What the heck? That is a weird subject line so what do I mean….I adore peanut butter and jelly so when I say this, it means that that (2) great stamp sets come together as one…..and then I smile!
Today is the day that (3) new kids on the block come in as FREEBIE with Sale-a-Bration but I am showcasing my favorite pick – Pedal Pushers! The “jelly” is the Beautiful Ride stamp set from the Occasions Catalog! Pairing them up is fun!
Here is a flyer that will show you the 3 new kids……do you have a favorite? Please let me know and I will do a post with it!
You just have to smile when you see this new stamp set…so fun…so fresh…so nostalgic! The sky is the limit for what you can “FILL” in the basket….My pick – a dog of course…..I adore my pooches and even though I do not have a basket on my bike….my dogs love to ride in front of me on the 4 wheeler….seriously – it is so funny as I do not get on the 4 wheeler often but when I do – I always have friend!
I know that I am not a pro at water-coloring but that’s ok – as I have fun! The aqua painters are a must have to play with…the more you play, the more you figure out what works fro you! Remember, NO RULES….just have fun!
You can see the colors that I used in the below line up… – all I can say is just GO FOR IT…..have fun!
The new Black Archival Ink is simple the best! It gives such a clean and crisp stamp…works for water-coloring….but I will say, I would purchase a Ink Refill when you get it – it needs to be re-inked often (maybe it is me…but I find that I use the re-inker often) The coverage it fabulous – the only black ink you need!
This card had no dimension at all…honestly I was just playing around with a scrap piece of paper and this new FREEBIE – and then it worked, just like peanut butter and jelly!
The sentiment…the fun cans and the adorable dog is from the Beautiful Ride Stamp Set….LOVE IT – I have used it a bunch…..a total smile maker stamp set!
I have had great success with using the Thick White Card Stock to watercolor with (as long as you are not saturating the paper) and because this was the “trial run” – I just went right from my “trial run” to the finished project. I added this to a soft sky and then used a color that I do not use often, Basic Gray and it worked! – This color combination is great together!
The finale…the envelope! A 1/4″ strip of Basic Gray before adding the Subtles DSP Paper…another “Peanut Butter and Jelly” – It is just the BEST when (2) things blend together….
It is Tuesday and you know what that means…new weekly deals! – CLICK HERE to see the offerings this week! I just LOVE this time of the year…..Sale-A-Bration is the best, a FREEBIE for every $50.00 you spend…the best time of the year!
We have some nasty weather on the East Coast….come on Spring! I hope to see you back tomorrow as I have a video for you from the post on Sunday! Thanks for popping in….have a great day!

I love this card – It makes me happy! P.S. What set contains the little dog in the basket? Great touch! Hugs and stay warm on safe!
I love the card but your envelopes always attract me! I like to line all my envelopes too but yours are special. Would love you to do a little tutorial on them!
Hi Susan, such a cute card. Does remind me of spring . . . I think I read today about 34 days to spring? Not too bad. You certainly are making me want this set. I’m thinking about it. Have a great day and week. Be safe!
🙂
Thanks for showing us those two sets work perfectly together. Cute card!
So cute! I love it!
Very cute, fun card. Thanks for the details.
The no road ……good company would be perfect for the bike and the pup too. The puppy dog looks like he was made for this basket! So fun! I am guilty as charged, I really don’t know how to ride a bike. I never really had one when I was a kid. I had the use of a neighbors for awhile and couldn’t seem to keep balance and pedal so just didn’t bother. Maybe the bike was just too big for my short little legs. Now my tricycle was a different matter! Anyway, fun card and I like how you colored it.
Weather, we had some rain that turned to ice coating everything. It is just barely over 32 degrees so hopefully the ice will melt soon on the sidewalks and my windshield. Then, we are to have snow later today or tonight. Then 40s tomorrow. Weird weather for sure.
Dear Susan, What a cute card. I love it. You did a great job on the coloring. I wish that dog was in the set, it looks like it was made for the basket. My daughter is a coach bus driver.Kelly was coming home from a trip to Wadhington with a whole group of students and teachers from Buffalo,N.Y. .She was driving all night through that horrible snow storm. Thank you Lord she arrived home about 1:15 am. Thank you God. Great card Susan. Ellen Hinds
You can’t go wrong with PB & J! Adorable card!
