Happy Saturday to all! Yesterday I posted a card for a friends Birthday. Tom is one special person to our family as not only is he Hannah's horse trainer….we are proud to call him our friend! He has kept Hannah challenged yet safe for many years!
He has a smile that never stops shining and he is truly one of the most positive individuals I know. He is truly one that thinks of the "sunny side" of life! He is soooooo funny as during the week he does not eat chocolate…Sunday is the day that he enjoys his favorite treats….Peanut M & M's!
Tomorrow the fabulous group of families that go to the barn are having a birthday party for him at the river! We alwasy have fun at the river and there are so many dogs that come…play…swim….just a great time all the way around! I know that Tom will love his card and goodies!
If you look at the pictures you will see that I made (8) of these pouches…why 8? Well….easy – there are 8 more Sunday's until Halloween and then I will restock him up with something else cute for his weekly treat!
Each pouch holds 4 packs of M&M's and you can see that I used just about all of the stamps in this super fun stamp set! Please click here to see yesterday post that I focused on the card. These adorable and practical pouches have an endless amount of uses. They are called the Mini Muslin Bags and are on page 200 in the catalog!
I love the soft, fun and natural look and feel of these bags! You can see that I added a piece of Baked Brown Sugar Bakers Twine and you can also see that I just simply stamped many of the images and the "free-hand" cut around the shape of the sentiment…no worries…just do it!
I must confess…I have never used these adorable clothespins and I am asking myself WHY!!!??? You know that I prefer simple over fussy and I always thought that they would be too distracting but I think they are what makes these adorable gifts!
So what do you think? Aren't they super cute? I am going to pile them in a basket and fru-fru it up a bit…a perfect gift! I find it so rewarding to make my own gifts…I say they are true gifts from the heart!
Have a wonderful day and please pop tomorrow as I have a SUPER SUNDAY offering for you! I am hopeful that you are going to love it and appreciate it as it is a gift of my heart to you….to be able to share my passion for simple and clean cardmaking with you!
I appreciate your time, you support and also your passion for cardmaking! I truly love what I do and I love to help and inspire you.
In closing, sad news…my dear friend Ted passed away. Although I know it is a blessing it is hard. I have fabulous memories of an incredible man.
Until tomorrow…..

Susan, I am so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. My thoughts are with you at such a sad time.
Heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Ted; I send hugs and blessings to you all. May the wonderful memories you have of him sustain you at this difficult time, and always.
God bless.
P.S. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these muslin bags and the clothespins are PERFECTION!
With my deepest sympathy. I hope his love and spirit live in your heart forever.
Susan, so sorry for Ted’s passing, but how wonderful to have incredible memories of him.
As for these money pouches filled with yummy chocolates, I say this is a “Wow” gift that Tom will remember for a long time! I think everyone loves to receive gifts that are created from the heart. Good thinking on your part…..enjoy your day at the river!
Perfect gift for Tom. He will appreciate that you made something specific to him and that you know him so well.
Sympathies on your friend’s passing. So glad you were able to spend time with him before he went home. No matter our age, it seems we are here such a short time, but this is only our temporary home. We are all just “passing through”. Enjoy Sunday with friends and family.
I’m sorry about Ted. I’m glad you got to go see him recently!
Your gift for Tom is cute! I’m sure he will enjoy every M&M!
Extra cyberhugs!

A big comfort hug to you !
Isn’t this just a fun set! Love the muslin bags and clothespins. Adorable.
Thanks for sharing with us!
susan, I am so sorry to hear that your friend passed away. keep your memories close
Hopefully all my new adventures of Teddy (TED – Tactical Explosive Device) will bring you many happy memories of your own friend.
I know your last postings of Murphy brought me wonderful memories of my own Murphy of a few years ago. Now, I gotta brush the tears away.
On to the fun stuff! These little goodie bags are so fun! At the office supply section at Walmart I bought a bunch of the little clothespins before SU had them in the catalog to clip on tags and such. They make banner a snap to display too. Maybe you can find some gold coin candy to put them in to go along with the cowboy goldrush theme! Make caramel corn look like gold nuggets? A burlap bow on the basket or a bandana in the basket? Fun idea for your friend! Great job my creative friend!
