Wanta a super quick, super fun, super unique "pick me up" for someone? This is the easiest and fun idea and is a breeze to make up!
Yesterday I had the honor of going to our local Breast Cancer Organization to participate in a program called, "Camp Hope". I prepared for 30 ladies that have all been effected by this terrible cancer in a day of celebration and FUN for them! We did 3 projects together and they loved this one!
I received the inspiration from Stampin' Up Demonstator, Angie Juda. When I was asked to do this project I went surfing the internet and I found this super cute idea so here it is! I did follow her video but I also added the back piece to the container! This way you can use one cut of a designer paper at 4" and get EVERYTHING decorated! I thought it was just a super cute and clever idea!
The best part of my day was that not only did I have a blast….my heart was super full! True, it was a lot of work cutting, stampin and prepping things that could be easily assembled for the ladies….I it was worth every bit of my time and I had a blast!
The paper I used was the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper…..so beautiful! I made all 30 boxes from the paper and I still had a bunch left over! I used the coordinating card stock as my bases and I wish you could see how they all turned out! The ladies LOVED them! The Stamp was from the Oh Hello Stamp Set!
Another thing I changed from Angie's video was that I used the Floral Framelits as my flower…..super quick and easy and I always am looking for an excuse to pull out my main Stampin' Man, Mr. Big Shot!

Centering the "Oval Cut" is super easy with just a scrap of paper cut into the shape to be your guide! I used the Extra Large Oval Punch POP – soooo easy!

After you pop the oval….put this piece on and then you can flip it over ( next picture) and then agin use the Oval punch to do the magic! Voila!!!! Centered Perfect!!!

I did feel like the back needed to be covered – plus I had a piece that fit it perfect!!!! Just way toooo perfect that you can do all of this with a 4" X 12" piece of paper!

I hope that you enjoyed this as much as I did! I was very pleased with the end result! I am excited come up with some great projects this week! Today is going to be beautiful in MD but I am surely going to make the time to "fill you up" with some real keepers this week!
As always, I am an email away and I also love and appreciate your comments! You are the heart of my business…you are the reason that I blog daily…and you are the reason that makes me love what I do and feel great!
Don't forget…FREE SHIPPING TODAY!!!! There is nothing better than getting free shipping and being able to do so in your own home!!! Have fun clicking away and your items will be delivered by that great "Brown Man….Mr. UPS" to your door! How easy is that!
Until tomorrow!

This post is a different one but I just had to share it with you! If you have just "HOPPED" onto my blog from my wonderful uplines blog…than welcome!!! Mary Fish has showcased an unbelievable Easter Parade of talent that is sure to inspire you!
Below you will see my carrot from a post I did earlier this week!

Today I am helping out with an Easter Egg Hunt for little ones and I needed to do a couple of "fun and busy" ideas to keep them from getting into trouble…is this an old classic or what!!! How many jelly beans in the jar?!?!
Classic are always the best…and what is anymore classic than a good old "Mason Jar" – all I did was jazz it up a bit using some Stampin' Up goodies!!! I think it is fun and fresh and really showcases the jelly beans!

You can see how little touches and literally 5 minutes made this plain jar go from "boring to WOW"!!! I used the 3" Die circle for the top of the jar and do you remember this fun paper??? It is from the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Paper (from the holiday catalog)! See…it is not just for Halloween…right!!!
Around the jars lid I used the simple Natural Trim Ribbon that is featured int he Spring Catalog, super easy to work with and I love the natural, soft and classic touch it gives! Around the rim of the jar – I tied a simple piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon ( again – super simple to work with) and then threaded a big button – put a couple of pieces of a very thin sheer Calypso Coral ribbon – knotted it – done!! BAM – that's it…..and how cute!!! I took scissors and curled the ribbon just like you would do the tails for a balloon! Doesn't this bring a smile to your face!

I love what I do and I hope that it shows through my blogging! I would have never imagined than less than a year ago that I have been able to grow so much through the wonderful exposure of Stampin' Up! I am a true hobbiest and became a demonstrator to "support my habit" and to be a part of Mary Fish's Pals group! I do work full time and I love the "cyber friends" that I have made through the PALS!!!!

Yesterday I told you that I had something special to share with you today… and I think this little carrot is toooooo cute! Hopefully this little gem put a smile on your face as well as getting you excited for Easter!
Another reason why this means so much to me is, it reminds me of my late Mom. Every year, my Mom would buy my children carrots filled with M & M's from her hairdresser – something that she did each and every year and something my kids loved! Spring was one of her favorite times…loving to see the beauty of change with daffodils blooming, warmer weather arriving – just the feeling of change and putting Winter behind us! I know she would be proud of me making this!
This post has made me think that I need to do a video…I will do my best to try to explain but as always – please email me of I can be of help to you! I have been receiving so many emails …and I love and cherish each and everyone! Thank you!!!!
The backdrop of this gem is using the Petal Cone Die and running it through my main stampin' man, Mr Big Shot, the carrot is coming to life! The paper colors I used were tango tangerine and gumball green! When you adhere (in my opinion) any 3-D projects – I always like to use the Sticky Strip…it is the best!

Do you see the printed paper, it is from the Print Poetry Designer Paper cut into 1'2" strips. TIP = much easier to adhere this before you seal the cone tight! Just let it hang over the edge – fold the cone and snip….do that the whole way around – ( see, wouldn't a video be easier)

Flipping this over, I punched a 1 3/8" circle punch after drawing a line on pencil as a guide to keep the circle even! Using the sticky strip again, I adhered a small piece of Window Sheet to allow my candy to peek through!

Next I adhered the green scalloped pieces and then punched a hole on both sides. Pulling a piece of Gumball Green Satin Stitched Ribbon I then threaded it through a big button ( it was a discontinued Deck the Hall Button = but you can use any big button)
Pull the ribbon snug making it even and then knot the end of the green ribbon! This will act as a "pulley" for getting your cone open and shut!

Next, take a piece of 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and thread it through the opposite 2 holes but just let it open. Lay several pieces of more vanilla ribbon ( and I also found a cute piece of discontinued green)

After laying the pieces on top…now take the ends of the ivory that you put through the button and knot them…and knot them again – just to make sure that they are super tight! Now you can have fun….open and shut….open and shut….I am sure you are saying WOW!!!! It really is a neat idea…..right!
II I I just love the look and fullness of the ribbon…you simply can't have too much!

Oops….I almost forgot – take a piece of scrap gumball green paper and pop out a 1 3/8" circle and then using the Fancy Flower Punch you've just made a super sweet flower to frame the peek hole for your candy!
Can you see through the peek-a-boo hole the candy – it is so cute! Reese has a yummy treat with a super cute bunny on the front! I thought it was the perfect choice!
If you have not already done so….please click above on the right and subscribe to my blog! I am committed to blog each and everyday to inspire you! There are soooo many talented stampers – each and everyday I love looking at others works of art to get my creative juices flowing to inspire you with my works of art from my heart!
Have a super-duper day and I hope that I have inspired you today! I love your comments and I try to respond to them!
I have made a dozen of these carrots for my loved ones….I know they are going to love them and I have also made one for my Dad, as I know he will say…." Your Mother used to buy carrots at Easter for your children!"
I love what I do and I love inspiring you….until tomorrow!

Super quick…super cute…super fun! These little gems whip up in a 1-2-3 and this would be a great project to make in quantities if you were looking for a wow factor + a functional gift for gift cards…candies….movie tickets etc…This is exactly what I needed for a little gift for my son's girlfriend Lydia! The colors I used remind me of her – fun, fresh and makes you smile!
You can make 2 boxes out of 1 sheet of paper! How easy is that! The Simply Scored Scoring Tool makes this a breeze and the key product in my opinion in making 3 D projects sturdy is using the Sticky Strip Do you want to know the dimensions and "scoring scoop" on this quick and easy project? Click here and I'll be glad to share them with you!

Using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die and the On Board Sheets to cut the initial out – this simple yet wow touch added the depth to the project! Naturally, my main stampin' man, Mr. Big Shot, did the hard work in cutting this out but I have a super tip for you….
When cutting out these initials – I use a 2 x 2 piece of chip board…adhere my colored card stock on it…FLIP it over and put stick strip on the back of it BEFORE I run it trough the Big Shot, this way all I have to do is peel off the sticky strip and presto!
You can see that I used a piece of card stock for the handle…you could also use ribbon – that would be super cute but I liked the idea of the card stock and I used a brad on the side to jazz it up a bit! Cute, right!
Now the front….You could do an endless amount of ideas! This was just super quick and fun! Polka Dots make me happy and I always have a template around to make fun projects like this. Just take a heavier piece of cardboard ( like the kind that comes in our packaging) and make some templates in all different shapes…( see below) – this way you will always have a fun and quick technique ready to go! You can tell that this has been well loved!

You can see how a quick sponging of the circles and a quick stamping over top makes this a fun and fresh project!. If I were to do a bunch of these I would cut out all of my white paper…put just a dab of adhesive on the back( so they would not wiggle while you are sponging) do all of the sponging…then go back and do all of the stampin'…..then add the initials!
Seriously, this would be a great project for the Easter Holidays if you wanted something cute and needed to make many! It is very inexpensive to make and a project that is great for an "assembly line" job!

I hope you have a great weekend! I am hoping to get lots accomplished myself at home…it seems like it has been a crazy but great week and I am ready to have a bit of down time! I am a click away if I can be of any help to you…as you know, I love to help you and inspire you…have a super day and until tomorrow!

Isn't this the cutest little gem! I love to make special little extra touches like this 3-D box and it can be used for dual purposes! One to hold these adorable 3 X 3 gift cards and envelopes but also it could be used for some candies…some little gifts like gift cards and chap-stick…lots of ideas!
I make these often to give as gifts! Isn't it just a perfect and practical little something to give! I have made cards for the holidays…for birthdays – you can add a monogram…the ideas are endless! It "whips" up SUPER quick and uses minimal supplies! I was inspired by a fellow PALS Demonstrator, Beth Beard! Please watch Beth's super informative video on all of the scoop of how easy this is to make!
I often get asked, "How do you decide on what colors to start a project?" EASY – as you know I love liners in my envelopes…I truly usually choose that 1st because I know I can find a perfect decorative paper to be the WOW factor to my project! The decorative paper pack of "Birds of a Feather" was my go to! The other factor that ALWAYS makes it super easy is that Stampin' Up! always lists the colors of paper that coordinate with the paper packs!

Using super basic tools to make this come to life is so crisp and clean! The 1 1/4 " Square Punch is the clean edges that are just a click!!! I decided to use the Black Staz On because I thought I would add a bit of color to the cards but then I changed my mind – I really liked the clean and crisp look of the black!

The Stamps used came from the Spring Sampler Set that is in the Spring Catalog! This is an adorable set and I find that I use the "smaller" stamps like this a bunch as it is element"just the perfect element" to make a statement – same goes with the Teeny Tiny Wishes, this stamp set is definitely in your "A List" to have!
One thing that is a "FOR SURE" when you make boxes and most 3-D projects is to use sticky strip adhesive…why~ because it is our super strong adhesive and most 3 D's need that extra support! As always, I popped the various colors with Stampin' Dimensionals and lined that precious little envelope….The envelope?…where did they come from? Stampin' Up! of course! These little guys get overlooked all the time…(page 160), the square envelopes come on a package of 40 and are super handy to have on hand!

I think this was a super cute post today! Please leave me a comment below and let me know how you liked it! I always appreciate your comments and feedback! Being a part of Mary Fish's PALS group is so much fun and I would love to have you discover how much fun it is to have a vast network of cyber friends with an endless collection of resources to use!
