping cart….it does come in handy!
Just like clothes….you can not go wrong with Black and White with a POP of color! This is a simple card htat can be made in many sizes of cards, just adjust your measurements!
This flower also looks adorable on a gift bag…it just is FUN!
The next stop is Nancy Gleason, number 11 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!
Enjoy the day….have fun hopping around at all of the talent and I hope that you will hop back again to see me! Please feel free to email me or leave a comment….enjoy the hop!

Great card! I’m liking Watermelon Wonder better and better each time I see it in use. I look forward to getting to use the new colors!
Cyberhugs until I can give you real ones in 3 weeks!
Gorgeous! The flower is so vibrant it looks real! I’m stuck in the rut with making A2 size cards…you always have neat “odd size” cards and I admire you for that.
Very nice! Love the odd shape card and the color combo…the thanks fits perfectly next to the flower. I love how you “thicken” the thinlits with the coaster board….it really does make it pop and stand on its own.
I received your great e-mail today regarding the dog instructions and thank you for your kind words. You are my inspiration as well! I made a mistake, though…the newspaper in the dog’s mouth was from Love and Kindness stamp and not Lotus Bloosom…so sorry everyone! Enjoy the day and happy stamping!
I am sooo excited because my last order included this flower stamp and I can’t wait to use it! Love the possibilities with this single stamp! Colors on this card are awesome and I’m sure most any color combo would look great.
The use of coaster board is genius. I sometimes think the sentiments look flat but this makes such a huge improvement. I’ll be trying this soon. Thanks. You always have lovely cards.
Thanks for all the great tips!
This is stunning! The black and white really let the In Colors shine. And what a great idea of using coaster board instead of cutting out five of the greeting and gluing them together. (Yep, I’ve done it.) I’m a fan of Delightful Dijon and the way you can stamp off to lighten it or use it full strength for a warm color.
Did you stamp with white craft ink and emboss the flower?
Lovely card! Thank you for all of the wonderful tips!
Love that you did a different size/shape card!
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. You do beautiful work and your very generous with your tips and tricks on how to save paper and make your cards pop.
Love to hear about your fur friends…I have 3 Boston terriers and it’s nice to see someone getting as much enjoyment from them as I do. Thanks for sharing.
Hope your feeling better and glad to hear you are listening to the doctor….
Love this card! It is very crisp and clean….my kind of card!
I agree my friend….it is growing on me but I still peak at the pack of Strawberry Slush sitting on the counter saying…please do not forget about me!
YEP – 3 weeks and we are going to be at convention….I will be ZOOMING on my wheeler…you better keep up!
As the saying goes….”Try it – you might like it” I know that it is hard to break into other sizes but once you do – you will love the look and feel!
Get Caleb to help encourage you! Hugs!
Thanks Mary Ann – you know that I love odd sizes!
You had sent me that about the stamp set..I totally forgot – you are sooo generous to offer your talent!
I was thinking…..all of you crazy card-makers out there trying to recreate that beauty – I have the “Prize Winner” at my house….I have named him Westminster!
Yep = you’ve got it right – any color works great and it is super fun to used different colors for the centers! Have fun!
That is exactly how I felt….it was just “flat” and it also fought against the print paper….the coaster board is a great product and one that I think we forget about! Thanks for popping by!
You are sooooooo welcomed….I love to share as I want everyone to try….this is how we learn and grow!
YEAH – I think that everyone is going to be sooo darn tootin’ surprised with Delightful Delight….I think black and white is always a great backdrop for a POP of color!
No…I stamped it with the Watermelon Wonder on White Paper…but I love your idea!
You are soooo welcome! Many thanks fro popping by!
They always make me smile!
Awe….Boston Terriers are sooo sweet and fun! What are their names…there is nothing like “fur babies” – they are such a great part of our life!
Many thanks for the kind words and thank you for popping in today!
WOW…what a HUGE compliment coming from the MASTER! Thanks!
A big thanks for such a fun and bright card! Love it! I liked the way you popped up the white strip of paper – a good trick to remember! Such a delight being so bright! The size is fun too and works well with the sentiment and flower.
Teddy gave me a scare this morning with bloody diarrhea. The basset was a basket case! Ends up he has colitis they decided plus a staph infection. Some tummy pills and some antibiotics were given. They were going to keep him all day to monitor him but he was so loud and noisy they were begging me to stay while they checked him and to take him home! He screamed so loud when they just used water or alcohol to wipe his arm for the blood test I am sure they could hear him at the convenience store across the street and this is a very busy street with trucks and all! She ended up taking blood from one of the veins in his ear and he didn’t mind it at all. All tests were negative for now. I hope this took care of it. My little baby weighed 68 pounds!
Beautiful card! I love the dotted paper and how you ran the strip and popped up the elements! I, for one, love Dijon! I really did not like summer starfruit when it came out but that grew on me. I thought I would not like Dijon either but I have used that color quite a bit! It is underrated!
I love everything about your card – the colors, the dimension, the size, etc. Thanks for bringing attention to the coaster board. I often wondered if it could be cut with a die so thanks for letting us know it does!
Great card, Susan. Love the flower of Watermelon Wonder with a hint of other delicious In Colors. And I like odd sizes, too!
