Good morning and I bet most of you have totally by passed these adorable bags that are in the Annual Catalog on page 151. I know that this might not be the most exciting post but I will say that this is a super fun product and the next time you order, add these to your order as the are perfect all year long for all sorts of occasions!
If you are like me….I might have a little goodie that I want to give to someone but I simply do not want a ziplock baggie. These are perfect and safe for food products and just about anything!
I did use the Halloween Washi Tape to seal the bag and it also makes it super cute! I also punched some holes in the bag to feed the fun cotton ribbon thru and added a simple Susan bow….
EASY…FUN & DONE!
These are little secret weapons that we all need to have and be able to have "on hand" just in case! As you can see, these little fun bags hold a bunch and for just 40 cents a bag….those DOTS are super fun!
I am a "happy" Halloween person, not a scary one and I think a little something like this is a perfect "pick me up for anyone….any age" I think we forget to make small cards but small cards are super to write that quick hand written note!
I am hoping that Stampin' Up! comes out with this ribbon in other colors as it is just fabulous to work with and I adore the texture that it gives….love it!
I hope that this simple post brought an awareness to you for thinking about "packaging ideas" that Stampin' Up! offers. I always try to keep a supply of our packaging to have "just in case" and I will say, they sure do come in handy!
Daisey was sooooo flattered to get some comments yesterday. She is a hoot and I will say that it is funny if we have someone come to our house that does not know that we have a pig….they are either scared to death of her (which makes me really laugh as she does not move to fast) or they say, "Did you know that there is a pig out there" – (This is the comment that I really like as we had someone working on our furnace and when he came up stairs and Daisey was asleep in front of the fire place….he say – "Hey lady…..lady – did you know that there is a pig in your house?) – priceless!
Look who is below…things are going to work out….and this is a testament of how things do happen for a reason. Milo is with us and his "Nana – Earlene" is going to have the joy from this little man as we are going to keep him and let him go over and have Nana visits.
She is thrilled and my heart is full of happiness. She calls me several times a day asking about him (and I do the same to her as I know she is smiling with each and every moment I share with her) He discovered Daisey late yesterday and darn I wish I had a camera – it was priceless and he was running for a ball with Eddie and he saw Daisey and stop dead in his tracks and ran right back to me!!!
On another great note – Eddie has picked up weight and doing very well…his TLC and your comments make him happy!
Until tomorrow! Very, very happy with this post as you will see "Fall is in the air" – I hope that you pop back!

You are making me want M&M’s now! Fun packaging!
Cute doggie pictures! I hope Milo gets used to Daisy! Glad you could keep him and let him visit Erlene!
Cyberhugs!
Soooo thrilled with your news of Earlene and Milo – I can’t tell you how happy this makes me and once again, Susan to the rescue and gets it all figured out. EPIC! The pics here are PRICELESS too. God bless you for all that you do for so many. And yes, these little treat bags are awesome – I would not have thought they would be so darned tootin’ cute but then, they have been “Susan-ized” and now are VERY special. Hugs and Happy Hump Day!
I don’t know what I enjoy most about your blog, your beautiful creations with Stampin’ Up! products or God’s little creatures you share with us. I cannot wait to meet you in Atlanta at WCMD with Inking’s group. I hope your bringing Daisy ??!
Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing!
Heavy rain woke me up, so thought I would see what was on your post. I am sure glad I did. Between your treat bags, polk-a-dots always make me smile, and the pictures of Milo and Rosie, even with the downpour outside I am now sitting here with a smile. Thanks Susan. Thanks for the suggestion of the bags. I love little do-dahs to put treats in and you are right I didn’t see these. I have bought the brown dot and the chevron bags before and really liked them. It’s still raining really hard. Will sit and listen to the thunder. Thanks again for the cute idea.
So happy to see how Milo is fitting right in. Love the bags…wish I had more time.
Have a Happy Day.
Sharon
Home sweet home! Such a big heart you have Susan. The treat bags will be made in my crafty corner!
Ahh, thank God all is going well.
🙂
I’ve been keeping my hubby updated with Milo. The last thing he said was, “What is she going to do with him? She obviously can’t take him back!” And my reply was, “Probably keep him. What’s another dog when you already have 5 anyhow?” Ha Ha, I was right! Oh, and doesn’t she look the cutest with Rosie by her side! Funny piggy comments, Susan. You have to admit that it is unusual to have a piggy for a pet. ; )
These are my kind of treat bags! Super easy and cute! Enjoy your day~
Love the treat bags and how you easily decorated them! They are a staple to have on hand. I was laughing at the Daisey story…it must be a hoot when a repairman comes over and sees the unexpected. The pups look so adorable together and they just seem to “fit” with each other! Milo heard the “bark on the street” is the Itell house is THE best place to live! Enjoy!
Glad to see Milo has a forever home and Nana who he can visit. Sounds like Eddie is doing great. Rosie is so cute too. You have a home full of love. Before I forget love your Project.
Now I know how to put my stash of 3×3 cards to use! It looks like Milo has found a best bud already 🙂 Milo looks like a super sweet dog. Good to see that Earlene will still have visits with a special friend.
I just knew you were going to keep Milo and such a sweet dog he is. Love your bag project.
Love the treat bag all dressed up! I can’t remember if I saw them in the catalog or not. I think I may need to get some to have on hand. I can see them all decorated up for Christmas holding a treat or maybe a homemade ornament. The best part would be a little card or a tag! I can see my mailman smiling now munching a cookie!
I knew Milo would end up at your house too with Earlene borrowing him on occasions to cuddle. An hour or two of cuddling does wonders. Since you are close by maybe he can go over when she has some favorite TV shows to watch and sit in her lap. Love the photos of Milo and Rosie snoozing so contently. I had to laugh at the repairman, maybe you need to respond that he shouldn’t call himself a pig! People say the darndest things.
Cute package for goodies. My grandson would really enjoy receiving one. Glad you’ve worked out things with Earlene and Milo. It appears things are working out very well with Milo being the newest member of your family. It’s a win-win for everyone involved. You are so generous. It’s like you have “sucker” written on your forehead, but in a very sweet and loving way. I had to laugh at the comment of Mary Ann H, who said the Itell house is the best place to live and all the animals know it.
I am so happy that Milo is staying with you and Earlene can still have visits with him. It’s a win-win!!! He already looks like he belongs with your family. Also, so glad to hear Eddie is doing well! I wish everyone took as good of care of their pets as you do. It’s wonderful to see happy fur babies!!
Oh my goodness Susan, I have been super busy and just now caught up on your last few posts. What a whirlwind couple of days you have had. So happy that things turned out for the best with Milo. He is adorable. Does he have dachshund in him? I truly believe that our pets find us and it is wonderful that you have such a huge and caring heart when they come looking. Daisy is a beauty in my book. Wish I could convince a certain man I am married to to get one! Your treat bag is adorable. I am definitely in the Fall zone and look forward to making a few of these. I will also be sure to keep up on your posts…you never know what you will be missing! Happy 1st Day of Fall!
You were right, I HAD missed these adorable bags in the catalog. Will put them on my wish list.
Love the animal stories and pictures too. Thanks for sharing your ideas and animals!
So happy and relieved to see that Milo found a loving home. Was worried that he would have to be returned. Love the idea of making bags for occasions like Christmas with candy and gift card for my grandsons and maybe others. God bless you for caring.
I love hearing about your animals as much as I enjoy seeing what you’ve created. I can just imagine my cats’ reaction to a pet pig. Charles would so want to play with him and Cindy would want to hunt him.
You are amazing.I don’t know how you do it. Milo is one very lucky dog.
M&M’s are crafters ENERGY FOOD – I love the dark chocolate ones! These are super cute bags!
I am smiling so big that I am getting lines on my face. Earlene is a very special person to me and my Mom’s very best friend. She is simply the best and this whole thing has been an ordeal but one that I know I will never….ever regret – he is soooooooo special – it is a sign! Hugs my friend!
I am with you….I am sooooo excited and it will be a super fun treat to get a Gi-Gi hug! My children called my Mom Gi-Gi and I always said it was for “Gorgeous Grandmother”
Daisey would be a hoot but I will be at a Horse Show all week in Raleigh and flying to Atlanta for the FUN……I do not think that the airlines would like my precious girl!
What can I say…..but the 3 Musketeers are the best!
They are fun….and I really think that having some around is a great idea and I am sure that you would “jazz” them up to the MAX!
YEAH WANDA!!!! I like the way you think!
Things happen for a reason – hugs to you my friend!
What can I say but you and I are sooooo lucky – we have great husbands….tell him Milo is here to stay1
Maybe I need to start having sheep at the house…I am so happy but more importantly my heart is happy! He is a great little “low rider”
Thank you….thank you! I know that I should not put so much of my “life and critters” into my blog but it is ME! I feel blessed that this little Milo into our lives.
