Meet Parker, our new “House Swine”
Good Friday…and are you ready for some FRIDAY FUN!!! On Monday, I did a post with the Hey, Chicks Stamp Set and asked for feedback with what to name the new chick!
Please click here to see that post and then grab another cup of coffee and read the comments…you will be glad that you did it because not only is it a hoot…but it just shows this great fun we have together! I received probably 15 emails as well 33 comments with ideas of names.I have narrowed it down to a couple…so let’s see who wins!
We have a new guy, meet Parker. This is the FIRST that I have ever shown a stamp that was not a Stampin’ Up! Stamp but I just could not resist. Guess who gave me the “heads up” on this dude…Chris R….our funny and loyal Chris R. 🙂
Whenever there is a super cute card, idea or Stamp she always sends an email my way with a typical Chris R comment and when I saw Parker, I knew that he needed to be on Randall Lane! I did a google search for him and CLICK – SOLD!
Here is a funny about it – the company was called Stampingbella and when I just bought Parker (he was sad in his shopping cart all by himself) I fill in the comments section of how happy I was that there was such a cute stamp and that I have Dasiy-Mae etc…..and yesterday when I RIPPED open the envelope there were (2) more Parker stamps in there with a super sweet note of Daisy needed more friends!
Wasn’t that the best….you see – another example of kindness…..this MADE my day that someone knew that paying it forward would make another persons day!

Here you go – you can vote on a name…..(this is all new to me) 🙂 Phillis is the chick on the left!

Here is a good picture of the girls…as I said on Monday, Phyllis needs to get a “touch up” – her roots are showing! I just love these girls and I knew that I just had to introduce you to Parker. He arrived yesterday in the mail and I SQUEALED all the way to the house and couple hardly wait to INK HIM UP!
Sorry for the long yada…yada…yada but I want you to read this comment from Monday – this made me laugh. I think that this is a super cute story and you bet that every time I eat a sugar cookie I will think of this!
Here is another funny and it is soooooo strange because what a small world we live in. In reading Chris R comment she said that her Grandmothers name was Effie…..my G-Grandmothers name was Effie…..now I ask you – how many Effie’s do you know…..that is a super old fashion name but I thought how ironic!
I can’t wait to read your comments about Parker….he is one handsome dude and I will tell Daisy about him! I was so excited about him that I just had to share him with you!I did use the watercolor pencils on him with the Blender pens. His face was blushing bride and I used the aqua painter!
Please remember that with a 75+ order with me this month, I will send you the blender pens…..now that we have these fabulous watercoloring pencils, its always great to have the pens plus you would have qualified for a Sale -a-Bration freebie!
He is also our “Super Hero” for today’s Inauguration….let’s all hope and pray that our country has a safe day. 🙂 See you tomorrow for Simple Saturday…..I am featuring a stamp that I have YET to feature and one that I am sure that when you looked at the catalog you thought, Susan will but this one! (can you guess????)

Hey, dontcha mean when Parker arrived you squealed and coukd hardly wait to Oink him up??? By the way which one of the chicks is Phyllis?
oink him up . . . carol’s comment is genius. Parker is one adorable dude!
Harriet! My vote button would not work so hoping this will do? LOVE this post!
Love the “oink him up” comment from Carol. Parker Pig is super cute….definitely a super pig! ?
Agree with all of the above. How funny is “oink” him up!!! . . . and he is a super cute dude.
Happy Weekend everyone.
🙂
Susan, you have the BEST followers! “Oink up” that cutie, indeed!
I love Parker! I have two great-grandkids named Parker! A boy in WA and a girl in KS.
You all are too funny!!!! I laughed out loud when Parker appeared on my screen! Perfect for you Susan!!!
OMG where in the world did you find Parker??!!?? He is porkfully perfect!!! I am “rooting” for Henny!!! Too much fun going on here!!!??
Parker is precious! And – “oink him up”. LOL!! Too funny!
Oh that is the sweetest stamp I have seen in a while!! Cute cute cute! Love the coloring Susan 🙂 I am going to have to resist visiting Stampingbella lol…
I voted & Henrietta sounds like an old country name, so I went with that. Love the “oinking” him up by Carol! You all are such a “hoot”, LOL! I love reading your blog posts the best, ’cause I almost always leave laughing…brightens my morning coffee! Hugs, Susan!
I voted for Bertha ‘cuz years ago I worked for a company that made copiers and the nickname for the largest prototype was Big Bertha. This chick is a Big Bertha!
Holy Porky !! A Super Pig !! How funny ! I changed my mind about my name suggestion for Phyllis`s hen friend . I liked Bertha ,but I think Henrietta (Henny) suits her better .THE REASON I said BERTHA IS BECAUSE SHE JUST LOOKS LIKE BIG BERTHA ! Maybe the other hen could be BERTHA 1
How much fun is this ??? I will not visit STAMPING BELLA . Between Amazon and SU I spend WAY too much as is !!! GIGGLE !!
Well, when pigs can fly! That pretty much sums it up for today.
I am busy today making valentine cards for kids in the hospital. Now, not having kids or grandkids I am not big on making kids cards – good grief what do I know about it? But, in my stash and I was able to go right to them I found some great kid valentine stamps – a dog with a heart shaped balloon that says I WOOF YOU and a cat holding a heart that says something about furriends I think. I haven’t ordered the water color pencils but using my own and they are still darn cute. Better yet I am using up a bunch of paper! Plus, I went right to the stitched dies and have a very cute heart that is stitched and so I cut it out with the small stitched die and then a corresponding color in the bigger stitched square to mat it. For the inside three is a I LOVE YOU that is done in cross stitches. I have yet to even touch my Paper Pumpkin stamps or some other stamps I have collected. So, I think I am doing really well for me! They can’t have embelishments on them or ribbons due to choking hazards. But, I have some fun heart stickers I can use. I haven’t even dived into the heart embossing folder yet.
Hogs and kisses everyone!
Oops, too quick on the post comment button. I hadn’t even ordered Parker yet for you or me so I am tickled that you bought one but they added more! I will have to oink, I mean ink, up my dancing pig for you someday as you are tu-tu much! Yes, she has a tu-tu on. You know being from Iowa I do have some pig stamps!
.Pokey is so so cute. Sure is a cute Pig card. Where did you find him? I sent you a package today with a card ,gift, should be there on Monday. Love you my dear friend Alyece
Parker is perfect! Love his costume too. I must confess that I own my share of Stampingbella items (sorry Stampin’ Up) and they always make me smile. I’m sure you will enjoy him!
Parker is a cutie ad I have to say that Stampingbella does have some cute stamps. TFS
