Here you go…..a video that will give you the ins and outs on how to condition your stamps to get a clean and crisp image each and every time. I think if you watch it….you will see the steps that I take to make sure my stamps are in the best condition to get a great stamp.
After you hit the play button go ahead and hit the you tube button therefore you can go directly to you tube and then subscribe, also hit the show more and you will see links (but I added then below as well)…..
Just remember, you need to give your stamps some “love” to make them work for you in the best possible way. Think about it this way….every stamp has a tendency to stamp a bit different ( I think you know what I mean) as there are some that are perfect from the start and then there are others that….frustrate you – just work with it!
Please go to You Tube and subscribe to my channel…I plan to keep continuing to add videos (now that we have a higher upload speed) I say YIPPEE!!!!!
When you view the video on You tube, you will see all of the links to the products I mentioned….but if you are viewing it from here –
Well…what do you think? Does it makes sense to you? Will you try it? To me, it is well worth doing this to have great stamped images! Thanks for popping in – see you in the morning!
p.s. – Happy Valentines Day!!!! Doing anything special?

Good Morning Susan, I just finished watching your video. WOW … very good. I liked all the hints you gave us in one space … chock full of info. Looking forward to more videos from you.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you too!
🙂
Love your video! I agree with Nancy…..thank you for all the tips and hints and can’t wait to see more videos. Happy ❤️ day to everyone!
Loved the video. My new stamps should come in today and I’m going to do this. Thanks for the tips. I’m going to also look into getting a Misti. This would really help when I mass produce cards. Have a great day!
Found your video to be super informative. Thanks!
Well done! Love the visual on how you condition your stamps!!! And all the tips along the way are great! I now need something to keep the Absorber in. I was so surprised when I came down the morning after I got one and it was all stiff! ? Silly me! But I do love it. I still love the Stampin’ Scrub, all depends on what I am doing. Looking forward to more fun videos! And p.s. Happy Valentines Day!!! Something Special? Going to play ice hockey with the old guys!
Great advice Susan thanks. And very good video. I will subscribe and I look forward to more. I will start conditioning my stamps with versa mark.
I clean my stamps with cut up old washcloths, wet and wrung out. The terry cloth loops get into the grooves of my stamps. Then I use the dry stamp scrubber to dry it.
Fantastic video with the step by step instruction-well done!! Thank you!! Appreciate all the tips! Can you tell me what the name of the stamp sets you used in the video too? Thanks again…looking forward to more tips and videos!!
I really like the video!!! Great tips and I want to thank you for sharing so openly with us!!! I have been stamping for years and really am still learning!!! Thanks again!!
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!!!! ❤?❤
Thank you so much for sharing your tips. I am trying this today. Keep those video’s coming, love them.
Awesome tips on using the old stylus to pick up the magnets or using Washi Tape! You’re right, those magnets are strong! Also great tips on conditioning stamps! I’m going to give that a try. TFS!
Great tips. I usually only condition stamps after they stamp poorly. I’m trying to get better at remembering to do it first. I use scrap text weight paper instead of cardstock and sometimes wonder if I would be better off with cardstock to see how the stamp reacts to it. I have a ready supply of scratch paper though.
I have a question for you. Like with that Thankful stamp that is now stained dark. If you were to stamp in in a light color, say pink, would it come up out muddy? Or is the stain going to stay put on the stamp?
Valentine hearts to you for a great video and also, well, today IS Valentine’s Day! I could not tell you had a cold at all! So many fun tips and ideas you shared with us! This old dog learned a lot! I like the black archival ink on polymer stamps – the staining shows me the stamp easily and I know right off the bat if it is upside down and real crooked. I still have trouble lining up straight and need to work on that though I think it has something to do with me. Even my nose is off center so how can stamp straight!?! Love the idea of the washi tape on the magnets and using the old stylus. I want to try the paper cactus on the pad and that end will probably work well to roll on the piercing mat pad. The one with the scoring set has smaller ends. Somehow if I shared the video with Mike, he wouldn’t appreciate it. I think if I look at the fun things on Amazon and they show up on the side of the screen now and then he might take the hint for my birthday next month, more so. Doing something special today, Ted was sick last night so I need to treat the carpet again as I missed a spot. Any videos or special products for this?
Love the old stylus tip . I am planning on getting the magnet bar because a lot of people doing the reviews say it is a lot better than having to use all the smaller magnets and of course it is on Amazon . I have never pretreated with Versa mark . I usually wash my stamps in Ivory soap first before using . I use the Absorber (thank you ,Lisa Poe )
I really think there are some great “Stamp Pro” hints here . Breaking a stamp in (so to speak ) never crossed my mind . One I learned a few years back was the one you did with leaving the stamp on the paper for a bit . Also when I learned that SU Whisper White and Very Vanilla are specially formulated to work with their stamp inks I did an AHA !!
When I get a card from you I always marvel at how crisp and perfect your stamped images are !! NOW I KNOW !!
Thank you for your Valentine`s gift to us !!
Happy Valentine`s Day !!
I loved all the tips you shared in ;this video. What do you use to moisten your absorber cloth, I will certainly condition all my stamps from now on,
Good video Susan. Good tips too. I don’t have a chamois, but am wondering if a “shamwow!” would work. Will give it a try. One tiny criticism – maybe a little less talk at the beginning – would cut down on the length a little. Otherwise a very smooth video with good info. Thank you!
Thanks for the video, Susan! I enjoyed watching what you do with your stamps. It’s just odd to me because I’ve never heard of anyone conditioning their stamps before. I’ve had 3 different SU demonstrators (because the first 2 quit the business) and none have mentioned doing this. Maybe it’s something new or just something that you do.
Great tips. I love the idea of washi tape on the magnets. And also the stylus and I have one of those. I am a happy, happy misti user.
What a great video and you explained things so well. I have not been conditioning my stamps but will do it when my order arrives tomorrow. Thanks for all your tips on Tuesdays. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and John.
I look forward to Tuesday’s just for your fabulous tips! Thank you Susan!
Love the tips and I’m going to give it a try. Can you give us more information on the absorber and how to take care of it. I don’t understand how you can continue to clean your stamp without getting ink all over your fingers! I also heard you can’t let it dry out. Thanks so much! Love the video!
Hey, Susan! Thank you so much for the video — I really appreciate the idea of the chamois as a buffer. After I texted you about my stamps, I called the Customer Service line and got some tips on what to do about the poor stamping quality I was experiencing. One of the tips was to stamp on something very thick and “squishy.” It worked! The Valentine’s Day cards were saved and I have received lots of compliments on them. Thanks again for the video and the tips on conditioning my stamps.
