“Bravo Stamp Set”…3 x’s in a row…

IMG_0818
It kind of sounds like tic-tac-toe…3 x's in a row! This is one super stamp set and if I were you….I would let it have a great home with YOU! Remember to use the hostess code  YJ4EWY3C for any orders you place with me this week so you can have a chance of the "Pot of Gold" and YOU will win the hostess winnings – my thanks to YOU for your support!

This card is for the Grandparents to the twins that I made a card for yesterday, click here to see it if you missed yesterday's post! Playing with the colors of the school…it came together in a jif! When I showed John it….he said – "switch up the colors and make the stripes go horizontal and do a 4th of July card!" I am going to take his advice!

Again, the key tools are….ruler, pencil, eraser, green glue, stampin trimmer and dimensionals! I have a bunch of pictures but not lots of time to type so here you go! The size of the finished card is 3" X 6 1/2" and with the envelope punch board…WOW – instant magic!

IMG_0812

The strips of "real red" paper are 1/4" wide – (great way to use up scraps) and then the "green glue" is the best for accuracy! (just love the ability to wiggle them into place…right on the pencil lines!)

IMG_0810

IMG_0811

The sentiment is from the Bravo Photopolymer Stamp Set….LOVE that you can see exactly where your placement is! The size of this is 2" X 5 1/2" and then the mat in black is just a "smidge" larger!

135380G

The new star punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and again, this is a must have for you! Please do not forget that you can take a "test drive" with Stampin' Up! for just $50.00 and you can pick $55.00 worth of product! You have nothing to lose and you can do this for 1 day or a lifetime – the choice is yours!

133787G

The fun and different envelope was made in a cinch with the help of the Envelope Punch Board….You just start with a 7 7/8" square pices of paper and then the outer flap of the envelope is adorned with the FUN DSP called – Back to Black….a favorite of many already!

IMG_0820

Well….that's it – Mary Beth was OVER THE MOON happy with winning so much with placing an order with me last week. I am doing it again this week, so please put the hostess number of  YJ4EWY3C in your order (If I see that you did not do it – I will call SU and change it for you)

I thank you all so much for your "popping in" every day and please continue to tell your family and friends about my blog…my passion…my desire to inspire and believe in you! You can subscribe to my daily postings!

IMG_0825

Tomorrow is a GREAT day – it is the PALS Monthly Blog hop showcasing new favorites of many of the PALS! This is such a great group of talented stampers and wow – the best leader in the world…Mary Fish!

I know that the Grandparents of these 2 fine young men are going to love and appreciate this card! No doubt, they are very proud of them…as they should be!

Can't wait until tomorrow…..blog hops are fun!!!!! Until tomorrow!

Woot-Woot – fun & done!

IMG_0749

Happy Saturday everyone! This catalog and me are like "Peanut Butter & Jelly"…I just love it and I will say that I think the products/stamps totally lend to making clean and simple cards…and I LIKE THAT!

Again, you do not need me at all on this card and it is like 1-2-3 to make but I will give you some tips! I tried to "discipline" myself in not "diving" into my new order and to be focused on getting the Ribbon Share orders going forward but after I sorted all of the rolls of ribbon, I rewarded my self to 15 minutes of playtime!

IMG_0707

The stamps are easy to see during "playtime" but I needed to get into the packs of Designer Series Papers and HOME RUN….Stampin' Up! had 3 men on base and the batter hit it out of the park with the papers this year!

This paper for the envelope is from the Back To Black Designer Series Paper and it is simple WOW…soooo classic and fun! I can already see many, many amazing projects with this beauty!

133700G

I often get asked how do I line the outer part of the envelope…well it's so easy…I use the snail…all around the outer edges and trim away! This is one time that I much prefer the snail over the "green glue" as I do not want any glue bubbles behind – I like the smooth feel!

IMG_0754

I feel like I am going backwards but here you go!

  • The card is a note card size but I thought it would be fun to make a Black Note Card to really play up on the DSP and use a white envelope!
  • I adore paper and I try to be frugal with my paper! You can see in the below photo that I punched out as many of the "center part" that I could – why not…I have a organizational thing? (I really do not know what it is called) that has a bunch of little drawers…I adhere on the outside a sample of the "punched" image that it is the drawers….works for me!

IMG_0706

  • The dimensions of the papers are Bermuda Bay – 4 1/2" X 3 1/4"…the black – 4 1/8" X 2 7/8" and the white stamped piece is 4" X 2 3/4"
  • How about this stamp set…it is called Big News….it is super fun and all of the sentiments are fresh and fun!

134018S

  • The extra touch was the stars popped out from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and the a simple black candy dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots (these little guys sure do come in handy!)

IMG_0751

I am sure that you know someone that is totally AWESOME and what a fun and quick card! Pop back tomorrow for a 3-D fun…..I am in love with this new paper and can't wait to showcase more of it for you!

Have a great day! Until tomorrow!

“My favorite new stamp”…I think!

IMG_0684

Well everyone…I am sure that you all have studied this new catalog from top to bottom and I am sure that many of you have your favorites but today I am going to showcase a favorite of mine!

The minute I received the catalog and had the time to flip…flip…flip….I found myself always going back to page 144-145 – why? the top section of this super fun card!

Screen shot 2014-06-05 at 10.27.22 PM

Screen shot 2014-06-05 at 10.26.41 PM
I loved it at first sight and I love it even more in person…why? – Easy -peasy….

It's simple…it's clean…it's practical…it uses a minimal amount of product…it delivers the simple message…BAM!

You do not need me for this card…but I will share with you a "work-up" of a fantastic group of products that would get you to the "threshold of $55.00" so you can take a test drive with me…with Mary Fish…with Stampin Up! and the garage is always open for you to return your rental car with no penalties!

IMG_0686

IMG_0688

This is just using the note card bases and envelopes and then if you read on page 144-145 of the catalog, you will see that they used the Aqua Painters….(you know that I love them) but I have not showcased them in my "kit"…and I used a simple paint brush to do this….

IMG_0687

I was worried about this "wetness" on the paper so I was a chicken and cut a piece of white use 1/4" smaller, but I did not need it! I will say, I much prefer the aqua painters as I feel like I have control with them but I was trying to duplicate the catalog as much as I could and it worked!

The next pictures of how I "stepped it up" a bit and added a couple of extras! This card is sooooo great and the best thing is how you can add these products as I have listed and you are off to a start of getting your 1st order of the new products at 30% off! I say that deserves a WOOT-WOOT, and please email me if you have questions!

IMG_0693

IMG_0692

This paper stack, All Abloom is wonderful…I am thrilled that Stampin' Up! is continuing to offer these for us! You can line (2) envelopes from one of the sheets of paper! This is just  $6.95 – here comes another WOOT-WOOT! You can see that I lined one of the samples inside the envelope and the other to the outside – either way you can do 2 envelope with one sheet of paper!

I am sure that you have heard fom many….and you have also heard from me about the great no risk opportunity to have fun with Stampin' Up! and also be able to purchase your Stampin' Up! goodies for just  $50.00~ Look below and see how I have "packaged" this post to make it doable!

Screen shot 2014-06-04 at 12.00.08 PM

In the chart above I highlighted the Moonlight Paper but then decided to change my mind once my order came in last night and I saw how incredible the All Abloom Paper is! You cannot go wrong with either paper stack – these are just little gems of paper love that need to find a way to your craft room!

The items that I have listed in the kit above are all "must have's" and products that you will use over and over – the basics at it's best!

Please email me and I will be happy to talk with you and explain how easy it is to be a hobby enthusiast (you all get really scared with the word Demonstrator) If you are ready ready to take your rental car out...click here and get the engine going!

IMG_0696

I "thank you" for popping by today and I hope that this simple card brought a smile to your face! Last night I was like a kid in a candy shop going through my box of new goodies!

My goal is to get the ribbon share orders completed and in the mail to you by Monday morning….wow – I have a TON of ribbon and it is all sooooo beautiful!

I think that you will agree with me on this card – it does not get any simpler than this! I say – this is my kind of card and this is the card I will be making for everyone that took advantage of the ribbon share!

IMG_0694

Have a fabulous day – and remember, in the below pictures of the products I used today…all you have to do is simply click on the picture and it will take you to my online store – easy!

Until tomorrow!

p.s. – I apoligize if you get this post twice…I did not realize until I woke up this morning that I have clicked the timer to go off at 3:30 p.m. and I could not go back and change it!

A Thursday color challenge…

IMG_0598

Color challenges make me smile and I know that you are going to like this simple and perky card! Please hop ove to the Pals Paper Art website to see the fun interpretations that the design team came up with! Here are the colors that you can play with this week….please, come out and play!

Screen shot 2014-06-04 at 10.03.27 PM

I know that I missed my "Make it Monday" sketch challenge for you this week…but the catalog unveiling was "Top Dog"! I know that you are loving the new catalog as much as I am and I am going to work early this morning as my order is coming today and I am super excited!

IMG_0668

You know that Polka Dots make me smile and this card is soooo oober easy – you can make up a bunch in a jif! Speaking of jif…last night at the monthly Breast Cancer Card making….we completed 60+ cards in 30 minutes! WOWZERS!!!!

Let's go…not much to tell you but there are some good pictures for you! You already know the colors and the card size is notecard (5" X 3 1/2") in the So Saffron…..(currently my favorite yellow)

IMG_0676

  • The star of this card are the polka dots from the Work of Art Stamp Set….how can they not make you smile! Just randomly stamp away…I place my white card stock on a piece of computer parer and go to town!

Work Of Art Wood Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

This set is so amazing as it truly lets the "Inner Picasso" out in you! If you google ideas with this stamp set….be ready to order it as you will be WOWED by the amazing creations!

IMG_0674

  • The sentiment comes from the Hostess Set, Hello There and with the new catalog just unveiling, this stamp set can be yours in 2 ways!
  1. With an order of $150.00 or more will allow you to earn hostess dollars…
  2. If you place and order with me this week and you are the lucky one on Sunday – you will win the hostess winnings for the week!

Hello There Clear Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

  • After stamping it, I pulled out the Big Shot and using the Deco Framelits was a cinch to frame this sentment and then did the same with the Pacific Blue!

IMG_0676

  • The little "snippet of a bow" in the Whisper White Bakers Twine was an easy yet textured touch! I used a simple glue dot to hold it in place – easy-peasy!
  • The last thing I did and WOW is it unusual for me…instead of lining the envelope, I stamped the back flap with the dots….so fun!

IMG_0679

I shared this card with the volunteers last night and they loved it…we will be making it next month! Every month we make (4) different cards X 15….so each week there is a great supply of encouragement for patients under-going treatment in our community!

I told you it was easy….so cute – so fresh! I hope that this has inspired you to make a "clean and simple card" as…if you are like me…time is soooo darn tootin' precious!

Have a great day….please play along with the PALS and until tomorrow!

Can’t get easier than this!

IMG_0524

There are many times that we need a quick…simple card and simply do not have time to think? I think we have all been there…many – many times! I feel like I have been on a super fun roller coaster being away and trying to pull together some fun posts for you!

This is one quick and easy card and truly – it looks better in person than it photographs! The whole concept of this card is from Project Life…Stampin' Up! is soooo fortunate to have this opportunity with Becky Higgins.

Becky is very noted in the Scrapbooking World and this marriage is going to be an answer to many peoples dilemmas..so simple to put into 1 word – TIME!

IMG_0530

Before we go any further, I must say….I was a Creative Memories Consultant for years….many years! True I loved the product and company but as many of you know, the company went to a different focus and ultimately, they are no longer around. Sad…very sad as it was a great product!

When working with people, I found it very similar to what we deal with on a daily basis when wanting to find time in our lives to create…but that word TIME always got in the way!

I am being very honest that I have not spent much TIME with playing around with Project Life…but reading and watching videos – I can proudly say…

It is the answer to help us get "caught up" and preserve our memories!

I can say that the biggest obstacle I ran accross when working with customers was…they tried sooooooo hard to make it "perfect" that they became frustrated and ultimately just "could not catch up" – This is exactly what happened to me and I am sure that I am speaking to you.

Screen shot 2014-06-02 at 11.17.05 PM

Today's post is not about Scrap-booking but it is all about making something super cute really, really fast! On the pre-order we were able to order some Project Life items. This is called the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection and you get 100 double sided cards in 3 different sizes all for just $15.95.

Screen shot 2014-06-02 at 11.33.29 PM

All I did was simply take out the grey and white stripe piece from the box…matted it on a White Card Base…then pulled out a smaller decorative card that said a simple "HI" …matted that with crushed curry…added some stampin dimensions…a couple of stars and neutral brads…DONE!

IMG_0532

Seriously, this is so easy and I can say it was fun to flip through the box of cards and let me feel like I was being creative but the reality is…the work was already done for me….(just love these pre-printed cards!)

I can see 1st hand how they worked to make a simple card…and I can image how easy and fast it would to preserve and journal about our memories…remember DONE is better than NONE and it does NOT have to be perfect!

Screen shot 2014-06-02 at 11.44.03 PM

Lining the envelope seemed to be super appropriate with the new paper stack, Moonlight…these are a gem as well as you get 48 sheets of super fun paper for just $6.95 – I was so glad that SU is continuing to come out with these! WOWZER – a great group of paper!

IMG_0536

I have enjoyed many of your comments and excitement about the new catalog…I am super excited and I am glad that no you all get to see it!

It is a keeper all the way around and besides the product inside the catalog, I adore how it is laid out and it is so easy to look up the various collections!

Remember, to please use a hostess code - 9AHHUX9Z -  if you are placing an order with me this week…I am offering you an opportunity to take advantage of earning hostess benefits for all orders from – June 2nd – thru Sunday, June 8th at 9 p.m.

“Dad’s Day”…is just 2 weeks away!

IMG_0543

Two weeks from today is Father’s Day! When I saw this new stamp set in the catalog there were several cards that came into my head to make…this is one of them! I posted before that when I was little, the traditional gift that my siblings and I would give to my Dad was always a new tie and some cashews.

I think this card is fun and simple – it was easy to make. This stamp set comes with matching framelits, and it is a bundle – woot-woot – an instant 15% off!

Tomorrow is the day that we all have been waiting for…the new catalog!

This stamp set has so many fun and adorable stamps that can be used for the “baby at heart” or also for a variety of other occasions, just like today’s card.

IMG_0548

  • The card is a note card size and starting tomorrow, Stampin’ Up! will be making the note card and matching envelopes in Crumb Cake, I am soooo happy about that as I use this size over and over! Today you can see it is the good old faithful whisper white!

Memory Time: Another thing that reminds me of my Dad and ties are the fact that probably over 90% of his ties are stripes of some sort. (I was going to cut the ties with the framelits out of stripe DSP but I just loved the polka dots!)

  • To “pull in the stripe thing for me”, I took a piece of Crumb Cake just a smidge smaller (1/4") and than ran it through the Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.
  • Knowing that I wanted my Night of Navy ties to be front and center” to the card today…I took the Squares Framelits and cut the center out of the crumbcake embossed piece using the #4 framelit.

Tip Alert: – When I refer to #’s on the templates…the smallest one is #1 and then I go outward. To me this makes it super easy and consistent. Also, when I made a shape like this, I take a pencil and trace a faint line so if I am lining something up or stamping  – I know that I can get it perfect each time! A simple eraser is your best friend!

IMG_0552

  • Using the #4 and #5 Square Framelit, I made a “frame” for around my box for the front of the card! This is a simple and easy tip that always makes your card stand out…
  • I did pull out my trusty friend, the stamp-a-ma-jig…WHY???…I ask WHY NOT?  To me if you are going to make a card, go ahead and do the next step…use the tools that we have and use them to your advantage! The sentiment of from good old’ Teeny Tiny Wishes, the perfect “go-to” stamp set for quick and easy sentiments!
  • I placed the "edges" of the Stampin Dimensionals to the back of the ties to give them some pop! We do not waste a thing with the stampin' vitamins!
  • Envelope time…because this card is so classic, I decided to use a solid color of paper to line the envelope – sometimes I think that we always feel that we need to use DSP…but this keeps it super simple and masculine!

IMG_0560

  • The front of the envelope is a simple and as cute as can be…a simple tie and the sentiment – this will surely put a smile on my Dad's face as well as the mailman's!

That's it…Isn't this soooo darn cute! Simple…clean…fun! I must admit – I forget about the embossing folders and when I do use them – I always smile!

My friend Jeanie uses them all of the time and as she says –"For $7.95 – how can you go wrong as they make a card go from good to GREAT with a crank of the Big Shot" I need to listen to her more….she's one talented and fun lady!

Well my friends…..the time has come….the hourglass has been turned and we are all going to be doing the WOOT-WOOT tomorrow with the new catalog!

Remember, you will not be able to do orders until noon Mountain Time as Stampin' Up! has to do it's magic to get the new numbers in order for us to click away!

You will be able to view the catalog online….be able to order to your heart's content….and also have the opportunity to be the hostess as I will have a hostess code for you to put on your order and I will randomly pick 1 person that orders from me…to win the hostess benefits!!!!

More details and the code tomorrow…I am super excited and I also will share with you some of the MUST HAVES that are on my 1st order!

IMG_0564

I made it to Florida and it is wonderful to be with family! My intentions are to email all of the people that order ribbon shares from me today…it has been a busy but an incredible past couple of days!

Get ready to do the happy dance…let the fun begin with the new catalog!

Until tomorrow!
