I am super excited about the theme of this weeks Global Design Project Challenge as it is “Random Acts of Kindness”…this topic touches my heart and I just had to take a break from the new catalog to play along with this challenge!
We all need some “Vitamin D” at this time of the year as the days are shorter. I invite and I encourage you to take a day….take some extra cards you might have that you have made and…JUST DO IT – take some “me time” and write a note and send them out……trust me – your heart will be happy!
If you follow my blog (and I sure hope you do) – you know that I do like to use “fun foam or foam sheets” to add dimension to my cards and today you can see thst i used it with the sentiment….I personally LOVE the look and feel it gives!
How can you go wrong…the image of the “sun” with the word “sunshine”…to me – that is the best type of kindness that you could give! This would be an easy card to “mass produce” and you know me, I love making multiple cards when I sit down to have fun!
I hope that you will pop over to the Global Design Project Website and see all of the GREAT cards that are there…and then – GO FOR IT…we all need to share “Random Acts of Kindness”...trust me – when you do…you will smile, you will be fulfilled…you will feel joy!
Here is your 411 – Directory Assistance photo….FUN card – SUPER easy….TOTALLY timeless….HAVE FUN!
The month is coming to an end….but the beginning of October.…is a special day…WORLD CARD MAKING DAY….so I hope that you will find some time to make a difference on someones life….random acts of kindness are the best and there is nothing better than getting a card in the mail…..DO IT!!! You will 🙂
This beautiful, happy card would brighten anyone’s day! Thanks, Susan, for making my day brighter. ☀️
Your card would most certainly brighten someone’s day! Love the dimension that the fun foam gives; I purchased some the last time you highlighted the product and it’s both easy and fun to work with. Thanks for sharing!!
This card makes me smile! And you have inspired me – I am going to go through my ever-increasing stash of cards and send some out today!
Susan, You just gave me a HUGE smile! It’s an eerie morning here! We have thunder, lightning, wind, and rain! What a perfect card to find on your post! Thanks!
Your card will surely brighten someone’s day….it did mine!!? I am glad you bring some of your fabulous tips and tricks back around. I, for one, need reminders!!! Have a great day!!
I love this bright, sunny card to brighten someone’s day. Have a wonderful day.
Such a bright & fun card…great for the cloudier days of Fall. Love the fun foam technique. I use it too, thanks to you! Hope your day is as sunny as your card.
Oh just beautiful. I love those colors, my faves!!! The sun of course puts a smile on my face too.
Have a great hump day.
🙂
ok now you all will think I have gone all sappy or nuts. We were having an overcast cool day. I clicked on your post and the sun started shining through my dirty windows! I kid you not! There is still a lot of gray overcast but now there is a patch of blue sky too. Amazing! I had just come from the Paper Pumpkin post where a bunch of people were posting they didn’t like the kit, blah, blah, blah. Well, I had to give them a piece of my mind but I think I did it nicely! Use the darn kits as a Random Act of Kindness if you don’t like them! Right now I have a lot of turmoil going on and to think Monday I thought it was the worrying about the swap card, but I still think I will take the little bicycle card I made in a class to the bike shop. The owner puts out a bucket of water for dogs and he drew a basset looking face on it. I think Ted is one of his favorite takers. Trust me when the bucket is not out and we walked the extra few blocks, Ted is looking in his window! Anyway, fun card and good post. I needed the bright and cheerful card today!
Oh, I gotta share something else. On our walk I say a sign where a chocolate shop is setting up. They make their own wonderful treats from their home but decided to have a real store front maybe for the upcoming holidays instead of selling them in a couple of shops. ANYWAY, they have a sign that says FOR CHOCOLATE EMERGENCIES call and they list their phone #. That just cracked me up since they don’t have the chocolate on display even yet!
SO cute, do you get your foam on Amazon?
