Good Morning and things are in FULL SWING here in Richmond. Here is a quick post showing you the goodie bag that I made using the Paper Pumpkin kit from March (the bunny bag) that I blogged about yesterday!
Read to the bottom and you could win one of the sweet bags!!!!
Did you realize that you can cut many, MANY things from the Big Shot can be cut with other material than just paper? Well, it can and it’s easy. Today I am using felt….and I have some great pictures for you just to see the details and you can see that the edges are clean and crisp – just like it does when it is paper.
The framelits I used are the Flower Fair Framlits…and I used good old green glue to adhere! You can purchase felt from many sources but the felt that I used for these sweet bags I purchased from Taylored Expressions – I love the colors that they have and because this is a wool felt~ it cuts like butter and the edges are perfect!
You know me by now….I ADORE Bakers Twine and use it often. Because I love to save time…you can see that I added the button with the green glue and then tied a bow (2 strands cause’ it looks FUN this way) and then adhered it right on top of the button….EASY – DONE!
I love shots like this….it is so rewarding and just plain FUN to see a bunch lined up in a row…I was so happy to be able to change up the “Bunny Bags” and make into something totally different.
You know that I also love to use up products that might not be current because – WHY NOT? If you liked it before and purchased it…..YOU LIKED IT THEN….and guess what – you will like it AGAIN!!!
The ribbon I used for this sweet little purse was a past product…and the buttons – I have a big Mason Jar filled with them and each and every day that I see it – I smile as there is nothing like seeing a bunch of colors together!
Now to the BUCKET OF YUMMIES….there are 14 of us so I made some yummies for us to munch on throughout the day! It is
to be here with so many amazing men and women and I have to say…..I received the Catalog last night….AND YOU ARE GOING TO SMILE – it is FUN.
I was saying it is like how you felt that when you were a child and the new Sears Catalog….but this is EVEN BETTER to have this magical feeling as adults! SO FUN!
Here is a picture that we just snapped at convention before I hit the send button to you! From left some of my team members……Ramsey, me, Jeanie and Deb. (Bridget is at another table but we will get more pictures)
Last night we were talking (again like kids in their jammies talking into the wee hours) – it is so fun to be a PAL……I am proud to be a part of Mary Fish’s group and what is so fun and unique…..no matter what city a PAL is attending a convention…..WE ALL RALLY together and we are a BIG family…..having a great time….the 14 of us!
Until later……there will be lots to share and trust me, I will have some FUN SWAP cards for you! I am having the time of my life and my “JOY TANK” is filled to the brim. I love meeting and see old friends and gaining new ones. I wish that each and every one of you were here!
Leave me a comment on how you like my little bag….and I made an extra one – FOR ONE OF YOU!
You see….this is another reason to take advantage of Aprils Paper Pumpkin – just do it for one month – as it is AMAZING!!!!
******UPDATE******* – I just saw a SNEEK PEEK of the Below Paper Pumpkin and if you know me well enough…….and YOU need IT….and if there are refills – I will be a ca-zillion – AMAZING!!!!! HANDS DOWN – the most unique and just FUN kit…..but remember, you have to order it by the 10th – don’t wait….just DO IT (as Nike says) 🙂 now before you forget!********

Ah, someone is missing from that photo….oh, it’s ME! Man, am I green with envy! You ladies are looking good and I know you are having so much fun! I can’t wait to see the catalog…it truly is like being a kid again waiting for the Christmas catalog to arrive!!! Enjoy the rest of your time there today and come home with lots of new ideas!!! <3

I never miss your posts. The use of the April bunny bags for purses is great.
What a great loot bag for a girls birthday party.
Fun fun! Have a great time! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Susan, your bags are adoreable and I really like the felt flowers. What a great way to use those buttons also. Have fun and can’t wait to see some more photos.
Susan, You did an amazing job on these little goodie bags. They are so sweet. I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip. Say hello to Mary Fish for me. Hugs, Ellen Hinds
What a great idea Susan! I just love the combination of colors that you used. Have fun!
I love the bags. It was a really great idea to use felt. I love the colors.
Very cute! Nailed It framelits would make cute decorations for a guy as well to house some goodies for Father’s Day as well as a gift card maybe. Wouldn’t the little embelishments look cute on the bag with the tools? With the flowers or the succulent you could add packets of flower seeds for Mother’s Day or just anything. Boy, now not only do we have to think outside the box – we have to think outside the bag now! I can tell I will not be getting to sleep tonight thinking about what I can put in these vs how to decorate the bags!
Would love to win this, Susan. It was great seeing you today in Richmond;what a super On Stage event!
There’s not enough days in the year to case everything I’ve seen and want to make from your blog! Darling use of the bags! So jealous I’m not there!!
These little bags are so cute! They would be perfect for my Seniors. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love, Love, Love the idea! Thanks for sharing!
Super idea!!! Wish we all could be in Richmond….I know you will come back with more great ideas to share with us.

Okay ….sitting watching COPS and decided to check back and read the comments ! Yes, Chris you did miss something …..my not completely focusing this morning ! Of course the BS was used ! Can you imagine my frustration if I had TRIED cutting that felt on the TRIMMER !!!!!
I am late to the show…..but I wouldn’t miss it! Thanks for sharing the picture of you and friends/team from the convention. What fun!!
I love the felt flowers and decorated bags. So clever and bound to make us all want to do the same!!!! Color combinations are endless!!! ?
