Well…are Mondays a good thing or a bad thing? I am embracing today as I am putting my foot down to no more Kleenex’s….no more pity parties…time to move this sickness train on and hopefully SQUISH IT so no one else gets the bug!
In 8 days…..there will be 3 NEW Sale-a-Bration items becoming available for you with a $50 purchase….and I think from the chats I have seen – YOU ALL really – REALLY like them! Today I am using the stamp set, Reverse Words. It is fun and unique!
Hands DOWN – I adore this stamp set – you all know how I feel about great sentiments and free-hand words like this! I think that it is brilliant and that font is….. oh so special! I ask you, how can you go wrong?!?!?
I took the “meat “ from this FREEBIE stamp set and then the “potatoes” are from the super great “fall back” of Cottage Greetings in a super simple banner!
Below you will see a picture that you can see the sequins and some FUN dots made by a product called Nuvo Jewel Drops….they are super fun – very easy to use and they come in a huge array of colors – the biggest “head up” is…be patient and let them dry and they will stay “perky through the mail”
I love the look and feel that they give…It is one of those – secret touches that make a big impact.
Here is my “smile” picture…darn I love when everything coordinates! This paper is from the Annual Catalog, Moroccan DSP and I have used it a BUNCH as it lends itself to so many clean and classic projects! The “In Color”, Delightful Dijon will be walking the plank on June 1st but I do not know if you are like me….it takes a while to learn to love and appreciate these In Colors and I am personally going to miss this one!
Here is your picture to PIN…this card today is a great example of how something soooooooo incredibly simple can be soooooooo classic! Be simple…be brave…..you will be happy!
Speaking of being happy…Pop back tomorrow as I have a video for your “Tips for Your Tuesday”.…it is all about conditioning your stamps as we need to think of our stamps are like a new pair of shoes….they need some time and TLC before they are comfy!
Enjoy your day…and I hope to see you tomorrow!

Lovely card ! A simple design with a huge impact.
Simple works!
I like this card very much. The stamp set as a certain “punch” to it, being reversed. Looking great!
Happy Monday.
🙂
I agree, this stamp set has a high WOW factor! LOVE IT!
Love this – The reverse greeting is super and the simplicity of this makes it one I want to case! Have a great day!
CASE away my friend!
Super card and the envelope goes beautifully. Who wouldn’t love receiving this card!!!to day is Blizzard Day here so I expect to get plenty of craft room fun in. If you are in New England, stay safe……it’s a wicked one!!!!!?
Oh no….really – you are getting hit again? I need to call my son in Boston – have a FUN day having ME TIME in your craft room….sounds like a PERFECT day!
If you had given me the stamps and the color I would never think it would work. But it is perfect!!! Love the color and the contrast of the sequins and the drops. And yup, I have some drops in my stash that got organized the other day with my new bead storage box! Here’s to a healthy day! The wind will blow those germs away!
Oh boy, new stamps and new bling to play with and it looks like you had fun! But, I think you are not totally well yet – you listed Daffodil Delight instead of Delightful Dijon in the products used section. I was looking to see if you used vanilla or white for the base and I noticed it but who really cares. I like that SAB set – I love splotches, swooshes etc and if there is a word in there that is even better! I just read Ramsey’s comment – why wouldn’t the Dijon with all it’s richness work – like a spread of mustard over a stencil! Now, if you used the daffodil yellow you could add teeny flowers or something on the lines of spring for the bling and it still would look fun! Sounds like you are feeling better or at least ready to be better!
Hi Chris, I was not a Delightful Dijon fan but I will say that I am growing to love it! And the stamp was out of the box and it takes me a while to come around. Now I can’t wait to try the Reverse Words! As for the Dijon, I am a little late to the party on that one! I never got the in colors for ’15 to ’17. But I have the ’16 to ’18 and am loving them!
Fabulous in Daffodil Delight!
Susan ! You have that COLOR THING !! You always manage to use color that gives me that “Why did I not think of that ?” moment ! I like Delightful Dijon ,but rarely use it . I was debating last night whether to order some more of the 2015/2017 colors because I am down to strips of Mint Macaron . I used DD some this Fall ,but not since then .
This card looks great with the sequins and drops complimenting the color !! I
I have some of those drops in pastels . The bottles are pretty as well as the colors !!
Hope you plan to do those Medallions soon because I have not seen them demonstrated on any blogs that I visit so far .
Weather here will be in the 70`s this coming weekend !!! Just thought I would mention a plug for N.C. !!
Put on your To Do list ….GET WELL !
Great simple card and the reverse greeting looks like a keeper! I like how you added a strip of color down one side only and those “drops” match perfectly. Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s video. Enjoy your day.
Dijon is walking the plank???!!! It’s one of favorites and I love the moroccan DP, both are on my wish list because you are the queen enabler. I like those drop things. I like the flatter embellishments since the PO is getting so picky. I’m not as keen on this greeting set as others are. I’m always gunshy around bold stamps.
