Well…the day is here – that is the day that Stampin’ Up! is offering to you 3 new offerings from the great group of Sale-A-Bration products. This year there are (2) tiers of offerings.. at the $50.00 threshold and then some at the $100.00 threshold….We are at the half way point as Sale-A-bration ends March 31st! This IS the sweetest time of the year with Stampin’ Up!
Today I took this yummy paper and did a simple coloring using the light and dark Old Olive with the Stampin’ Blends. They just glided over the paper to add some pizzazz to this simple card. It is super hard to get a good picture of this paper with the camera because of the Silver and Copper foil…but from the polls that I had on my blog, you all love this paper!
Below are the 3 new offerings for Sale-A-Bration…
You all know that I adore sentiment fonts in a die cut and in my opinion…we could never have too many as they just leave an impact and also make creating a clean and simple card a breeze to whip up in no time! The below die word, “celebrate” is from the Celebrate You Thinlits…also a Sale-A-Bration freebie!
I know that we are all so funny about our paper….some may call it hoarding…others may call it an obsession….but I call us “Proud Mamas of Beautiful Paper” – a title that I am proud to call myself. The problem is that we are fearful of cutting it…but come on – we DO NEED TO USE IT as the next reality we need to face is…there will always be other great DSP!
You can see that I did use it sparingly but it still has a great impact. The simple coloring of the leaves made a POP and then the focal part of the Old Olive Card Stock allow the sentiment to really stand out!
Do you have the blends yet? If so…..I know that you are lovin’ them as they go on like butter and if the answer was nope….I don’t have them…then I ask you…WHY NOT? The Blends are an Alcohol Based Marker that just glide over the paper and IF you wish to use the light and the dark to produce some “shading – blending” …you can do that with ease…hence the word Stampin’ Blends!
The below images will show you the wonderful colors that we have and my fingers are crossed that Stampin’ Up! will continue to come out with more and more colors. These colors match our line of cardstock and inks….something that we all love about the Stampin’ Up!, the color coordination!
One question that I am often asked…Which colors do I need 1st?
With a big hmmmmmm I say – all of them! YIKES??? I know, I know….they are pricy but trust me, they are worth every penny as they take us to the next level. True, you will not use all of the colors all of the time but I do think that you know…there are always time that we need to reach for a certain color etc…and once you get them….you will quickly see that you want the collection and yep…
I get it as I am a – I want it all kinda gal
Why do you want to continue to pay for shipping when you get 2 colors….and then add 2 more etc….I say with pretty much confidence….I think WE ALL have plenty of stamps to play with in our homes…but there are times that we need to invest in supplies and these Stampin’ Blends are well worth it!
You know the easiest way to get them….yep, here comes the scary stuff…..I can see you running (or shall I say clicking) me away but as we know that Sale-A-Bration is the sweetest time of the year…..as yep, you can get the whole darn collection….a $121.50 for just $99 and it ships for FREE….(that is another $12.15 savings)
Then you can pick ANY 2 stamps of your choice (ANY!!!)……with the Ultimate Bundle – no strings attached…..no need to make one more purchase and yep….you have ALL of the Stampin’ Blends PLUS 2 Stamps of your choice….all for just $99!
I love people that love to craft, I love people that like to have fun, I love people that appreciate a discount EVERY single day…..it is as simple as that….PROMISE! Please feel free to email me if you have questions……or simply CLICK HERE and pick your goodies!
Love the springtime foils, Susan. This is a very pretty card and your coloring is awesome! Have a great weekend.
Ummm I think the paper is now my first choice lol. My 2nd choice is the basket and now my original is now my 3rd lol. Funny how that works. This paper is stunning colored.
Pretty card and one I will be CASEing though probably with birthday or thank you instead of celebrate. That is just me as I don’t seem to use that sentiment very much it seems. Whatever, no big deal. I love this paper and excited I decided I had to have it. I think the olive colors were my first pick of the new blender markers. I just ordered two more color sets – the pink pirouette and Bermuda Bay colors. I decided my pigs look to sunburnt with the calypso coral color and ivory isn’t doing much for me either. I need to just play with the colors I do have which have seemed to add up by adding one set to an order now and then. Maybe I need to color some flowers while I watch the Olympics so at least I am productive!
Hi Susan, This card is stunning…. I would never have thought to color the paper.. I thought it came that way…. just beautiful… Old Olive is one of my favorite colors…
Thank you.
Hi all!
Love the card and the amount of new paper making a huge statement.

You have done it again Susan! Your card is over the top beautiful!!!!!
Great ! Now there is more paper on my HOARDING list !! I had not planned to get the foil dsp …because I had a couple of other choices on my list of SAB items . LOVE coloring with the Blends and your card is really pretty with the added touch of color . SO….. also I think maybe there will be a couple of added Blends colors in the new BIG catty . WONDER WHICH COLORS ???
Lovely card, Susan! Coloring the foil paper is such a great idea–easily done and so effective a design device. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am a little behind in reading your blog. For some reason I am unable to sign into your “follow” system. So I have to log into your website each day, rather than view your blog on my email.
Anyway, I love this card. Love the coloring on the foils. Great idea. I too am having a problem of sticking to my selections of the “free Items”. To many likes, not enough $’s to get it all.
Thanks for your inspirations.
