Have you ever had someone that came to the plate for you and you were all smiles and speechless at the same time? Well this is what this card is all about to me!
Many of you know that follow my blog know that I am computer challenged…I have received many, many emails about my blog header still saying "February"….and other areas of my blog that needed updates etc…trust me….I knew!!!
On Wednesday, I had an email from a fellow PAL, Michelle Gleeson saying that she knows that I needed some help with my blog! You have no idea how I felt – just to think that a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator knew that I was having obvious troubles to come forward and offer help!
Well…you can see that I have added some side bar options for navigation and shopping and this weekend I am going to tackle the Blog Header ( heck we are closer to February now!!!!) I know that I am my worst enemy in not believing in myself when it comes to computers!!!
So the moral of the story is THANK YOU Michelle…..as you are One in a Million to be so sweet and kind! It truly is an honor and a special feeling to be part of the PALS!

Is this a super simple, sweet card or what! Let's talk about easy-peasy too!!! Once again, I used the whisper white note cards and envelopes to whip this up! LOVE THEM and you need them……click here to order and you will be sooooo happy that you did – they make a perfect size of a note card!
Being the "white freak" I am – I cut a piece 1/4" smaller than the card and then matted it with Island Indigo…love this yummy color! The fun and in trend "Off the Grid" Stamp made a simple yet fun background stamp!

Inking up the Million & One Stamp with the Island Indigo I made a simple stamp right on top! How easy is this! Thinking it needed a bit more interest I popped out a bitty butterfly adorned with 3 small pearls and then gently bent it's wings up!

The Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon tied in a simple knot was the perfect finishing touch to the balance and fun of this card!
TIP ALERT: – you have heard me say this before….but I will say it again, purchase the Craft Scissors and ONLY use them for ribbon – you will get a clean and crisp cut every time! (Click on a photo to see up close)

Lifting this whole piece up with a bunch of Stampin Dimensionals made this a quick yet beautiful card….but hold on….the finishing touches of using the new Envelope Liner Framelits along with the vibrant Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper…was the perfect finishing touch for my thanks to Michelle!
I am all about "random acts of kindness" – this is something that I learned from my Mom…each and everyday I try to make someone smile, help someone or just be a good listener! Michelle's reaching out to me means so much!
I made the commitment to blogging and I truly love it! True, it takes a lot of time but the pay off far out weighs the efforts! I have met people from all over! Nothing happens over night and I am determined to continue blogging for you!

I thank you for having me be your Stampin Up! Demonstrator and I would love for you to be a PAL as well – to feel the support and friendship we have! Please email me and let's talk!
I hope this has inspired you! Until tomorrow…..

- Pulling from the coordinating colors that compliment this DSP, I chose Island Indigo in the standard A2 card size but scored it on top!
- Pulling out the simply "must have" trimmer, the Stampin' Trimmer, I cut a 1" piece off the right side of the card! This trimmer makes doing cuts like this a breeze!

- Inking up the snowflakes from the Festive Flurry Stamp Set in Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party I then used the coordinating Framelits to make a clean and precise cut with the help of Mr. Big Shot! – TIP ALERT!!! – the links that I have just given you are for the Bundles…why??? = simple = why not…you'll save 15%!!!

- Before we go further, I need to say that the new Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot is simply the best – I know that this item is still on back order and we all know why it is on back order….cause' it is ONE HOT ITEM!!! This is a lifesaver and you will just love how it saves you time and frustration! You can still order it and it will ship as soon as it is in stock!
- Next came the never fail, stamp-a-ma-jig to help me get the sentiment "just right" – this is from the Snow Day Stamp Set….another cute one!

- I adhered the bigger snowflake 1st and then using Stampin Dimensionals, I POPPED the 2 smaller ones before popping this whole white piece onto the card base!

- A finishing touch to the snowflakes were the Candy Dots from the Regal and Brights Collection – these little guys are addictive to use…simply love them!
- I added a piece of Whisper White to the inside and also tucked in 2 more snowflakes…you know the inside needs TLC as well!!!

- The envelope …one of my all time favorites to do is super cute with stamping the front and also lining with the help of the must have Envelope Liner Framelits Dies!

Does this make you feel like having a big old' Ice Cream Cone! This is one of the cards that we assembled for the Breast Cancer patients this month….I thought the sentiment was a perfect and uplifting message! I am sure you have seen many versions of this type of card…but this is my take on it!
Not not only is this cute…it is super fun and what a cinch to make! I asked me dear daughter some "color guidance" for this one and she looked at me and said "How many scoops" – after I answered her she looked at me with that priceless look your child can give you and say….."well that a no-brainer"!!!
Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry…
Needless to say, I cracked up laughing and simply said will do!!! So here you go! You know me….trying to think out of the box – with this card you could change up the sentiment for a birthday…a get well…(wouldn't it be perfect for someone getting their tonsils or wisdom teeth out) – you could "tuck in" a gift card….ideas are endless and fun!
Here's the scoop for me to enable you today! Remember, you can click here to order any of these products and also remember that every highlighted product will allow you to see the details of that specific product! Click on the picture (on the edges) to make it BIGGER so you can enjoy the details!
- The colors of today are….Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Strawberry Slush and Chocolate Chip – sounds yummy!!! Oops..real red for the cherry!
- The "key tool" to making this is the Cupcake Builder! This super fun punch can make soooo make fun ideas…just google it and sit back and enjoy!

- The "cone" was a simple POP using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch! ( you could also score or use an embossing folder to add textue to your cone…but this was super easy!)
- The sentiment I choose is a carry-over from last year….and it's a winner. Perfectly Penned has 4 great sentiments that can be used for many cards – The thing I adore about it is how the font is "swirly" …always brings a WOW factor to a card!

- The other highlight of this card is a simple yet fun and useful Framelit….the Labels Collection…I just LOVE all of the framelits and it is HANDS DOWN a tool that you need! We now have sooooo many of them and they truly make a great and effective accent!

- The accent that I realize is an additional step but the end result creates a wow…is using the Paper-Piercing Tool and the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack creates a depth that does make a difference! I know…I know…one more think to do – but just look at the impact it makes!

I hope that this post makes you want to go to your favorite Ice Cream Shop or better yet….sneak to the local grocery store and get a great Ben & Jerry's….the rest is history!

Tomorrow is the PALS BLOG HOP…and it is showcasing the new Holiday catalog showing the favorites of 30 Stampin' Up! Stampin' Pretty Demonstrators! Please pop in and be inspired!
Email me if I can help you and until tommorrow….

Everyone
can use a special “L O V E “ card…and this fun card will continue to let
Matthew know that we love him and are thinking of him and his family!
This
card is really straightforward but here is the scoop that you all love!
- The Card base is your good old stand by….A2 card size of 5 ½” X 4 ¼”! I
also used another piece of White cut a smidge smaller to work off of as the
“lifted base”
- I punched out each of the letters with the retired 1 ¼” square
punch…but if you do not have that…your trimmer will do the trick easily!

- Using a scrap piece of black card stock, I made a vertical base to
highlight the fun and bright letters! Just “eye ball” it and lightly mount them
to get them on the perfect spot before you give the final “push”
- To jazz up the “O”…I thought a white Button from the Neutrals Button
Collection would be a fun touch and add dimension! Threading the Real Red 1/4”
Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon was the perfect choice and using the mini glue dots
makes it easy-peasy to hold tight!
- Before adhering this to the white base – I thought it needed a bit of fun
so out came my main man….Mr. Big Shot and his help from the Tasteful Trim Bigz
XL Die to create the fun Real Red Rick-rack!
- This Rick Rack is another SUPER DUPER way to use up scraps of paper!
Sometimes I go crazy with odds and ends of scraps and making cuts with this die
is always a lifesaver to jazz up a card! The adhesive I always use to adhere
the rickrack is the 2-way pen! I Just love that adhesive!

- Adding some stampin’ dimensions to the back of this base and then
mounting it to the card base and DONE – one cute card made with “LOVE”!!!

- The front needed a bit of love as well! This “xoxoxox” stamp came from
the Holiday catalog Oh,Goodie Stamp Set and with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig
the placement was a cinch and the effect is great!
I
was on the fence for a long time before I purchased this Morning Post Alphabet
Stamp Set probably because I thought it was a bit pricy but I am glad that I
did! I find that I use it often for a initials for simple thank you’s and it is
great to spell out short words like “love, wow, joy” etc…

Sometimes
you just need to think out of the box and let your imagination guide you…this
is just what I did with this card today!
Remember
to tell your family and friends about my blog and please subscribe so you can
get a daily dose of inspiration from me!
This
coming week will be a fun blog week – on Tuesday we have a PALS Blog Hop show
casing our favorites from the new Holiday Catalog and on Thursday the weekly Pals
Paper Art Challenge! Lots of inspiration and ideas for you!
Enjoy
your day and I hope you will POP back tomorrow as I have a super simple thank
you card that you will not want to miss!!!
Until
tomorrow!

On Saturday I shared with you a very fun CAS card. ( Clean And Simple) Here is the link to refresh you!
Today I wanted to share with you some tips as I have received many emails of how so many of you liked it!

I forgot to give you the name of the sentiment! It is from the A Dozen Thoughts! It is so funny that I totally forgot to share that with you…as the other week Mary Fish had a CAS challenge for the PALS…there were sooooo many incredible cards and the one that I loved had this sentiment!
I actually went through the catalog probably 3 times…and could not find that "just because" and finally had to email the PALS to find out! I just love the font!

NOW FOR THE TIPS for TUESDAY!
I have found that when I use the embossing folders, there are many times that I think it is better to put adhesive ( my favorite for this method is Sticky Strip)… on the back of the card stock BEFORE you run it through the Big Shot!
Why??? I find it you put the adhesive on after you emboss it…when you go to press it down to your card to get a good "sick and hold", you press on the embossing and it flattens s a bit!

This works perfectly and it is a breeze to pull off and adhere!

If you choose not to do this…I would recommend that you use the Mono glue….this is SUPER strong, the only tip I will say is LESS IS BEST – this is super strong and you do not want it to bleed out! If you use this adhesive…you can lightly press it…wait for the hold to set and you are good to go!
The next tip for this cute card it the butterflies…after you punch them out…(2) for each card = adhere them together because when you "curl " them – you will not see the underside of the butterfly!

My favorite adhesive for this is the 2 way pen! I love this adhesive….I have a ca-zillion around my stamp area – this is how I adhere my liners to the envelopes! Just love it!

The best way "to curl" is with a pencil or something similar! To adhere is to the card – the BEST is the mini glue dots!
I hope that you have found this post to be helpful! There are so many different ways we approach things…please feel free to email me with some of your favorite tips and tricks!
This is what I absolutely love about Stampin' Up! and the whole community…..we are all here to help and share!
Thanks for popping by and please click here to order from my website and your goodies will be shipped via UPS right to your door…you will have me to continue to encourage and help you reach your goals!
Until tomorrow!

For all of you "Moms" out there…you know where I am coming from today! My oldest son is coming home and I cannot wait to see him! Will has lived in China for 4 years and even though he has been home for a week here and there….he is coming back to the states and will be teaching in Boston – I am SUPER EXCITED to have him closer!
Today's card will be by his bed for him to read a special note – a "love note from MOM" letting him know how special it is to have him home and how proud we are of him and all of his accomplishments !
Here is the highlights of this clean and simple card! The 1st thing I want to point out is that I used the Notecards and Envelopes…an item that you simply must have as they are lifesavers when you need something quick – plus they are a bargain – 20 cards and envelopes for $5.95 – WOOT-WOOT!!!!

This sentiment is just how I feel….as it is a "happy day" for my husband and I! This came from the stamp set Happy Day and but…is it a keeper!!!! It is amazing how simple sentiments like this can create such a great and effective impact! Another gem that should be on your "A list" to have!

The stamp set, Six Sided Sampler is the other "key" element to this clean and simple card. Now this is one that IS A MUST TO OWN…soooo darn versatile! Just Google samples using this and you will be WOWED! A quick stamp with Elegant Eggplant and a POP with the Hexagon Punch and then a lift with the Stampin' Dimensionals.…quick, fun, fast and DONE!!!

As you can see keeping things to a "minimal" it the key and fun factor to making this card special! I wanted to really focus on the "white" as I think it is always so classic!

The simple "bling" came from the 3/4" Chevron Ribbon in Crushed Curry( love this color)! I must admit…I was not a fan of this ribbon but not it is really growing on me…..it is super soft and you just need to "play" with it and it does amazing things! The simple Regal Button was the perfect touch!
The envelope came to life with the Regals Designer Series Paper….and the help of the new…Envelope Liner Framelit.…(hang tight – you can order it on Thursday)…

When most of you are seeing this post, my dear son Will is in the air on his long trek to the states! Please keep him in your thoughts for a safe journey….I am sure I will be a waterfall when I get to give him a big Mom hug!
Thanks for popping by and thank you for your comments! Let's all have a great week….
Until tomorrow……
