Good Morning! I am sure that there are going to be many of you that are going to be going to the store today to get these adorable little Snowmen and Terry Bears! They are Lindt Chocolates and I found them in the grocery store – (as I walked by the candy section they "jumped" in my cart and said take me home)!!!
I only have 3 pictures for you today as this post is that easy…you can easily mass produce these guys and they make adorable place cards for your table. When I worked, I always made them and placed them on my co workers desk with a note…..they are just FUN to make!
Back in the Spring I did a post similar using the chocolate bunnies….please click here to see that post! Today's are just the same with the exception of 2 things.
- The embossing folder I used (for the bunny) is discontinued so I did not show it for today's post, I just used the Oval punch but if you do have that embossing folder, I would use it….(I like the effect it gives….but today I did something different and I also liked that!
- Also on the Bunny one, I popped out both sides and today I only did one side….why???? = the bunny you could see from both sides and these (2) I am showcasing today are (1) sided.
Let's get going and this is so darn easy!
- Take a 2" X 11" piece of card stock and score it at 4 1/2"…then flip it around and score it at 4 1/2" again….use your bone folder to get a good crease!
- Using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch….do both ends!
- Using the X Large Oval Punch, punch out the opening for your critters!
- If you want…run through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.
- I placed snail adhesive on the base of the project and squished some white fru-fru and then used several glue dots to adhere my critter!
- Add some simple ribbon….stamp the sentiment on scraps and DONE!
Now how about that for hitting that "Easy Button"!!! Cute, fast, fun….I guess the only down side is that you hate to eat them!!! (I must admit, I still have a bunny in my work area and even if I get a "sweet tooth"….I just can't do it to him!)
Many thanks for the emails and comments in wishing Hannah home. It is wonderful to have her home safely. It was truly an amazing experience and John and I are "taking the stories all in". It was very bittersweet to see her leave her new friends (28 of them) that were on this journey together over the past 4 months!
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, and do not forget about the clearance rack….this is the End of the Year Clearance while supplies last!
Today we are getting our Tree….always an exciting time. Please pop back tomorrow as it is Make it Mine Monday! Enjoy the day and be careful going to get your chocolate Snowmen and Terry Bears!
p.s. – below you will notice that I am using a new system for logging the products that I use in my post. You can just click on the picture and place it in the shopping cart or you can also print off the supplies that I use and keep it for reference for the future. ( click the supplies list link)
You might want to copy a picture of the post and keep it with the supply list and start a booklet of projects!

I made the bunny back in the Spring for family and friends and it was a huge hit. Definitely going to make the Christmas critters too…love to see the smiles on people’s faces! Thanks Susan!
Very cute!
Thought you should know that your posts seem to be showing up a day late for me. The one in my “in box” had the “…Hannah” title. It opened to yesterday’s post, but had the choice to see today’s post at the top, so I came to see the cute chocolate packaging.
Cyberhugs to you!
Oh, and thanks for the suggestion about ordering the flower wreath kit, even just for the burlap ribbon! Cheaper than just ordering the burlap ribbon, and you get more ribbon plus all the other flowers and things! One advantage to being in Europe is that I do get in early on things like that!
So cute! Thanks for sharing!
So fun!! Thanks for sharing.

Hugs Frenchie
So cute AND simple. Great idea for coworker, 12 days of Christmas, etc. As you have shown, it can be adapted for different occasions. I’m going to save the idea for our annual holiday Church Fair. Thank you for your inspiration.
Love your project…could crank out a bunch of these pretty quickly, too. Great fun and TFS.
Great minds think alike! I just knew you would be making these and putting them up today! I saw an ad for these candies last week but of course I went looking for them and didn’t find them. There was a huge Santa by the same company for $10 and a giant ball that serves as a candy dish with the Lindt truffles in it. Trust me, when I find these they will be hopping in my cart as well!
Photo and supply in a booklet – oh my word, I you trying to get me organized too?
So glad Hannah made it home safe and sound!
These are very cute and make quick and easy gift giving treats. I don’t tend to do much else besides cards but when I need to I know I can count on your to give me some great treat ideas!
ADORABLE!!!!!!!
Okay these rate 100 on the cute meter ! Perfect for my GD that has a birthday coming up this month ! And yes …I printed out the instructions . Sometimes I can`t get to projects with specifics right away and this is a big keeper ! Love Lindt chocolate …yum !!
Very cute, Susan. Will try to find some of these chocolates for the holidays. Thanks for the idea!
Susan,
This are a really cute idea for a little treat for someone special. Thanks for sharing. Wished I had seen this idea a lot sooner as I have already made other treats, but will certainly keep this idea in mind for future holidays.
Super cute and so easy to do, love, love this idea for party favors, I love that you embossed the panels, thank you for the directions, just so perfect.
