Good Morning! This is the 2nd card I am attempting to make this week using the Cycle Celebration Stamp Set and also the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper! This is for my Goddaughters 15th Birthday! I think it is super cute and will definitely put a smile on her face!
I need to clarify something…it is not my birthday this week…it is 3 of my friends birthdays! Trust me….this is my 50th this year in October and you'll know…but thanks anyways for all of the Birthday wishes!
Well….you know how the saying goes….there is a lot that can happen in 24 hours…well let me tell you – this is what happen to me Monday – Tuesday! It was all good as I was with my beautiful daughter but…this is what we had to deal with…Y U C K !!!
We went to a Horse Show at State College in PA and they had 5 1/2" of rain within an hour a couple of days ago and everyday since they have had a huge downpour everyday! YUCK!!! Fortunately for us….we were in and out within 24 hours but the rest of the barn is there for a week! I love being back and dry! She rode beautifully and her horse, Oscar, was stellar!

Now to the super cute card! Super easy to make….heck anything is easy to make if you have the right tools! Little by little as you build up your inventory of goodies and tools you will see how easy and efficiently card making is!

- I popped this up with the stampin dimensionals!
- Now to the fun part….Emerson is turning 15….so I rolled up a $1.00 & a $5.00 bill (the 1 does not cooperate like the 5…but it is still fun!!!) – simply put a band of the paper around and BAM! The flame came from the candle in the Cycle Celebration Stamp Set!
- The envelope line…..sooooo cute! I love these party hats…this came from the same Designer Series Paper, Birthday Basics!

I wanted to something more with this cute candle stamp….so why not stamp the outer part of the envelope as well? Doesn't this look fun!!!

2 down….one more to go this week! Birthday's in July are plentiful!!! Are you ready for the 4th! Hopefully you have plans to do something fun with family? This time of year always brings out lots of "grillin' while chillin'!!!"
Tonight is my monthly "feel good" when we make cards for Breast Cancer patients that are currently in treatment! It is a fun way to give back to your community and it is a wonderful way to get to meet volunteers that come to create cards!
Enjoy the day….and please tell your friends and family about my blog…you can simply subscribe right here ( in the upper right) and you will never miss a dose of inspiration!
Until tomorrow……

Now wouldn't you just love to open this envelope and see this cheery, bright and fun card from a friend! The bold colors and the sheer simplicity of it makes it a super easy…WOW card that can not only be made in a flash…it can be "mass produced" and changing the sentiment up…say a Happy Birthday…Thinking of you – you will have one "keeper" of a card on hand!
I wanted to use a nice and bright color for the backdrop of this card and Pacific Point was a great choice! I paired it together with Real Red and Pumpkin Pie and then it was super easy for me to find a liner for the envelope….I just went to my swatches that I bought from fellow PAL Brian King and looked for a series of paper that had Pumpkin Pie…and BAM – the Quatrefancy Specialty Paper jumped out and said PICK ME…PICK ME!!!

This card is so straight forward…no explanation is needed! I hope that you CASE this card as this simple layout truly produces a sweet card! Here is a quick run down of the scoop for the card!

Easy – right! I hope that you CASE away on this one as it is super fast…super cute and a card anyone would be proud to make!

The weekend is here and I hope that you have plans for "fun"!!! As always, I appreciate you popping by and remember that you can order at anytime ….day or night right from your home…simply click here and shop away!!!

Here is another square card…I just love being "square"!!! This new stamp set, Really Good Greeting, is just a fun stamp set! I love the fun and modern typesets they chose! When you look at the new catalog, there are so many fresh flairs of typesets….I think it gives a card a lift!
Have you even known someone that always works really, really hard but always seems to fall short! Well this card is for a dear friend that has just launched a very exciting business and it has reached a milestone that she never imagined could happen! I know that there will be a huge smile on her face when she receives this!
The sheer classic combination of the Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Crushed Curry really sets the tone for this card! The"patterned circles" came from the Afternoon Picnic Designer Paper and I punched them out with the 1 1/4 circle punch!
I must admit…I have been having a bit of a "brain block" with using the new 3/4" Chevron Ribbon…so instead of the "Susan knots" , I tried something a bit different!
Before I adhered the piece, I took a piece of the Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon ( my all time favorite ribbon to work with) and made 2 simple knots before putting a Regals Button on them!

I did a bit of "stitching" with the black marker to give it a bit of pizzazz! I think the circle are a "happy look"…kinda reminds me of balloons! Keeping true to my commitment this week, I did stamp the inside of the card and added 2 more of the designer paper circles! ( totally forgot to take a picture of the inside…sorry!)
Making the custom envelope was a cinch with the diagonal scoring plate! Start with a 7 1/2" square and score on all sides at 3 3/8"…take your paper snips and cut away the corner…add some sticky strip… – BAM….1 perfect envelope for a 4 1/2" square card! Naturally I added the same paper for the liner as was on the card….looks like the perfect finishing touch!

Bringing "sunshine" to someones day is so easy…if it is with a card…a simple phone call…a hug…a smile – we all have the ability to make a difference is another persons day! I hope that you go out today and make someones day! This is a goal of mine to do each and everyday, to get a simple "hello" or a smile in return is all I need!
As always, thanks for popping by and thanks for telling your friends and family about my blog! I would have never imagine a year ago that I would be doing this and I will say…true – it is a lot of work…but the work is paid back to me with your support and inspirations! I thank YOU!!!
Until tomorrow……

How about this for a Z O O M card that is super clean and cute! Just think of all of the color combinations and "feels" you could create with just changing the card stock! Another great thing about this is not only is it a Z O O M card to create…it uses minimal products!
This weekend Mary Fish is challenging her PALS to take part in a "Graditude Weekend" to wrap up the Stampin' Up! year! We all have so much to celebrate and be thankful for and she is challenging us to get our paper out and create some goodies for a contest!
This is my "Thank You" card for the PALS and I deeply thank each and everyone of them for their talent, wilingness to share, their constant support and teaching of new techniques, tricks and inspirations! WOW – what a blessing and what fun!

Naturally I wanted to use goodies from the new catalog and I wanted to keep it simple! I did a quick "surf" and found this technique from a SUD, Barb Mullikin, from 4 years ago! ( you see…great ideas live on…just do a couple of changes and PRESTO!!!)
Talk about easy!
- (2) squares – I did Crushed Curry (love it!!!) at 2 5/8"
- (8) squares of 2 different patterns at 1 1/4" squares ( I used the Afternoon Picnic Paper)
- Using the grids on my Stampin Up Grid Paper to keep them straight – I adhered them together and then PRESTO – put each of the 1 1/4" squares all the way around!

Love this stamp set for the sentiment, Lots of Thanks is an "A list" stamp to have in your collection! We always need "thank you" cards and this stamp set gives you many options all with different flairs and feels!
This is another stamp that I would "scruff up" with the sanding block to give you this clean and crisp image! Works like a charm each and every time!
After I popped up my focal part and sentiment I realized that I forgot to put a brad in the middle!!! No worries…the Candy Dots to the rescue! These are the best and not only are they easy to "pick up"…they are easy to place and they have a super strong hold! Just love them…..
To the envelope….the color is very vanilla to blend in with the card and I lined it with the Afternoon Picnic Designer Paper….please click here and go to my post on how I line my envelopes and trust me – you'll never send another card out with out "jazzing" up the envelope!

This will be a card that is super easy to mass produce and a great one to have a stash of "emergency" cards at your fingertips! I think I will use this design for my Breast Cancer Cards and just simply switch up the sentiment…..
Thanks for popping by and I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I am looking forward to watching my daughter ride today and then having a nice and quiet evening at home and cookin' away! I love to cook and I am excited to put my culinary thinking cap on and make something special and yummy!
Being a part of Mary Fish's PALS group is not only rewarding, it is just plain fun! I would love for YOU to also be a part of this fun team! Have you thought about becoming a Stampin; Up Demonstrator yourself and getting all of your materials at cost? Please email me and I would love to be able to have the opportunity to talk to you!
Enjoy this day and make sure that you allow "gratitude" to enter and always be in your heart!
Until tomorrow……
