Now I ask you…is doesn’t get any easier than this…..right???? But also I ask you….don’t you think that is super cute? This is the first time that I have blogged about this stamp set, All Things Thanks and I think that you can see below in the stamp image, it is a great stamp set. We always seem to need “thank you stamps” and I think that the sentiments and fonts are super!
This literally is a “minutes” card to make – the most time consuming part (and actually it is not bad as it is always rewarding) is the heat embossing! The card is a 4 1/4″ square card and then the center strip of Navy is a 2″ X 4 1/4″ piece and then the Watermelon Wonder are thin slivers, 1/8″ and then adhered! SO SIMPLE!!! 🙂
The fast ease of this card was by covering the whole front of the card stock with this super fun DSP that is part of SAB so with a $50.00 order, it can be your for FREE!!!! (I say yippee as we all love these goodies). The card is completely flat (something that I rarely do) but I will say, I think that it is handsome!)
I love the boldness of this unique paper offering. I say, how can you not go wrong with the classic look of Navy and then a POP of color! Works for me! You could easily make this a regular size card or also a notecard…just make the adjustments! I think that anyone would love to receive this classic!
You can see that the custom envelope and the fun back flap pulled it all together! It is so easy to make a project complete ~ once you get into the swing of it, you will always give your envelopes some love.
Something that I forget to do and I honestly do not know why….I used (3) enamel dots and I LOVED that simple accent. I think that the color against the navy screams WOW!
Here is your picture to “PIN’...it really is so simple, you could copy this without any help!
I am having to go out of town today….so with that said, I am fearful that I will not have time to whip up a post soooooooo I think tomorrow we should have some BLOG CANDY!!!!! 🙂 I love to read your comments when we have Blog Candy!
With that said, pop back tomorrow to see what I have up my sleeve and maybe you will be the winner! Thanks for popping in and I hope that this clean and simple card has lifted you UP today!

Really cute card, Susan. It is clean and crisp and gets the job done. I love that DSP pack. I hope your trip is a fun event. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us tomorrow.
So striking with white on navy for the sentiment!
Good Morning Susan, Love the boldness of this card. I think the size makes it pop even more. The envelope is wonderful too.
🙂
Those enamel dots are the best! They look great on your beautiful card and love your color combo. Have a safe trip and looking forward to tomorrow.
Fun card and colors are dynamic ! Mary Ann is right ….the DOTS add so much even though they are not overpowering ! Love these balloons ….pondering on that SAB selection next !!
Love this card! The white embossed sentiment just catches my eye and did I say I love love love the envelope???? Who wouldn’t smile when they received this card??? Safe travels!!!!
Love the navy and watermelon together. Great format too.
I am not sure if it lifted me up out of my rut completely but it sure made me smile. It so bright and fun as is the envelope! It maybe only took you minutes to make but I would still be trying to decide if I wanted Mint Macaron or the other colors of the balloons for the sliver. Of course my white ink pad probably wouldn’t work out with embossing and then do I have any white embossing powder? Always something gets in my way. The enamel dots are just the best and I love them. They are one of my favorite embelishments. I was going to use one for Mr. Moose’s pompom on his hat since the little jingle bell was too thick but then that meant I had to go back upstairs to get them and my bigger ones are limited in colors. So, then I would think about using one of my big pearls and color it and then which color to make. Just always something! I do love the font of that stamp too. So fun. Blog candy tomorrow – count me in on that! Hope your trip is for pleasure and not anything serious medically. Stay warm – it is really cold and windy here today.
Great idea with that paper! I love the paper but on the fence with the stamps and dies.
Great timing! I need a birthday card today, and I’m just going to switch out the sentiment and done!! Easy as peanut butter and jelly. Thanks a bunch!
I SO agree that DSP is gorgeous with Night of Navy! Reminds me of how sharp those sailors are in their dress blues!! This card is perfection…classy, stylish, and the sentiment is beautiful embossed in white!
Your card is super cute!! I love cards that can come together quickly yet still have a WOW factor! This card has both! 🙂
What a wow card! You really hit it out of the park on this one. Such a simple but effective card. It shows how you can use DSP even if you have no stamps or thinlets that coordinate. Thanks for sharing.
Love this CAS card. It is great when you let the DSP do the work. TFS
