Now don't get too excited….there are times that it is hard to step something up that you are super happy with just as it is…but I think that I did it, even though the changes are not drastic!
Remember that these 2 day posts are intended for you to see how there are other ways to make a change and still have a classic yet simple end result! I am the very first to realize and understand that we all have different supplies and today I am using a product that I rarely, rarely use….the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.
Let's get to it and hopefully side by side you can see them and then the more detailed pictures will give you a better idea of the differences! One this that is for sure…we all have different takes on things and there is not a "right or wrong" way to do things.

Here are the major differences…..
- I took away the enamel dots and pearls and replaced them with the cherry cobbler dazzling details.
- Matted the focal piece with a piece of Always Artichoke
- Added a sliver of Always Artichoke underneath the sentiment
- Popped up the Matted piece with Stampin' Dimensionals!

Now here are some tips:
- I would still use the Sahara Sand around the holly image as it really makes it POP!
- To make the slivers of paper, I like to use the "RIGHT HAND SIDE" of the cutter…I find that I can get a straighter cut.
- When using the dazzling details….squirt a small amount on a piece of scrap paper to get it flowing…..this will help with "BLOPS" and then BE PATIENT – it takes a while to dry!

Yesterday I forgot to mentions that YES, I did use the Vanilla Coaster Board…that is like the white gel pen to me….could not – would not be without it! I just thing that extra step of cutting it out is soooooooo worth it as the end result is fabulous! I always use the "green glue" for adhering!

I know that we are coming to the home stretch with making Holiday Cards but this is a super quick one that you could mass produce in no time! Remember, it is the thought and the effort that people remember….not the perfection…..
The home stretch is coming to our fabulous sale.…remember that tomorrow is another DOOR BUSTER day so remember…the early bird will get the worm! Shopping from home is the way to go for me!
Please remember to use the hostess code of 4JUNK3R7

Wow….it feels great to be back to a Simple Saturday! It has been 2 weeks since we have had our 2 day posts and I hope that you can see that this is both simple and fast!
The life saver to this card is the Whisper White Note Cards – I adore them as I love the quality of the paper and I love the price! A double WOOT-WOOT! It is hard to get a great picture but this real red foil is stunning.

In a crunch time for a card? This is a super card to whip up! You all know how much I adore sentiment framelits….and how can you not resist with the super fun word of falala!!!!
The sweet and simple holly is not only a classic but it is super easy to watercolor with the Aqua painters (oops, I forgot to add that to the list so here you go with the colors I used as well! The colors are Pear Pizazz and Always Artichoke
To the outside of this holly stamp…I simply use the Sahara Sand Ink to do a quick "wisp" of color around the image.

A couple of quick accents to the holly makes an instant pop …there are times that you do not have to do much to make an effective accent1

I adore white space but I thought that the ribbon would be the perfect touch to break the space….sometimes just a bit is all it needs! I like to adhere the ribbon and adhere it to the back and then tie a simple bow and adhere it with a glue dot! Easy….peasy!

My first "peep" is leaving today but yesterday it was a fabulous day! Besides the normals that I love…the kids, the animals etc….we went bowling and took my Dad! It was a hoot and oh so much fun…..he did not want to play but they had a "ramp" that you can put a ball on and push. We had a blast and he score a strike!
Have a great day and if you are traveling, please be safe! I hope to see you back here tomorrow….to be inspired by the stepped up version!

Are you still FULL? I truly hope that your "Turkey Day" was a great one – mine sure was!
I have been trying to inspire you this week with some "keepers, in my opinion" of items that are a part of the Online Extravaganza that Stampin' Up! is offering to us! Remember, click here to see the offerings and I adore the fact that Stampin' Up! has them "blocked off" by 20%, 30% etc…..
For you to see, understand and really get a full understanding of how I adore making these baskets, I encourage you to click here to see a post I did before as it clearly shows you specific details! This is one great die and it is even better that it is 20% off right now.

Today I am showing you a "sneak peak" of an upcoming product suite called Love Blossoms. Not only is there an incredible stamp set and framelit (yep, its a BUNDLE) and the DSP paper stack is super fun! This is a print from the stack! I think that it is a super one and I was able to do the basket and the card and envelope from one sheet (6 X 6) paper! Again, click here to see the scoop on this great basket!
I am the 1st to say that I realize that making the decision to purchase a die is a commitment. True they are a bit pricey but you have to look at the big picture….you will use it over and over again as this is a keeper for so many holidays! I do recommend using the Vanilla Coaster Board….This makes it super sturdy!

This sweet and simple 3 X 3 card is the perfect little touch in making this a complete gift. The square framelits are on sale as well….they are 20% off right now but the real gem that is a must have….is the magnetic platform which is 40%. I cannot image what I would do without this….what a time saver!

Remember, DOUBLE Paw Prints Rewards for all orders placed with me during this fun SALE time……and also remember to use the Hostess code of to take advantage of the SANTA…..and Silicone Mat – Click here for those details!

It's the BIG day before the BIG DAY….the smells from my kitchen are getting me super excited! Isn't it just amazing how we all seem to enjoy the process of cooking….preparing the feast to just sit there afterward and feel like you are going to POP! Sounds familiar?
I have a confession….I truly did not realize that this stamp set was still available! I am guilty – if it is not in the catalog, it is quickly "Out of sight….out of mind"! This great stamp set is 20% off and I think that it is super special. I can remember one of the best tips that Mary Fish gave me when I first started was….when in doubt between stamp sets….buy the sentiment one!
This is called Lovely Amazing You and it is funny….Mary blogged about it on Monday….I guess we were on the same page in thinking that it is a stellar stamp set!It is 20% off this week and I just had to share it with you! (I loved it so much, I used it as a Stamp of the Month Kit last Spring)

I want you to HANG ON with me and then I do hope that you give this card layout a try – it is one of my FAVORITE layouts as it is different and super fun. This also is a great way to use up scraps so here you go – a quick rundown of tips and tricks and I hope that you will try it! (let me know if you do – I love to see your work)

- The overall size of this card is a 4 1/2" square Card
- The BEST way to make you look like a pro is to take a piece of 4" X 4" paper and then POP out whatever colors and prints etc with the 1" square punch….and start adhering them to the upper left corner using the green glue.
I like to go straight across on a row and then do the next row etc….this way the whole piece will be covered up and your friends are going to think you are so darn talented (well, you ARE) and then you can mat this to another piece of paper a bit larger, 4 1/4" square!

- After I adhere all of the squares, I go to town with the gel pen….this makes a HUGE difference and it is just plain fun! Did you notice that I tool the Rose Red pen and colored in some of the hearts – FUN!
- The sentiment was stamped on a scrap piece of paper and then matted to coordinate with the color scheme for the day!

- Let's talk about punches…..you know that I adore our punches and I firmly believe that SU's are the best on the market! This Sweetheart Punch is 50% off this week making it just $8.00 – you know what I would say….GET IT – it is a classic and the shape of the heart is so fun and classic!
- To finish a custom envelope was in the cards today….I laugh at myself as when that first came out I fought it tooth and nail as I thought that I would never "get it" – it is soooo darn easy and even if you missed it on the deals Monday….it is just $20.00 and well worth every penny!

Well do you think that you will try it? I sure hope so as it is a ton of fun! Below is another card I did with this same sentiment several months ago….Is is amazing the difference between the 2….very different styles but both super classic!

I know that there have been several of you really…..really questioning about getting a starter kit….this is my take on it – First why not as you really have nothing to lose, no obligations to stay or do anything….just think of it as you are going to a store and getting $26.00 worth of free product and it ships for free – (That is another $12.50 off) $26.00 + $12.50 = a savings of $38.50!
If there is a bunch that you like that is on sale…it is the best bang for your buck….
The other great perk is that you can turn around on Thursday December 3rd and order the new goodies from the NEW catalog, a perk that most SUD's love….Do you realize that 96% of SUD are strictly hobbyist….please feel free to email me if you want to chat – is truly is as simple as that!
Enjoy the day…..get ready for GOBBLE-GOBBLE!!!!!
