Good Morning from sunny Mississippi! (I can remember when I was in Elementary School…I was so excited when I learned to spell this state!) You know how I feel about single stamps….they are your friends for may reasons!
- They are usually sooooooo simple and clean
- They are affordable
- They usually DO THE TRICK on their own….just like today’s card – one stamp – DONE!!!!

The single stamp is in the Occasions catalog and it is one that even if it was ever discontinued…he is secured a home for life on Randall Lane! WHY???? SIMPLE = it is super cute and it is a classic!

I realize that Easter is right around the corner but no worries with this single stamp! It is so simple to make a bunch of these cards and while you are waiting for your “sheep” to arrive, you can go ahead and make the rest of your card….address your envelopes and just wait for your friend to come!

This is a total “Susan type of card” – clean & simple! Here is a quick run down on the dimensions as I totally hope that you CASE this. Please make sure you pop back tomorrow to see how I “stepped it up a bit” and then you can decide which one you like better!
- Card Base = 4 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ square in thick whisper white
- The stamped white piece is 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ and then matted in Soft Sky, 4″ X 4″
- I did use the aqua painter and the colors I used were….Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Basic Gray fir his dear little hooves!

One thing that is great about a 4 1/4″ square card is that you have a choice…..I LOVE CHOICES!!!! You could use one of our regular envelopes and it will go through the mail at a normal stamp price or you can make your own envelope like I did today (you know I adore my custom envelopes). Another SMILE FACTOR….the sweet and fun Polka Dot from the Subtles DSP Stack….does the trick ~ QUICK!!!!!

Here is to a great day and I hope that my little friend made you smile!!! I look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow! Hit that SHOP NOW button and order this little guy so he can get on the “BROWN TRUCK” and make his trek to your home…a fun classic that you will not regret!
If I were you I would do (2) things when you order him……
- Make your order at least $35.00 and use the hostess code (look at the upper right hand corner of the post) and I will send you this card!
- I would BUMP it up to $50.00 for (2) reasons…..you will get a FREE SALE-A-BRATION ITEM plus (2) Paw Prints from my rewards program!!!
Until tomorrow…..I hope you can get “inky today” ~ can’t wait to hear how you like this card!!!! SHEEP ROCK!

Enjoy the parade of pictures and I will say…I adore the Sunburst Thinlits Die….this is one that I think many of you look at and say….”That looks hard to use” but quite the contrary….you can see that I used it today with the help of the circle framelits to many a “SUN”….I love this thinlit…..and in a later post I will do a FUN post using many colors! Fun…fun…FUN!

I love the simplicity of the card and you can EASILY see that you can simply change up the sentiment….and BAM – a NEW CARD! Simple Works…EVERY TIME! Off to bed…and early to rise tomorrow….
We are about 25 minutes away from the show grounds and Hannah needs to be on by 5: 45 a.m. – so another long but great day! Poor Milo, he LOVES being TOP DOG but these hours are really cramping his sleep pattern! Hannah and I laugh and say – He is sooooooo good – he is sooooooo special….we are sooooooo lucky!

Until tomorrow!
p.s. – Eddie is doing great! John and I had an agreement that while I was gone…..I really, REALLY wanted to know how he is daily and I am sooooooo happy that he is doing great – my little man is still loving his buddies and his tennis balls!

Happy…happy Thursday to you! Thursday are HAPPY DAYS for me as it is when the Pals Paper Art Challenge is and today is a sketch challenge and a great one at that I hope that you can grab an extra cup of coffee and pop over to the site to see what the other design team members came up with and then find some “me” time and play along!
Today’s sketch was designed by Patti MacLeith and it is a very fun one that can be interpreted in many ways! While I have been gone, I have been trying to send John some cards and this one was literally a 5 minute whip up wonder!

Remember how we have chatted many times about using up your DSP? Today’s card is a great example of doing just that! Look at how super simple this card it! It simply does not get any easier than this!

A top fold vertical card with a POP of color from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper. This colors are so rich and luscious – This piece is a 3 3/4″ square and then I just took a scrap of Rich Razzleberry which is 1/4″.
Being that I am away and do not have all of my supplies with me, I used the heart from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies but I would have used the sweetheart punch if I was at home…(I guess I am being lazy as it is so easy to PUNCH a heart) but this works just great!

Taking the Rich Razzleberry pen and making tiny dots around the hearts edge as well as the sentiment was the perfect yet subtle touch. You can see how simple this is and then you can see that you can use so many different papers and sentiments to create all sorts of cards!
Let’s chat about the sentiment…..it is from the Happy Home Stamp Set. This is available as a bundle and YEP – I would purchase this one in the bundle form. I know that I have not used this set a bunch, (that’s why I have it with me as I hope to use it) but I adore the font and the simplicity of the sentiments and fonts.

Have you ever made a card that you are very happy with but the pictures just do not do it justice? Well ~ this is how I feel about this card….it really is a fun and clean and simply card and I encourage you to try this layout. Sometimes the simplest things work out to be the best!
I know when John receives this …he will smile – he enjoys simple cards. I think that when we do something like this card we feel guilty because it was so simple. Why do we do that to ourselves? I know that I am guilty of this….anyone else out there?

I hope to see you back here tomorrow as I will be sharing with you the card that I will send to you with an order of $35.00 + from me this month (March) along with a new hostess code. I think that you will like it….and smile! Just think….we are in the final weeks of Sale-a-bration….so please make sure you do not get disappointed in not taking advantage of the great FREEBIES that are available until the end of the month!
Enjoy the day….I plan to…..Please pop over to the Pals Paper Art and see the fun…there are some AMAZING works of art!

Happy Hump Day! I know that you might be wondering….where in the heck did that super FUN gold FUN come from…..YEP ~ it is from February’s Paper Pumpkin Kit! I have shared with you before that it is so much fun to play with the products in the kit and think of it in another way….like I did today!
I knew that this would make a great masculine card and from the minute that I saw the FUN in the kit….YEP – I was going to use it in a different way! Today’s card is a 4 1/4″ Square Card (and that in itself is FUN) and then a 1/4″ smaller with the Rich Razzleberry and then the Botanical Gardens DSP (I love this print….very stately!)

The real FUN is the “cheers sentiment” that has been back~burner-ed for a bit….poor thinlit – it is all the way in the back of the catalog but it is a keeper and being paired up with the Vanilla Coaster Board….it is like PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY!!!
This is a product that I think is very overlooked in our catalog and I highly suggest that you keep some handy as it really does come into handy and quite effective! I cut (2) of them out and then used “green glue” to adhere them together!

I have been having a bunch of fun with this stamp set, Greatest Greetings ~ the font is fabulous and the sentiments are fun and fresh. I simply used a piece of scraps to stamp the sentiment on and then banner cut them.

Here is a breakdown that will help you see the products that I used to make this fun card. For those of you that are subscribers to Paper Pumpkin…this refill is available and YEP…I have already purchased some! Please do not forget that a 3 Month Subscription is on sale for $55.00 which will let you earn a FREEBIE from the Sale-a-bration item!!!

Clean, classic and fun – I thing that this card is going to make my special friend smile! After all, that is what we want….to share a message, a feeling, a warmth of kindness and then comes the SMILE…..it does not get better than that!

Do you remember that I shared with you that I was going Pensacola on Monday? Well….Hannah and I did that and had a blast….it was wonderful to see my brother and see his new home….but during that visit…he encouraged us to go to New Orleans ~ and guess what – that is what we did…..Hannah was up super early yesterday…..rode 4 horses ~ came home and showered and off to New Orleans we went!
I was AMAZED that it is only an hour away ( SILLY SUSAN ), when we are at the show…we are in our little bubble but I must say…it has been FUN to make some day trips!!!! We had a BLAST…WOW ~ what a country bumpkin I felt…it was super easy to get to and it was super fun!
I thank you for popping in and also hanging in there with me while I am away,,,,it is a juggling act to fit a blog post in…..but that is what is wonderful about Stampin Up! We can make if work for out lifestyles….Until tomorrow!
