Good Morning and here you go….a stepped up versions from yesterdays card…still simple…still clean with minimal changes that make the card have a bit of a different feel but to me, you can not go wrong with either one.

I am one that LOVES white…white space is your friend in making cards…BUT….I hope that you can see that today’s card still has a bunch of white space but I added the mat of the Bermuda Bay to help POP the vases but more specifically, I wanted to let the liner shine!
I love the paper stacks as they always allow us to have a simple element of fun that will pull a project together as all of our papers and inks color coordinate together. I just love it when you do not have to think too hard and the end result will be a smile for someone!

You can see on the above photo that the Bermuda Bay mat sets off the vases but the FUN is the new enamel accents called It’s My Party Enamel Dots and they are in the colors of Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Mint Macaroon. This little accent if fun, shiny, modern and just plain fun!

The other difference from yesterday is that I used dimensionals today and yesterday I just adhered the white mat on the cards base. Again, it all comes down to time – you really could not go wrong with either one!

Today I decided to stamp the front of the envelope as well as adhere the vase down. I used the green glue and I have not found that they come off in the mail. If you are concerned, ask your post office to hand stamp it so it will not go through the machine and you will be good to go!

This card can be made with so many of our DSP’s….just remember that smaller prints work the best! Heck, you could use the same color scheme using the DSP Paper Stacks and use different prints….BINGO – DONE!
Well…thoughts? Do you have a favorite? I hope that this shows you haw a single simple stamp can make a fun and fabulous card that anyone would be super proud to receive….and the best thing….they will feel better sooner because of you!
Here you so with the dimensions! Both cards this weekend were made with the MUST HAVE Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes. The colors that I used with the Aqua painter to accent the flowers were the same for both days, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz.
Saturday’s Card:
- The White Mat on the note card was 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″
Sunday’s Card:
- The Bermuda Bay was 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″
- The White Mat is 4 1/2″ X 3″

I really liked your extra pop of color in today’s card Susan! Nice job.
Both are Beautiful! Love each the same! My mother looked at one of my cards that had a lot of white space, and she said, “I don’t like all that white showing!” Lol Isn’t it funny how each person feels differently about white? When she gets a card from me, I make sure that it’s not a CAS style just for her!
Love the pop of Bermuda Bay and the yellow dots! Both cards are great and so many DSP color choices can be made. Way to go, Susan! Enjoy!
Like both cards, but for me the small pop of yellow dots adds the WOW. Will have to get the
It’s My Party dots. Have a good Sunday!
Oh my! I do love the stepped up version. While I didn’t get around to playing with this stamp yesterday as planned I did ponder adding a layer of designer paper in there (mostly because I have so much of it). The dots are a nice touch too! I feel so inspired! I got your letter, catalog and notecard in the mail and can’t wait to get some Sale-a-Bration goodies. I have Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket!
Both are gorgeous, Susan! Love how the envelope is perfect with that card…I forget to dress it up like my card. LOL!
Tough decision between the two but since I am totally in love with layers and enamel dots I am leaning more towards today’s version. But, something about all the white I really liked which is unusual for me. Those enamel dots are so appropriately titled – It’s my Party and they have such a party feel to the colors. A sort of touch of whimsy to go with the saying “get well sooner!” The envelope is just plain fun! Great job as always and like you said, it is all about the time (and supplies). Just love the posts with the stepped up versions!
Beautiful stepped up version of an already beautiful CAS card, love the paper piecing, it really makes the difference between nice and wow!
Amazing what that pop of color with the layer and dots does! I liked Saturday’s card but love this one! Thanks for the ideas.
Both are great! I think the Bermuda Bay and the “Susan Dots” make a bold pop! Everytime you use this stamp I remember I want to purchase it!
Well . . . like you said, you can’t go wrong with either one, but the Bermuda Bay layer does make a statement, to me.
🙂
Susan, I like both cards, I really like today’s stepped up version. The color added to the layer and the yellow dots are so great. Great Job as always. happy Stamping, Ellen Hinds
I love both of these cards. Would be happy to give either!!
You reminded me that I need to ink up this stamp. Both are beautiful, but seeing them together I like the stepped up one best.
