Wowzers, it's the weekend already and that means today is a Simple Saturday Card for you and please pop back tomorrow for Step it up Sunday where you can see the same (basically) card and then tomorrow I will "tweak" it a bit!
I do not think that there has ever been a hostess stamp that I have used more than this set and I adore the name, Time to Celebrate. (This will be one that once it retires, I will still keep it as the stamps and sentiments are so much fun.) If I were you, I would email me and let's make a plan for you to earn this! – It's a keeper!
Probably the #1 reason I love this stamp set is because so easy and fun to color without having to do a lot of thinking! Let's get to some fun pictures and scoop for today's card!
Today's card is in Pink Pirouette in a vertical fold and the 2 rectangles are the same size, 3 1/2" X 3" in Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush. Just a quick off set does wonders in a jif but the real pop is the white dashes with the gel pen and the POP with the stampin' dimensionals.
Using the Aqua Painters is both fun and easy….just practice and practice and you will learn that the are fun. So many of you are intimidated by them – they really are a great tool and wow, so affordable for all that they can do, just squeeze your ink pad and go to town. NO RULES….just do it and have fun!
Last but you know me…I would never not have a fun and special envelope…this was a breeze as I pulled out the All Abloom Paper Stack and PRESTO – magic happened with the Envelope Liner Framelit!
Well…thoughts……now can't you see how easy this card comes together in a jif! You could easily change up colors and POOF – a new and different card – this is one of those "keepers"
Please feel free to email me or leave a comments….LET'S TALK ABOUT COMMENTS…you all made me smile so much with yesterdays comments – loved them! I am going to do another "Spring Cleaning Tips" for you next Friday!
You all know the scoop… the products I used today are scrolling below….feel free to shop away or also if I were you….HIT THAT CLEARANCE CORNER – there are some real keepers!
See you all tomorrow!
This is a great card! I love the stampset – another one I’d overlooked until now!
Very cute card. Thank you for sharing.
Susan, I love this card just as it is now, I can’t wait to see the tweaked version tomorrow. I need to get me a white gel pen, the line of dashes really makes the top panel pop.
Lovely colors, this are my favorite shades of SU pinks.
Thank you for sharing.
Love the design.TFS
Great job as usual. I love the pinks.
Another great card! You rock that stamp set. I really like your combination of colors, too! I’m two years behind, so I have not done much with Strawberry Slush. I plan to use it, soon, though. It is nice to see what goes well with it.
Thanks for sharing your talents! Each Saturday, I have really liked your “simple” cards. Then, since you’ve been doing the stepped-up versions on Sundays, I have liked the stepped-up ones, as well!
Cyberhugs!
What a fun card!
This card is adorable “as is” so I’m excited to see your stepped up version tomorrow. I also love this whimsical stamp set; the pictures are all great to color (that worm is the cutest!) and I love the hand-written sentiments. Have a super Saturday! P.S. Caleb lost his second tooth last night so we used his Tooth Fairy container again. I would recommend refurbishing a SU! Embellishment container to anyone looking to make a “tooth fairy box” or any type of sentimental keepsake box.
WOW! This already looks stepped up with your special touches (layers, dots, and dashes). You have convinced me I NEED this stamp set. LOL
Cute and love the colors ! I am a PINK lover ! This card is definitely a “Keeper” . I stopped in yesterday in a hurry ,but did not leave a comment ….loved your list . FUN !
Always love these Saturday and Sunday postings !!
That is just too cute. Great job. Can’t wait to see what you do with it for tomorrow.
This is very pretty! You are right, the gel pen and dimensionals really add a pop.
Such a fun sweet card! Pink always seems so happy. Would it be possible to have a demo on how to use Aqua Painters? Or if there is a video already done would you point me in the direction. Thanks for the sweet inspiration.
Great card I have to make a card for my son so with a change in colors I will have a fast yet great card for him. Thanks for the inspiration.
Found some nice videos on using Aqua and Blender Pens on Pinterest. You’re safe , Susan– no need to create more. I know you are busy enough.
This card is so pretty! I can see it in many different colors! I love this set and can’t wait to CASE this great design!
Pretty in pink! Great card to make in many colors and I love the way you angeled the matting! Can’t wait for tomorrow!
