Do you remember that earlier in the week I commented that I was going to be so confused as to what day it was….well ~ all week I have felt like I am behind a day but it is the weekend so that in itself deserves a HUGE WOOT-WOOT!
I am super happy to say that all of the 2nd round of Product Shares are OUT THE DOOR and I tackled a HUGE MOUNTAIN this week with getting videos for my SOTM kits to upload (urgggg…computer issues)….I accomplished that….I feel great! 🙂
Speaking of great – how about this card!?!? I think that I can already see a smile on your face as how can you not be beaming when you see a FUN yellow (Daffodil Delight) and a CLASSIC navy (Night of Navy) paired together with white.
I am just goo-goo over this Bundle, and YES I said the BUNDLE as this is one that you would want to purchase in this as a bundle. Ok….ok – I am sure that some of you think that I always purchase a bundle….
Truth be told, I usually do but there are times that I think that I would not use both…BUT – this one….DO IT ~ you will not regret it!
I have shared with you many times that I feel like there is a HUGE “S” on my forehead as I am a diehard for sentiment framelits! They are simply the best and they always bring a project together!
I have had fun with this embossing folder and again….truth be told, it was out on my work area so I thought, WHY NOT?
The pairing of the yellow with the Floral Boutique DSP is stunning! Here is a tip for you….you can cut (2) of the embossing flowers out at the same time. YEP, it really is not that hard ~ just put (2) pieces of paper together when you run it through the big shot and then they match up perfectly for you to cut!
The DSP is 4” X 3” and then I cut it into 1” strips and then mounted it with green glue onto the navy that is 3 1/8” X4 ¼” – it really is easy to do and makes a great statement. The other element that makes this such a classic card is the scoring of all four sides, 1/4″ in!
For the “congrat’s” sentiment…guess what I did???? I was a “RESOURCEFUL SUSAN” and used the white cardboard that is in the packaging for the DSP to cut out several of the “congrats” and adhered them together before adding the Daffodil one…I wanted that extra lift!
Just think, you could make this card with a different sentiment, you could easily eliminate the sentiment and the end result = a FUN card!

Beautifully done! The colors accent each other so perfectly and it is a great classy look!
I love the panel look and the colors are beautiful together. TGIF. Have a good one!
Wow, gorgeous! I agree that this bundle is fantastic. Have s great day, everyone!
Beautiful card with those lovely colors. I love this DSP and how you created the panels with the sunny EF and sentiment. Just awesome!
Love, love, love your card today Susan. Yellow and navy have always been a favorite, and the DSP panels & embossed edge keep this card true to the classic look of your card. Well done!
I thought that floral print was a leopard print at first and the 70s bow-chicka-bow-bow music started playing in my head over your card–yellow and leopard, woo, woo! Okay, so it’s a floral… It’s still woo, woo!
I forgot that I get double paws this time! Another woo, woo!
Love this card! The colors just pop! And I am also in your shoes when it comes to the sentiment framelits. This one is definitely on the list!!!
Oh my gosh, this is drop dead gorgeous! Love the colors, textures and just the whole kit-n-kaboodle! I had to laugh at Princess Judy’s comment. Can you believe I heard that today? We went to an antique car show here – four blocks with three rows of cars on all the blocks around the city square. It is called the Tin Resurrection. They played lots of old music to go with the muscle cars and such. Fun, but I got a bit hot – sort of like this card – hot but fun! Those flowers look amazing and that scoring is just wonderful.
